Services

This is a full-time position, M-F 8-5. The Surgery Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Surgery Scheduling Department with scheduling or rescheduling surgeries, as well as maintaining organization of patient charts.
The Eye Clinic has been working with optometrists, physicians and other providers in West Tennessee for more than 50 years. Our ophthalmologists work closely with you when you refer a patient for a consultation or surgery. In the contact us form, below, please give us information about your patient and how we can help.
The Physicians Surgery Center offers comfortable surroundings and an excellent team of providers for out-patient procedures and surgeries. It specializes in same-day surgical procedures that allow patients to recover at home. At the Physicians Surgery Center, your surgeon is supported by a highly skilled team of registered nurses and medical technicians specially trained in surgery and recovery care. Your Eye Clinic surgeon will explain your procedure and what you need to do to prepare for it.

I was lied to about my insurance for a annual checkup that it is no copay. I set this appointment about 2 months then I go in and even it was a $25 copay on visit but annual checkup was no pay before appointment I had a long talk with the bill personnel that they told me something different than the reception at the desk. I wasted 2 months of getting my eyes checked because of this incident.
I wouldn't tell no one to go here. If everybody keeps saying different things and not on the same page! I saw your answer and again wrong., You take my insurance but a copay of $25 for a specialist. I have been going here since 1992 (7 years old), I did move away for ten years, but came right back to the best eye are in Jackson. This is no frills kinda place, they focus on your care, your eye health, with no smoke and mirrors. They have a great staff, amazing optical shop, and extremely friendly Physicians. My daughter recently has some playground eye trauma, they worked her in ASAP and was so patient and caring to a scared 9y/o that wouldn't even open her eyes. From the time I walked in, to the time I left, I felt welcomed and was greeted with a smile and positivity from everyone. The staff introduced themselves, and walked me through the process, they are very personable. I was seen in a timely, professional manner. Quick and easy to get my appointment completed. Everyone is so nice; from the ladies at the front desk to the techs that prepped me. Dr. Hilary Grissom is just the best! During the exam and afterwards, she makes sure it is all about you. She listens to all questions and makes a game plan for your health. You never leave feeling like you were rushed or shortchanged. Just a great experience!

Great care by true professionals! While on the road in my motor home I managed to scrape my eye. I got an appointment the same day and they took very good care of me. The entire staff is excellent. They are totally professional while also being thoughtful and caring. Special thanks to Dr Bateman for fixing me up and Renee for care and follow up.
