Went as an assistant and amateur translator, the nurses desk was rude, impatient, and incompetent among other things. The only reason I give two stars is because the doctor was helpful, the process of getting in is a nightmare, especially for someone who's first language isn't English. They ask questions but don't have the patience to wait for the answer and when you find out that someone's English is limited raising your voice and talking to them like a child is the most ignorant and stress inducing response that you can possibly have.
That should be common sense. They could not convey information that should be basic for them, instead they kept asking why did the patient come in the first place if she had already had a check up within a year. as if she was imposing upon them. Once the doctor arrived he quickly informed us that she is right to have an appointment but just scheduled with the wrong kind of center, something we could have figured out sooner with competency. I left this place feeling like I'd cut my life shorter by a year or two due to stress.

The doctors are awesome and nurses are very friendly! The HR side and receptionist process if HORRIBLE in Montgomery! I go to the Prattville location because I can talk to a nurse or make an appointment. Its next to nearly impossible to do so in Montgomery. To the point that if anything were to happen to the Prattville clinic then I would find a different doctor to see.

I loved my service and care, generally. I worked with Dr. Waller and his team - with Haley Carnes as my main care provider and midwife. I have nothing but positive things to say about these people and my care. The receptionist (Troy location) fought with me about the glucose drink, even though my midwife told me to ask for it. The receptionist/scheduling person told me it was too late to take the glucose drink and acted like I lied to her.
Who in their right mind would ask for the glucose drink just because? Not me. She eventually gave it to me but acted like I was stealing it. Haha My main issue was with the phone lines. I could never talk to a human when calling any number or extension. I was on hold for 3 hours once and got kicked off the line. The next day I called again and waited almost 3 hours again.
I hung up and called the insurance line just to see if something was broken and got the agent instantly. She told me that they were just busy. I called after giving birth because I got mastitis. I had to wait for a long time to even talk to someone or get a call back. When I did they didn't even tell me they had sent my prescription already. They just did it without asking my symptoms.
I was thankful, but thought it was odd. A few months later I called for a similar reason, breast pain and a suspected infection. I called the nurse line and left a message at 8:30 am. It's 5:15 pm now and they're closed, and I got no call back at all. I'm honestly so upset. I'm in so much pain and I can't even get a call back? I stayed up all last night crying and shivering and called first thing in the morning.
Now I'm considering running to an urgent care or calling the emergency number but I'm not even sure that's worth the trouble. Because I've done that before too. and it took forever and I felt like such a bother. The care in person was amazing. The care remotely sucks. They need a new phone system and more staff answering phones. 3 hours is ridiculous for me to wait to RESCHEDULE.

Medical staff isn't very customer service oriented. Unable to schedule appointments as needed in a timely matter due to call the wait times. If a patient is seeking medical attention the last thing they want to deal with is an attitude or someone who acts as if you're annoying them. Either the medical staff needs some additional training or the current personnel need to change!

Sisters God is Faithful to us, First, I had begun praying for a Christian Gynecologist, because mine old OB/GYN moved to B-ham 2 years ago, one day I was at the nail spa discussing the goodness of God, with my nail tech Kristy, this was not unusual for Kristy & I to talk about God. This time though beside me was a young lady getting her nails done, Kristy nor myself was talking loud obviously "loud" enough for the young lady to hear us, she began sharing how she had to pray for a patient in turmoil at the nursing home, where she works.
She talked about how God moved in the patient, this lady( complete stranger, angel of the Lord) shared that she often prayed for patients. She said it's important that we as believers go to Christian doctors as well. I was like oh my goodnes look at God! So I began to tell her that I was praying for a Christian Gynecologist, she said Dr. Michael Phillips is a Christian Dr.
I am sitting there getting emotional because God has answered my payer! I was greeted upon arrival, the wait time was relatively short considering they were really busy today. I was instructed to take the elevator to the 2nd floor, where I was greeted again, warm & friendly there was so much postive energy in the office. Ms. Tracy was especially nice!
She made sure I felt comfortable while waiting for Dr. Phillips to come into the exam room. Dr. Phillips came into the room with such postive energy! He sat down to get to know me. He shared alittle about his family prior to my examination, it turn out we are close in age:), Dr. Phillips first & foremost is believer! He was attentive, and transparent, he was sympathetic to what I shared with him about my husband's passing way several years ago. Dr. Phillips was easy to talk to.
He listened to my questions about my upcoming procedure, calming any fears I may have. IF YOU ARE SEEKING A FELLOW BELIEVER AS YOUR GYNECOLOGIST I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. MATTHEW PHILLIPS @ OB/ GYN ASSOCIATES OF MONTGOMERY Keep Trusting & Believing

The staff are all very sweet and helpful. I have had no problems making appointments or having my phone calls returned in a timely manner. My doctor is Dr. Desetaul (spelling might be wrong).and he answers any question or concern I may have. He is also very thorough and runs the proper tests to make sure you are healthy and your baby. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!

I've been going here for more than 10 years, but I'm going to find a new practitioner. Dr. Desautels is good, but they have messed up insurance, billing, lost test results, cancelled appointments at the last minute. Office staff seems to be incompetent and rude. Anytime you call, you will be on hold at least 5-10 minutes. They must be underpaid. I don't think they treat everyone equally and they decide who to be rude to and who to overcharge.
I guess everyone needs a power trip sometimes! Be careful with their billing and insurance department. I'm still dealing with a bill they messed up 2 years ago and the lady NEVER called me back despite the fact I left her numerous messages. I had to get my insurance company to call her. You would think they'd take note of all the negative reviews.

This is the absolute worst doctor ever. This doctor does NOT listen to what you have to say. He makes a decision before he even walks into the room by looking at your chart. I used this doctor for five years. He delivered my baby. He was great at that, but once I got past anything to do with a baby, he was horrible. He kept saying that I had Endometriosis and that a Laparoscopy would solve everything.
Well he did a Laparoscopy with no results. Then he said a Hysterectomy was the best solution. Well I said absolutely not. I am 24! He would not listen to anything I had to say and insinuated that I just wanted pain medication! He absolutely refused to consider that my problems were do to anything other than run of the mill Endometriosis. This doctor ruined two years of my life! If you want a doctor to put you in a box from the 1950's, then go see this one!
