Naper Grove Vision Care started when Floyd Mizener founded our practice 60 years ago in Downers Grove. John Sims joined shortly after that and helped grow the practice. Through word of mouth advertising and an exceptional work-ethic, the practice thrived on fitting glasses, contact lenses, and treating eye diseases.

For 60 years, the Naper Grove Doctors of Optometry have focused on personalized eye care services, state-of-the-art technology and continuing their professional education and training, while adhering to the highest standards of quality.
Dr. Giancola grew up in Downers Grove. She attended Downers Grove North High School, Illinois Benedictine College, and graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1990. While in Optometry school, she served for three years as the Head Resident Assistant in the dorms, Trust to the American Optometry Student Association, Treasurer in the Gold Key Honor Society and was inducted into Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities.

It was my first time at Naper Grove Vision Care. I went in for an eye exam and was very pleased by the knowledge and customer service of all the doctors and staff there. When I had any questions the staff was always super nice & polite. And when I was choosing frames they took into account my likes, dislikes, and was very patient despite my indecisiveness. Overall, would recommend.
