The doctors here are great if I can't get through by phone I send an email and they always respond At least by the next day. I read some of the reviews, people get busy and you look for an alternative way to reach them. Doesn't seem that complicated to me. I called and left a voicemail this morning and they got back to me about five hours later On the same day. Not a problem! For me anyway

Dr Shue has been great. I had very elevated liver enzymes and he got me in for a stat liver ultrasound so we could rule out any lesions

This negative review is specifically for the scheduling staff. I called this morning to confirm details for my mother's upcoming colonoscopy, and the scheduling staff was incredibly rude and curt when asked simple clarifying questions regarding the prep for my mother's procedure. The scheduling staffer handling my call also hung up on me abruptly.

I don't believe the language, tone, and delivery of the person I spoke to on the phone today is an accurate representation of the care you're providing for patients. I understand that everyone is prone to having a bad day and healthcare workers are under a lot of pressure in this current climate, but this is not the first time I've experienced this rude behavior while speaking with your scheduling staff. The interaction was disappointing, and I can imagine that other patients being spoken to in this manner would feel the same.

Terrible customer service. They just won't answer the phone so a person can make an appointment! I've left several messages with no call back. Also in the voice mail message by Kim Sacrimoni, it states if your call is urgent and need to speak to a supervisor press "0" and the operator will connect you, it hangs up. How terrible is this place?!?!?! I hate that doctors refer to a place like this.

Terrible service. I've called several days out of the week and left several messages. They do not call patients back at all; however, the phone operator claims you will receive a call back by the end of day but this is a straight lie, it's been over a week and still no call back. I made sure to call before 1pm every time I left a message because it says if you call after 4pm they will call the next day.

This is a lie too. It's like they don't care about their patients. I do not recommend going here. Beware and stay away. PS: They don't even know how to properly hit a vein. I was poked in 5 different locations before they got it right and it took 3 different people to finally get it right. Truly a shame.

I have been going to Digestive Care Institute for years and all of the doctors here are great. Every doctor I've seen here has been caring and professional. Dr. Fukunaga and Dr. Chung are very knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions or explain everything about my condition which is so important. All of their staff are friendly and willing to help as well. Definitely a patient for life.

The office staff at this practice is completely incompetent. I've never gone to a less capable place in my entire life. The staff who answer the phones and are supposed to help you make appointments and process prescription refills are horrific at their jobs. When they do answer the phones, they frequently mix up information, take days to call your pharmacy and are difficult to get the correct dosage from even for medication you've been on for years. I suggest never going to this practice as the care is AWFUL.

I have been a patient here and have been seeing Dr. Riyaz for the last few years and I love him and his staff. From the start he has presented with a very caring demeaner He is one of the few Dr.s that actually listens and cares about his patients. Yes when you get a colonoscopy its a patient in and patient out atmosphere but its like that at EVERY colonoscopy center I have ever been to that is not the place to discuss issues with your Dr the appointment at the office is which is why you make an appointment to meet them prior to the procedure. yes the call center can be busy but leave a message clarifying who you are and exactly what you are calling about and they will return your call. I cannot say enough about Dr Riyaz and his staff

Great doctors! very thorough and intelligent. I am a local surgeon and know that when I send them patients, they will take excellent care of them. Dave Chung and Dan Shue are experts in endoscopic ultrasound as well as pancreas and liver diseases!

This was the 3rd time over the last 15 years that I've Had a procedure done. Dr Holt performed the first two & Dr Riyaz performed the most recent 3rd, both doctors are excellent and I would recommend them to my family and friends. The whole staff that attended me where great and friendly. Check in was easy and they followed COVID protocols.
