Lancaster Orthopedic Group was started in 1985 by Dr. Wayne Conrad and Dr. J. Paul Lyet. With just two doctors and two employees in a small office in downtown Lancaster, adjacent to what is now Clipper Stadium, the group was born. In 1992, the practice moved its Lancaster office to its current location on Granite Run Drive.

I went to have my injured elbow examined on May 19. I was told 5 to 7 days to get an MRI. 12 days and two phone calls later my information was finally submitted to the insurance company. Now June 8 (3 weeks after my visit) I get a call saying my MRI has been denied because there was no x-ray even though I physically brought them the x-ray on disk from my family doctor.
I spoke with a supervisor today who blamed the fiasco on staffing issues. This firm has clearly lost their ability to provide quality care for their patients. If you have an injury or issue requiring treatment. I strongly suggest calling someone else.

I will still use LOG as my ortho provider because my past experience with them and some of the Doctors has been positive. However, the last 2 appts with the PA's and rad tech has been a negative experience. Because of their attitude towards me and lack of communication between the PA's and the exit registration desk. I had to ask several times and go back in to ask questions to clarify what the plan was for my care. I have a visit summary for the second visit but not the first. Over all I am disappointed with LOG.

My appointment at Granite Run LOG (4/11/22) went smooth. KELLY at check-in was pleasant and professional. My total check-in time was less than a minute. Thanks KELLY. I sat in the waiting area for a couple minutes and then SHAUNA called me in to the exam room. SHAUNA was very cordial and time considerate. Thanks SHAUNA for making me feel welcomed.
After only a few more minutes, LEN BERRY came in, greeted me and asked how I was. LEN took the time to listen to my concerns and discussed my options. LEN has given me multiple knee injections, and each time I could barely feel the needle. LEN is very exceptional. Thank you LEN for taking care of me.

The doctors here are good, but after the second time of being told to reschedule a follow-up appointment, I decided it is not worth going back. I understand that scheduling surgeries after Covid is important, but apparently out-patient visits are not very high on the totem pole (maybe because the pay is not as great as a surgery!) My schedule and time is important, too, and to have to repeatedly reschedule an appointment for which I had to shift my own schedule to accommodate is not acceptable. I am not going back.

Dr. Keener fixed my broken finger then later did an ulnar nerve release. I loved the way he doesn't push you into anything. Everything was absolutely painless and he's very patient. I have absolute confidence in him and my experience with everyone from the receptionist, nurses, check out and PT were beyond what I would've expected.

I have seen Craig Lehman, PA-C multiple times through LOG's Urgent Care. He was always so gentle and truly showed that he cared about my Health Issues that he was addressing. I also wanted to commend Christopher Martin, DPT for ALWAYS showing so much Empathy and proving that he actually CARES about the issue(s) that he's treating you for! I highly recommend this Group to EVERYONE! All of their Providers are PHENOMENAL!

I had to come to this facility after multiple unproductive visits to the other orthopedic facility in Lancaster. The staff was extremely helpful. They heard me out fully to gain a comprehensive understanding of my injury. They prioritized my case based on pain levels and based on the fact that the other facility failed to properly diagnose the issue and provide constructive means for relief + improvement.
They got me scheduled for an MRI to address the root cause of my pain as well, which dispelled much anxiety. They followed up with me after my appointments to give me advice on how to heal properly.
