Horrible experience. If working relationships with Dr offices are not good, Dr talents are useless, hospital is a waste Showed up for surgery after five weeks waiting only to be humiliated and turned away. They had no idea how to process two separate insurances. Had NOT done the complete job of getting all information from Dr Baronne office for pre Authorization.
After talking to me on the phone a week before and I asked them if they had the insurance information and I was told they had everything under control. False. Nothing was done. Even had my wife on the phone with insurance company the morning of surgery because they hadn't done what was necessary. Do yourself a favor. If your willing to do all the work of filing insurance claims and getting approved and still paying premium prices- by all means use this facility and try your luck!
Bad management or horrible protocol implementation. Either way, the trust of them taking care of my health when they can't take care of insurance claims is questionable at best. After all this embarrassment, we were given an option of paying a cash price for the surgery because they had not done the job of pre authorization with my insurances. ( yes I have TWO!) One good team leader equals zero if you have bad protocols and lack of management.

Yesterday I had a gallbladder surgery done. I must say Phenomenal from the doctors to the nurses. Mrs Laura my nurse who was so sweet & patient I love it! There needs to be more nurses like her and my other nurse I'm not sure of his name but he was sweet also. And such a wonderful and cool Doctor. Dr Jacob Landry. Your the best! I love it! First time doing surgery I most say it was a great experience.
Thank you for making me feel better again Thank all of you for all of your hard work and taking the time out (during this pandemic) for taking care of patients like my self. Keep up the good work!

The nurses, doctors, and staff here are so nice! I was so nervous about my surgery but the nurses were so friendly and upbeat and they made the whole stay very comfortable! They took such good care of me in recovery as well. They were such good motivators and I feel like they made the whole journey so much easier!

This place was horrible as for discharge. Didn't fill rx all the way my husband had to call before ice storm to go get a different medi. For my pain after knee surgery. Meleena didn't go over everything correctly at the car loading me for discharge. Felt rushed out and no knowledge after being loopy from surgery . Nurse and Doctors excellent but after care for departure horrible.
Not enough meds in horrible pain. Total night mare. Said before I went there for surgery they would provide me with wheel chair and didn't and my insurance said they would cover it 100 % if doctor ordered it. I told hospital this and they said they would have everything for me and didn't not even enough medicine when they knew I live a hour away and couldn't be left alone. I have awesome insurance and was very disappointed with this hospital! Forced my husband to fill my prescriptions at their pharmacy and it was a horrible experience.

I recently had surgery here and was extremely pleased with everything from pre-admit to discharge. The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because there were two incidents that troubled me. One was that I inquired about receiving my discharge meds at pre-admit and was assured that their pharmacy would be able to ensure I had them prior to leaving. Well, because I was discharged on a Sunday I had to go to a local pharmacy instead to receive my meds because their pharmacy was closed.
My other issue was that there's always one employee that seems to be less pleasant and empathetic as others. One of my night nurses was more interested in making sure I walked that night, at that moment, more than being concerned about my pain level being a 9 on a 1-10 scale. My request was to receive pain meds first and allow them to take affect prior to walking.
She wasn't having it and made it known that the walk had to be done then and there and the meds would kick in while I was walking. She then had the audacity to press me to stand up straight while walking knowing my pain level. I was glad I had her once and will never want her to care for me again. The other staff members were compassionate, empathetic and accommodating.

I had a total hip replacement performed on February 13th of this year. Even though having surgery there's never a fun time, this was made easy. It Started from the pre-admission process. I had a wonderful nurse in the surgical prep area by the name of Sarah I am sure there are quite a few involved in my preparation and with the surgery other than the two doctors who I believe did a wonderful job. Attentiveness of the doctors and staff is outstanding.
My nurses Amber, Stephanie, Claudette and Erica were amazing. They had me up and walking the day of my surgery with the aid of a walker and I walk out of the hospital the next day for the ride home. If anyone is having surgery they need to consider this hospital as a first choice. The only problem I have leaving a review is I can only leave five stars.

If you need surgery this is the place for you! I just returned home from this hospital and they treated me promptly and professional. The nurses and the assistants are awesome! The rooms are like suites and very quiet. I was never in pain bc my wonderful nurses made sure that I was pain free. I love this place!
