I can't speak on the office as I haven't been there yet, but I can say that had an emergency at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek which he was called to. Judging from the distance he had to cover he left immediately because he got to me damn quick. I had an incident where I smashed a metal pipe on to the top/base of my thumb (where the extensor tendon is) nearly severing the tendon.

When i arrived to emergency the triage dr tested my mobility which is where it snapped. I was shit'n bricks after hearing that sound ( I play drums so I value my hand very very much). Right off the bat Dr. Leung was warm and put my nerves at ease. I knew from his personality that I was in good hands. So already my stress level had gone down. Which was already a huge relief.

He was able to retrieve the tendon without anesthesia and was lightning fast with his procedure. He kept it light and friendly and has been the first Dr. to ever listen to me when I told him that don't do well with norco. I will be following up with him a lot over the next several weeks so if I don't update this at all it's because it remained true through the entire duration of my recovery. Dr. Leung, I can't thank you enough for saving my thumb. Note: no 2 people respond the same to a surgical procedure, if things didn't go well for you and your surgeon no longer wants to operate on you it's because they feel it's in your best interest to try someone else who may have the right touch for your particular procedure. There's great risks from anesthesia alone, and these are risks that you agree to taking. It's nobody's fault that things didn't turn out the way you wanted it's just how life goes sometimes. One thing I can say with much certainty is that when it comes to being in the other end of the knife Dr. Leung has my trust and there's something to be said in that!

Let me start by saying I am over 1 year post op! I have been contemplating this review and if I should post it our not. I feel I should because I want anyone who is considering Blepharoplasty by Dr. Leung or any other surgeon to make sure you understand the whole process very thoroughly, you understand potential post op issues and question every aspect about it when speaking to the doctor.

During your consultation you will be asked to tilt your head back and of course you can see the heavy bags under your eyes disappear and it looks great. Well, that is what you are led to believe your out come will be. It is not the case for everyone. Make sure you know what to expect after 2 weeks, after a month, after 6 months and even after a year.

Every time I went for a follow up I was told I was still swollen and it would go down and the next time I went I was told the same thing. This lasted for months after about 6-7 months post op. Finally I said this is not what the results I was expecting and I was told we could possibly use fillers to see if that corrected the problem. Really? I just spent how many thousands of dollars, went through recovery and months of frustration to have to use fillers for the rest of my life to correct the issues from my Blepharoplasty?

At my expense? Really? I feel like my eyes are actually worse now than 4 months ago, so I have consulted with a new plastic surgeon and we are going to make a plan. Granted my 'bags' are smaller, they are still very pronounced and my eyes don't match. The right one is puffier than the left one. Dr Leung and his staff are fabulous, caring and always there when you need them and I see him for other non surgical procedures.

Just make sure to shop around before you trust a surgeon who is going to perform plastic surgery on you and be sure to have several consultations. Maybe someone who is a specialist in what procedure you are wanting to have done.

I have been seeing Dr Leung for at least 5 years and love everything about Dr. Leung's practice and have been meaning to leave this review for a long time. I am always so well taken care of by every member of the staff and leave the office feeling better than when I came. I drive an hour each way just to see Dr Leung for Botox and Evelyn for facials and BBL lasers because they truly are the best at what they do and I have complete trust in them. Kim the office manager and Kathy are amazing and I will only buy my Skinceuticals products from them because of their in depth knowledge and experience with the product line.

I feel totally comfortable booking appointments, asking for recommendations and they always work within my budget for any treatment. Can't say enough good things about the practice!

Filler Injections: I sleep on my stomach with left side of face to pillow. Consequently my left cheek is flatter than my right. Went to Leung for filler along the cheek bone on left to match the fullness on my right cheekbone area. He placed 3 injections under my cheekbone almost in the hollow area (where I would normally brush some bronzer) NOT along the cheekbone!

He refused to see that is what he'd done, trying to convince me he'd put along cheekbone. SO was NOt what he did. He told me to come back in a week and if I was still not satisfied with the where he placed it, he'd ad more above. I'm to go in 2 dys but I'm super hesitant to have him get near my face again. I don't trust him to do the right thing!

I had him do botx between my eyebrows some time back which went fine. But I also had him inject at same time the crinkly wrinkles on sides of nose, the bunny lines. I kind of don't think there was any active product in the siringe cuz those lines/wrinkles still crinkled up when I'd smile or scrunch my face. I DO NOT recommend this Dr for any type of cosmetic procedures. I've since heard other stories from women that have had bad experiences. I'd steer clear of this guy.

He did a beautiful job sewing up my husband's face after a pretty vicious dog attack. He came into the hospital around 2:00 in the morning and was at the top of his game. His follow up was outstanding as well.

I think he is amazing and great doctor removed a Ganglion cyst on my wrist, very easily. I would totally recommend Dr. Leung

Very bad experiacne with Dr Leung I went in for a neck lift and he talked me into a full facelift. and upper eye lift. to smooth it all out. My eyes don't close and my neck looks the same. and my cheeks are sunken. I look worst now then when i came in. he abandoned me on my 12 week visit and told me he couldn't do anymore to go else where. I ask for my money back to redo this mess. No Response! Very unprofessional he had more exercises then results. A good saleman up front but doesn't guarantee his work.

Excellent, upbeat, and professional. Doctor Leung was a pleasure to work. He answered all of my questions enthusiastically and provided high quality service I would recommend to anyone.

Had a bad facelift and Dr leung sent me a letter to go else, that he couldn't do anymore. I looked better before the surgery. he did that to another gal on yelp, Bonded her too. He took my money and ran. Please do not go to someone the doesn't back up their work. He had more excuses and did something different from what we talk about. He doesn't tie the muscles, He's very unprofessional. My closes don't close and I have a fold under my chin and sunken cheeks that was not thier before. What went wrong?

Dr. Leung is the best cosmetic doctor/surgeon I have ever been to- his knowledge, skill and precision are unsurpassed. He's a true artist and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend Dr. leung to my family and friends.

Dr. Leung and his staff are amazingly professional and kind. Kim, his office manager, is adorable, polite and accommodating. Dr. Leung is humble, full of knowledge and takes time explaining procedures, anatomy and NEVER tries to sell you something you don't want or need. My mom flies in from out of town just to see him. He has a lovely office and his service matches his practice appearance. Simply outstanding! Heloisa

I had my original breast implants done by Dr Knowlton. Awesome quality and attn to detail surgeon leaving no scars and beautiful work. One leaked after 14 yrs. Dr Leung took over his practice, nice guy, assumed he was as good. Trusted his recommendation. He replaced with a different type, silicon. Awful decision to allow it. They have little form and just mush vs saline which have a nice round form and stay in position and he should have used textured on a redo.

The silicon hang like a water balloon, the shape is gone and they actually hurt all the time the way they hang low. Wearing a Bra 24/7. The right one sits 2 lower then the left and slides under arm. 1st time around nipple so no scar, this time under breasts so no hiding the jagged scares. When right leaked, I went in 4 weeks later for surgery but upper had closed some.

He did not bother to open and place at same level as left, thus lopsided now. Pain, lopsided and my bras are too big now. He at 2 week said he'd fix but got a letter a couple weeks later saying he would not correct it and sent photos for another doctor to do. Put me through it twice and double the cost$$. Thank you dr Leung for causing my anguish and kicking me to the curb. I've gone in search of a good doctor to fix who stands by their work. They all tell me his choice should have been different at the start. This was a simple task.

I hated to read the negative reviews about Dr. Leung, because I have had numerous good experiences with him and his office. My family and I have trusted him to do mole removals from difficult places on the face, including lip and forehead, and have had no problem with scarring at all. I have also had laser treatments which were effective at his office.

I have considered doing surgical work, and have had two free consultations in which I saw pictures of facial work he has done, and it seemed extremely impressive, from looking at before and after pictures. I would trust him to do surgical work.

I have been going to Dr. Leung (injections), and Evelyn (for facials, and laser treatments), for about 8+ years and have ALWAYS been thrilled with the results. I haven't had surgery, yet it has been recommended and I would not hesitate since we have talked in great detail about an eye lift already. It has just been cost prohibitive for me at this time, yet his fees are reasonable in comparison.

The best thing I experienced was that he does all the injections himself, and he is an artist when it comes to looking natural, which is a huge concern for me. I'd recommend him to anyone and hopefully in the near future, I'll have that eye lift! In addition, his staff is nice, professional, and responsive. It's a great practice all the way around!

I have recently moved out of state, yet would go back for any surgery. I need some injections now, and am terrified to try anyone here because I don't think they will measure up!

I've been going to Dr. Leung for various procedures for about 15 years, and as far as I'm concerned, he is the best! Prior to that I had been to 3 other doctors who were good at one procedure and not so good at others. Dr. Leung has always been superb in his work on me. He also happens to be one of the most personable doctors I've ever met in all fields of medicine. He is extremely cautious about his work to ensure the best result and his staff has consistently been caring and responsive.

A family member had two small scars removed by this doctor - in and out procedure very easy. Incision broke open twice and scars are 5 x the size as they were before, still red after 1 year. Nice doctor, felt bad.but terrible experience. Wish we had never set foot in that office.
