Just called to make an appointment and instead of inquiring about the need and the like, began with an entire list of questions on insurance. Required all this to be completed prior to even looking at the schedule and/or discussing the need. Have seen Dr. Dinsdale in the past who is awesome but the staff STINK!

He accurately detailed the treatment (radiation and chemotherapy), what I would go through (you will be terrible for five months, but you can do it), and assured me that my medical team will be there for me (they were). He offered me the best advise (keep swallowing no matter what), which I did religiously. For the past five years, his follow-up care has been comprehensive and sympathetic. He's the greatest!

Most of the receptionists have zero grasp on good customer service both in person and over the phone; or at least their rude and annoyed tones give me that impression. The first appointment I had, the doctor talked to me in such a way that made me feel so incredibly small and stupid. He told me my tonsils would never be healthy again, which seems like a strange thing to say to a patient (and also wasn't true). Overall, dealing with Lawrence Otolaryngology Associates has been a nightmare and I'll just drive out to Topeka if I ever need help with my tonsils again.

Over booked, waited 2 weeks for appointment, then another 30 minutes after scheduled appointment time once there. The doctor left me alone in exam room with no explanation for another 15 minutes. Brushed off my complaints of a persistent sinus infection that had already lasted for weeks. Said come back later. Am now under the care of a real specialist who knows how to treat my bacterial sinus infection with drugs. I spent less time at his office and received an exam, hearing test and CT scan.

Dr. Reussner and Dr. Cannady are amazingly kind and knowledgeable. I can confidently say Dr. Reussner is a top-notch M.D.! Dr. Reussner took the time to assess my previous medical testing rather than just toss it aside and start from scratch. Prior to going to LOA I asked neighbors on the Nextdoor website for ENT recommendations, and more than one person suggested Dr. Reussner.
They could not have been more right! I have never had two doctors meet with me simultaneously until my experience at LOA. Dr. Cannady is the absolute best at explaining things, and she has an incredibly calming presence. I have spent years trying to get a diagnosis. I finally received a diagnosis from LOA. The doctors give you their time, listen attentively, act like they genuinely care, and provide you time to ask questions. Based on my diagnosis, I will be returning for additional visits, but so far my experience has been extremely positive-- including with the administrative staff. I look forward to continuing my medical journey with Dr. Reussner and Dr. Cannady. Five stars and high fives to LOA!

Saw "Dr" Segebrecht. I went in because I had been having a week of ear pressure pain, constant cracking and had formed a loud ringing over the previous couple days. Was the worst medical experience of my 40 years. He made absolutely no attempt to diagnose my problem. He spoke with me for less than 5 minutes, sent me for an unnecessary hearing test to run up my bill, then flat out shrugged his shoulders and told me he had no idea and I should just get a white noise machine. I would consider this a near malpractice level of incompetence. He just needs to retire because he obviously is just there to sponge money.

We've seen Dr. Segebrecht for years for ear infections, deviated septums, snoring, hearing loss, tonsils, adenoids, & enlarged turbinates. Also seen docs at Children's mercy for ear infection tubes. Segebrecht is closer and the bill turnaround is faster. The wait is very short, the people are nice. He gives the option of prayer at the end of every visit.
He is thorough and so far everything he has done has been helpful. My hubby isn't convinced his septoplasty cleared his nasal passages but mine definitely did. I had 90% blockage and had thus never experienced a deep breath through my nose. Had to breath deep through my mouth only. It's still a new and pleasant gift. The nurses aren't great at calling you back so you have to advocate for yourself a bit and call back.
Also be aware they charge for each procedure, each nasal exam, ear test, etc. Sometimes that's not clear. Ask questions. He's seen our family from age one to age 39. We will go back and reccomend him to others.

I was referred from my local ENT for advanced treatment of my vocal cords. Everyone from the administrative staff and the nurses, to Dr. Reussner were all excellent in the way they provided patient care. Not only were they knowledgeable in the area they worked, they also cared about the individual patient. The atmosphere was calm and professional. I believe I received the best care available and have already referred a friend to them.
