Life CHANGING! Positive & Convenient health-care. The Center for Manuel Medicine has helped me more in the last few months than any other doctor ever! It's very convenient in that there is an orthopedic Dr, a chiropractor, and Physical therapy practice all in one! Genius idea! Dr. Frye was very thorough in his evaluation. He admitted spending an hour and a half looking over my health history!

He used pain-targeting testing techniques and more quality time with me than I have ever experienced! He was able to pinpoint my pain and treat only that area. He doesn't just guess where the pain is and shoot blindly like others. Dr. Frye is so caring and gentle when he treats my carpal tunnel and shoulders. Dr. Steffen is an amazing Chiropractor and person!

She has helped me so much with her intelligent evaluation and digs into health issues until she figures it out! She also gets all the really stubborn pops out and adjusts perfectly to how I feel that particular day! Courtney, the physical therapist I've seen, is like no other I've ever been to. Also, very intelligent and pin-points the key areas to work on and knows exactly how to modify, if a exercise is too painful or not enough stretch!

Watch this place.it's starting a whole new way of doing health care! They will be around for a long time and they deserve a nice new shiny building to help them expand and grow! Since this place can help an "oddball" like me.they can help anyone! Very impressed!

On my first visit I saw Dr. Frye and in my mind I thought we would be discussing regenerative therapy. However, after a thorough evaluation Dr. Frye recommended physical therapy to correct some mechanical issues that were contributing to my chronic knee pain. At first I was disappointed, but little did I know how beneficial PT would be. Dr. Courtney Simon is amazing!

She is so knowledgeable and truly listened to my concerns. After a few sessions and time to practice the assigned exercses, I started feeling stronger and my pain began to decrease. At one session Dr. Simon was observing the way I walked and said, "I have an idea!" We made a couple more changes, added a couple different exercises, and now I can confidently say that I'm feeling so much better.

I'm no longer limping, I am able to work out at the gym comfortably, and even walk on the treadmill again. I can't fail to mention Seth also. He recommended some orthotics for me that also gave me tremendous relief, almost immediately. My only regret is that I waited so long to call! Huge thank you to the entire staff for helping me get a big part of my health and life back!

Dr. Dani Steffen is amazing at her profession. She will go above and beyond to ensure you are pleased with your results. Dr. Steffen has seen both my husband and I and we are both pleased. She even helped with an issue that didn't involve any adjustments, which just shows how she treats the whole patient and not just chiropractic related issues. If you're looking for help, call Dr. Dani Steffen!

Dr. Steffen is fantastic! She listened to exactly what my issues were, provided a detailed care plan and fixed my problems quickly. Her adjustments are gentle but still effective. She always goes above and beyond with her care. Highly recommend Dr. Steffen!

Dr. Steffen is amazing - I had relief after my first session and look forward to my second. She consulted with me to discuss my issues such as being 4-months postpartum, lack of sleep affecting my body, and all the issues that come with it. She explained and demonstrated what I could do at home to continue healing and work on my back and neck pain. Doubly an incredible experience that she allowed my infant son to come to the appointment as well as be a part of my healing as there's no getting away from the physicality that comes with parenting. I look forward to continuing my journey!

Dr. Steffen, the chiropractor, always adjusts me well. At first I was nervous for my neck to be treated but she walked me through the process, made me feel comfortable, and took her time. 12/10 recommend.

I have been going to the center for manual medicine for about a decade now. I'll never go anywhere else. The staff are incredible, I have been there for chiropractor adjustments and physical therapy. I haven't used massage or their other services yet, but I can't imagine that they anything but perfect. They always remember who I am, and do everything they can to help with my pain management. I haven't gone to anywhere else that takes care of me like they do. They were even kind enough to send me a sympathy card when my husband passed away.

Great place! Wonderful staff! Here is our experience- Just over one year ago my daughter Sophia was suffering from chronic Achilles pain-this was making it very difficult for her to dance, even just walking, running, and jumping-the things kids do normally every day, were causing her pain. She first tried rest, along with some physical therapy and nerve block shots weekly.

That was to no avail, unfortunately. It was determined that she had several minor tears in both her tendons and her options were limited-she could quit dancing OR she could try regenerative medicine. Quitting was NEVER an option for her. Sophia was determined to do whatever it took to dance again. The day after her spring recital she hung up her pointe shoes and got to work.

We had an appointment at The Center for Regenerative Medicine for Sophia to receive PRP and PPP injections. This is a process where they take your own blood, spin it to separate your red blood cells and plasma and inject that directly back into the injury. Over all Sophia had 90 some injections that day. And she was sent home to rest for several weeks.

That meant no running, jumping, hiking, and specifically NO DANCING. She then began rigorous physical therapy 3 days a week for 3 months. With each week she found she had less and less pain. After 3 months Sophia leaped back into ballet-literally. I was nervous to say the least, expecting her chronic pain to return-each class I worried I'd get a call that she was in pain again.

That call never came. Sophia was back to 6 days a week, several hours a day of doing what she loves the most in this world-DANCING! She's had an amazing year, performing in The Nutcracker, competing at the Youth Grande Prix in Kansas City, The Regional Dance Association Festival in Lawrence, and coming up on her one-year anniversary of her procedure-she will have her ballet school's yearly recital.

We are so grateful to Dr. Frye, and the PT staff at The Center for Regenerative Medicine, for all you did to help our dancer get back on her feet. Because quitting was never an option. Thank you!

Testimonial "After visiting many different doctors without finding relief from a chronic pain problem, I heard about Dr. Douglas Frye, MD. I was at the point of giving up and accepting my limitations when I made my first appointment with Dr. Frye. I decided to try just one more doctor, even though I had been to several doctors for the same problem without a good diagnosis or relief. Dr. Frye took the time to fully examine and diagnose my condition, and didn't stop there.

He set forth a treatment plan with his office and contacted other specialists when there was a need for additional testing. Unlike other doctors, Dr. Frye promptly requested results of all testing for his review and consideration, contacting me to discuss the results, and adjusted my treatment plan accordingly. I felt as if Dr. Frye was leading my team of specialists, and he was truly helping me find an answer - finally.

He took my problem as a challenge and didn't just pass me on to the next doctor. That, along with his excellent 'bedside manner', helps make me very comfortable explaining concerns to him. Even though my condition is a difficult one, he didn't just offer pills or band-aid approaches to my problem. He stuck with me, leading the team of specialists and physical therapists he assembled, until we were able to begin healing my condition.

The physical therapy department at the Center for Manual Medicine is the most impressive I have ever seen. They not only have all of the equipment they could possibly need, but Dr. Frye has assembled a team of Physical Therapists who are exceptional at their jobs. They were obviously very well trained, patient and thorough, making sure that I knew what exercises to do between appointments to help with the progress of healing.

They are very good at fully explaining not only what exercises to do, but why I should do them, and how they help. That was more helpful for me than someone just saying to just do one exercise or another. I feel quite passionate about recommending Dr. Frye and his team of professionals for what they do, how they do it, and how patient they have been with me.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Frye if you have a painful condition that is diminishing your quality of life. " Life is too short to waste any of it dealing with pain! Call Dr. Frye! - N I
