Ok. So what you need to know about this clinic is 1) should I get medical care here? and 2) what will my experience be like? The ratings are low for a couple of very obvious reasons: 1) The front desk staff is pretty unprofessional, and the process for contacting the clinic and trying to make an appointment is, to be honest, a mess. I talked to three different people over the course of an entire day just to get to someone who could actually schedule me a normal appointment. 2) Once you're there for your appointment, you are going to wait. Forever.
Past your appointment time into oblivion. Like, consistently an hour or more past your appointment time. BUT the reason I gave 4 stars (instead of the infuriated 1 a lot of people seem to give for this issue, and that I feel like giving every time I interact with the front desk staff) is that the actual doctors here really are good providers of quality OB/Gyn care.
I assume what must be happening with the wait is that they are just WAAYY overbooked, and having to go to deliveries, etc. So 1) Yes, you should get care here if you want good, quality care provided by docs associated with the best (as in highest level of care) hospital in the area and 2) your experience will be moderately infuriating. Good luck out there guys.

I've never once had a problem with this office. I've been seeing Katy & Dr. Gaddy for 10+ years and I could not imagine not having her there for me. There have been a few times where my wait was longer than usual, but never have I been forgotten about, and I am an understanding individual who knows things happen. I've never had a bad experience or experienced anyone being rude. I'm shocked that there are so many bad reviews.

Women in the office are plain rude. I have been very sick and after many calls saying it's urgent, they will not call me back. They would not answer the pharmacy calls or call back. I liked Laura, she is nice but her office is a joke: they left me in waiting room for almost an hour and almost didn't see me pretending they were on hold with my insurance. Save your money and time. Run away from here. Worst place I've been to customer service by far.

Experience at office by Garden Park. I wouldn't recommend the nurse practitioner Nurse Laura to anyone. She's rude, has terrible bedside manner. The lab techs are rude and mock you. They also don't follow Hippa laws and request patient information be given out in the open in the waiting room. Horrific experience for a 13 year old girl just trying to gain control of her anemia and heavy periods. I just pray this doesn't impact her trust in other OB's. Women's Health is too important. Shame on all of you for making a child cry during her first visit.

A few months ago I called and was worked in for an unplanned visit. The receptionist was kind on the phone & gave me a 2pm appointment time. I showed up about 20 minutes early to complete paperwork, hoping I would be seen on time. When I arrived the office door was locked. No note on the door. I tried calling the office several times and there was no ringtone.
After standing outside in the hot & humid summer heat for a few minutes, I saw people walking past me on their cell phones (making eye contact with me) towards the back of the building. At 2pm the receptionist opened the door. I went to sign in and was greeted at the counter by "whats the name?". No hello. No apology for walking past me outside, with me looking puzzled and pulling on the locked door, and not saying that they don't open for the next 10/15 minutes.
Come to find out the ENTIRE office staff all go to lunch AT THE SAME TIME, AND SHUT OFF THEIR OFFICE PHONE while they are gone. No note on door. No mention on the phone when I was given the appointment earlier that morning, not to show up early. I completed the paperwork. Over 15 minutes PAST my appointment time, I was finally called back to an exam room.
After ANOTHER 15 minutes sitting half naked, I was finally seen by the Dr. (who also passed me by waiting outside her office & didn't say anything). When will Dr's realize it is US THEIR PATIENTS who supply their salary by utilizing the services they offer. If the doctors can't hire compassionate, competent employees to run their office and assist their patients in a friendly and timely manner, I'll be taking my health care needs & money elsewhere.

The Gulfport Woman's Clinic office staff need training in customer service and phone manners. Extremely unprofessional. My primary care MD placed a consult for me to be seen by a GYN doctor. I made an appointment with one of their staff MDs. A week later, I was called by a front desk "person" to make an appointment with a different MD. I TRIED to explain to this "person" that I have already made an appointment.
She got absolutely CRAZY! She yelled at me, she was hyper verbal (like someone floridly psychotic or on speed or crack) she would not let me get a word out. I finally hung up. When are the MDs, take a look at their "office staff" and REALIZE there are loosing patients and therefore MONEY as well as their reputation! This is the age of SOCIAL MEDIA and customers reviews online which will go instantly VIRAL.
I have TOP OF THE LINE medical insurance, I don't have to put up with substandard care, I am taking my healthcare elsewhere, they are not the ONLY game in town! BEWARE, save your time and your money and RUN away from that place.

I agree with these other reviews the nurse did not call in my prescription correctly so my husband could pick it up and I had to remain in discomfort through the night because I live in the country and could not make a trip to town until the next day. She was short with me on the phone very uncaring so I should have known or not have been surprised. I will find a new place to go at the time of my next check up

The wait time is horrific. I called beforehand and told them I had to catch a flight and they insured me that I would make my flight. I ended up having to leave after I paid my cash and as I was telling them what happened, the receptionist had a nasty attitude. I already paid so I rescheduled. When I came back, they told me they would let me know my results, they never did.
I had to call them and they finally mailed me my results. They also incorrectly charged me. They were suppose to give me discounts since I paid with cash! I will never go here again.

I would not suggest this practice based on their billing practices alone. The administrator was extremely rude and short with me when I called to inqure why I never received a phone call about my bill, as I was promised. Instead, she was short rude, shifted blame to the insurance company and never acknowledged their mistake nor apologized. Needless to say I will not ever be returning.
