Iowa Radiology was formed in 2001 by a group of local doctors who wanted to focus on the personal side of radiology as well as the technical side. We created a patient-centered practice that promotes a more compassionate approach to medicine. We always explain procedures before they are performed, and we invite questions.
At Iowa Radiology, we offer a full array of diagnostic and interventional imaging services, including MRI, CAT scan, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and general X-ray. Our full service, state-of-the-art outpatient imaging centers provide you and your loved ones the best medical expertise and technology in a convenient, comfortable setting. All radiologists are board certified and all equipment is American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited.
Body composition analysis (BCA) uses x-rays or Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) to measure body weight in terms of bone, lean mass and fat mass. It can help determine weight management plans or training programs to help you meet your health goals. This scan is helpful for people in weight management programs as well as those in training or in rehabilitation from an injury.
A cardiac calcium CT scan is a simple, safe and noninvasive test used to obtain information about the location and extent of calcified plaque in the coronary arteries the vessels that supply oxygen-containing blood to the heart. CT cardiac calcium scoring is one of the most advanced methods to detect heart disease in its earliest stages.

Megan, who performed my brain MRI was beyond GREAT! She was kind, caring, sensitive and responsive to my being very anxious about the procedure. Excellent communication skills, Megan was SUPER! I can't say enough good things about my experience. The front desk folks were kind as well. I highly recommend Iowa Radiology in Clive!

I had a great experience at the Iowa Radiology Clive location. The front desk staff were very nice and got me checked in quickly. Mary was my tech and she was very knowledgeable about the entire MRI process. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She explained the MRI process in a way I could easily understand. She also checked in with me periodically throughout the scan to make sure I was comfortable. I will definitely go back to Iowa Radiology with any future needs. I highly recommend utilizing their services.

Appointments are easy to make by phone and about a 2wk lead time to accommodate my time schedule. Front staff kind and efficient. Easy to access. Flat parking lot right at the door. Technician came to me so I didn't have contact with any other patients in community waiting. We scooted through screening with remarkable time. No contact checkout so less time in congested area. Just a well oiled machine of kind, efficient medical staff.

I've been going to Iowa Radiology-Clive for the last 10 years and what I really appreciate is the continued consistency in the care that they give patients. There is a receptionist whose name I don't know but she is black and usually occupies the first seat as you come into the clinic, This woman is always cheerful and greets patients with a smile and is a total professional.
As you leave the clinic, she always has a cheerful "good-bye, have a nice day". All in all, Iowa Radiology-Clive is my go-to clinic for all my diagnostic testing. Thanks again to everyone. A shout-out to Jennifer, the tech that did my mammogram.another caring profesional.

The nurses and staff were wonderful and very helpful. They were compassionate and attentive to all of my needs. While I was In the MRI tube and my daughter was holding my hand she had to leave to tend to her business and one of the nurses took her place and held my hand. I can not thank you enough for the great job that all of are doing there. God bless all of you. Keep up the good work!

Check in for an MRI was quick and easy, the tech came out 2minutes later. I am a bit claustrophobic, the tech explained how long each picture would take said that I would have a panic button even showed me how quickly they would respond. He played soft instrumental music which was very relaxing for me. I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the tech.

Scheduling a convenient time was easy. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Technician was amazing. Explained everything, made sure I was physically comfortable (some physical issues so getting me comfortable enough to lay still during the MRI took some work), made sure I was mentally comfortable with the set up, and checked on me repeatedly.
The machines there are a little larger than the other ones I've been in so this was much less claustrophobic than my other ones. I would rate them higher than 5 stars if I could.

My company uses a service to help find the last expensive option for procedures. Not only did using Iowa Radiology save me close to $2000 out of pocket, but they were great people to work with. I am not a big fan of MRIs but they were understanding and checked on me constantly to make sure I was okay. I believe Janessa was my tech & she was very kind and great to work with. I will be recommending Iowa Radiology to ask those who listen. Thank you for such a great experience.
