Obviously they did not file my insurance/Medicare - BUT THEY HAD NO PROBLEM turning over to a Collection Agency! They DID NOT EVEN HAVE COURTESY ENOUGH TO SEND ME A STATEMENT OR BILL! I pay my bills on time & have an EXCELLENT (800+) credit rating. This is REALLY DISGUSTING! This pertains to MOGA in Cordova. I was referred by Dr Cassidy for pain I was having in prlvic area.

Today, my grandmother had an appointment with a doctor here. Me and my mother came with her. No one told us on the phone calls that only one person was allowed to go in.to the building! So we drive 2 hours from our home to bring my grandmother in, go to the second floor. The ladies were very rude and ignored us for minutes before one even acknowledged that we had been waiting.
She is very rude still and then tells us that my grandmother is only allowed to have one person with her in the building. There are too many people taking seats on each floor, so I am currently sitting in the hot car outside because no one gave us the information in the weeks that we've had this appointment made. Go somewhere else that appreciates and is polite to patients.

I use to go here and loved it (I used them for gyno, not ob), so I referred my daughter to go to them, and they have treated her so poorly. They have absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for patients who are sick and pregnant. She has horrible morning sickness so much that she had to go to the ER multiple times for dehydration and was dizzy, so she would have to cancel her appointments because she couldn't drive.
And instead of trying to help her, they told her she couldn't come there anymore because she couldn't keep her appointments. Now she's without a doctor, trying to find one that will see her being 16 weeks pregnant. I will never recommend anyone to go to this place.

I've seen Dr. Nelson here for several years, and she is wonderful. Her nurse is as well. I do like the fact that I can get my mammogram and annual checkup done during the same visit. My reason for only two stars is this: THE RADIOLOGY TECHS NEED TO CALL PATIENTS WHO HAVE SUSPICIOUS AREAS ON THEIR MAMMOGRAMS THAT NEED ADDITIONAL IMAGING! I hadn't heard anything from my mammogram results after a couple of weeks, so I called WHS to see if they'd gotten my radiology report.
When I called to check on it, I was told 'we have a month to send you the results'. The tech I spoke with checked and said that my report showed two suspicious areas that needed additional screening. She quickly scheduled me for a diagnostic mammogram at Baptist Breast Center down the street. I was glad that she was able to schedule me very quickly for the additional screening.
As it turns out I actually do have Stage 0 breast cancer! Thank god that I called and found out about the suspicious areas and was able to get into Baptist very quickly. Whomever is in charge of the radiology department at this clinic needs to make sure that the techs MAKE A PHONE CALL to any patient who's mammogram shows areas that need additional screening!
Why on earth would you not take the time to make a phone call to patients who's reports show a need for additional screening?! It's fine to send a letter to patients with nothing abnormal on their mammograms. But, if there are suspicious findings on a mammogram, YOU NEED TO CALL TO THAT PATIENT! I do realize that 80% or so of suspicious findings are not serious, but for the 20% of us who actually have breast cancer, time is critical to getting biopsied and moving forward with a treatment plan.
The radiology techs here are great.very professional. This is a policy issue that needs to change IMMEDIATELY. Although I really like Dr. Nelson, I may not return here due to the lackadaisical approach to notifying patients who's mammogram results require additional screening. If I knew who was in charge of radiology here, I would direct my comment to that individual.
I sincerely hope that this policy will be changed before I have to return next year. Ladies, before your mammogram appointment, be sure and ask the clinic how they notify patients with abnormalities on their mammograms. If they say they just send a letter a few weeks later, FIND ANOTHER CLINIC!

After having a miscarriage, I couldn't go back to my old doctor. So glad I found Dr. Nelson at WHS! She so patient with me and answers all my questions. My nurse Kailania is always great too, they make me feel comfortable and always reassure me every time I feel anxious or scared. I can say they truly care about their patients.

The front desk people are terrible! How can they even keep their jobs. To make my first patient appointment the from the desk lady was super rude! Several weeks later they call me staying that they don't even know how I got booked with DR. Givens because she is not even taking new patients! By now I am 9 weeks pregnant and they pushed behind my prenatal health care by weeks due to me having to seek a new doctor and getting a another appointment. So unprofessional!

Extremely professional staff. Dr. Stovall is so funny. He really eases your mind about whatever problem you may be experiencing. I have referred so many friends to him and they love him also. Dr. Vanessa Givens saw my 17 year old and she was so warm and caring. She really took the fear out of my daughter's first GYN visit. I would not want to go anywhere else for my gynecological needs.

Love Dr. Givens. We laugh, talk and also take care of business but I feel like she have my health at her best interest. Any questions I have she answer. I never leave feeling like my appointment was rushed or as if she didn't have enough time for me. The office staff is friendly. The ultrasound techs are good and very professional. I JUST LOVE THIS OFFICE.
