I called ahead, walked in 2 minutes after my appointment window because I had to pay to park and could not see Dr. Lynch. I stressed I just needed a medication refill and was turned down. If you want a doctor that will work with you this is not the place. Wonder why America's healthcare system is joke. Reception was very nice though.

I failed to pay my co-payment on my first visit after scrambling to find a new physician (my doctor left my whole family). I offered to pay it on my second visit but there was no easy way to pay for a past visit at the desk, so the receptionist said I would be billed. "ok" i said. That was many months ago. NOw, I have a COLLECTION LETTER over a $ 25.00 copay, that has been sitting in my demented mother-in-laws desk drawer (she pulled it out of the mailbox and took it- I work seeing COVID pts during the day).
Now Im facing collections over a co-pay? Is that the rapport Elmhurst wishes to establish? I think that it is unnecessary to treat patients in a manner that raises their blood pressure. I think that the policies of Elmhurst Memorial (divulging my private name and number to an "affiliated" medical institution- DuPage), warning the caller on a Saturday afternoon that "due to high call volumes, we may have to close phone lines early" paint a picture of an institution that regards the patient as a ubiquitous resource (I'm speaking about the business office of course).
The rabid efficiency of this healthcare system aggressively dictates my powerlessness in confronting the medical-legal complex. And IM NOT EVEN SICK. What about the people who are desperate? Where can people go to get healing and compassion, not financial microaggression? My complaints to administration though met with responses quick and sure, ended in a request that I talk to the "patient experience" representative if I have any more issues.
To a healthcare professional who has seen a lot of hurt and pain, this euphemism for COMPLAINT Dept. smacks of insincerity and placation (I believe another reviewer, a nurse, referred to the feeling of "condescension"). So the follow up today is that I decided to bail and cancelled my appt with the wonderful Dr. Hutton. Would you believe they wouldn't even take my cancellation call unless I verified my insurance FIRST.
I'm a healthcare provider for 30 years and I have a PhD in psych. Given the insults I've described, tell me what sane person is going to allow themselves to be treated like a cash vending machine?

Very very bad experience. My doctor ordered me a lab there and I also scheduled from online system but when I go there, they just said there is no order and let me call the doctor. After I call the doctor office they confirmed order but they still let me just go home. People are just rude, maybe she has a bad day, but this is still unpleasant to kick patient home.

As a nurse, this is the first time (and hopefully the last time) I have to experience condescending nurses. Then after I pay in full in cash because if you do not have insurance that is your only option for receiving healthcare. These thieves have the nerve to send me a bill (seven months later) for twice the amount that I paid in cash. When their own policy states all services in cash are paid in full at the time of service. Go to Oak Park hospital instead of this doomed facility of theft and arrogant nurses.

DR'S. Michelle Conroy and Robert Anderson are the worst Drs. I have seen in my 24 years as a parent. I've taken my 3rd eldest to the Lombard office on many occasions with the same symptoms. Get an allergy test they say, which came back negative. (not to mention the total lack of concern over my youngest not talking when he was 2, only to have him diagnosed with a learning disability a year later by the schools).
I take my son to a new Dr out of Good Samaritan ONCE, and we have answers. My second eldest came with me to our last appointment with Dr. Anderson, and she said I've never heard a Dr talk to someone so condescendingly. They also screwed up their immunization records, and luckily that was caught by the new office. Im so very happy we left that office, and I can stop missing work and he school for something that could have been taken care of a long time ago. I give them Zero stars!

I scheduled a physical at the Elmhurst clinic because I wanted to get it done quickly and they had available docs and a lab on premise. The physical was fine, doctor was reasonably on time. My only issue is that is has been impossible to get a hold of anyone to get my results. Every time I call, Im put on hold. There is no way to transfer me directly to the docs office.
So I've called and left 4 messages now and will be awaiting my results in snail mail, I guess. As much as I thought the doc was fine, I won't be back. I can't imagine how distressed I would be if there was really something wrong and I couldn't get ahold of a doctor or nurse.
