There are a variety of reasons why you may need to see a foot & ankle doctor. The musculoskeletal system of the feet, ankles, and lower legs involve many different parts that have to work together in unison to create smooth and pain-free movement. If any of these parts are not functioning properly, the whole system can suffer!
If you have never been to a podiatrist before, you may be nervous about your upcoming visit. Don't be! Millions of people see podiatrists every year for help with their feet, ankles, and lower legs. Did you know the average person takes about 10,000 steps every day? That is a lot of stress on your feet!
Are you tired of dealing with pesky warts? We at Foot & Ankle Center of Ohio are very excited to announce that we have a brand new and effective treatment for surface based skin lesions, primarily warts. Unlike other types of warts, plantar warts are typically quite painful as the pressure from walking and standing forces them to grow into your skin.
Did you know the average person takes about 10,000 steps every day? That is a lot of stress on your feet and ankles! When you consider the array of surfaces and inclines that people walk on, you can imagine why foot problems are a common complaint among us all. Excellent service all around. I am a specialist in customer service, they try to do it all and succeed, which in this day and age is almost impossible. Front office staff is outstanding and knowledgeable and always willing to help. The assistant's are very knowledgeable as well and very helpful. Doctors Wunning and Fascione are very kind and patient.
Their schooling and willingness to think outside the box is impressive to me. Although I myself can be a "Pain in the butt" at times, Dr. Fascione still greets me with a smile behind her mask of course when I bet she wants to knock me out with a walking boot. Would HIGHLY recommend this office.

I am livid! Everytime I left an appointment there, I stopped at the front desk and said I owe you a co-pay, etc. Oh NO. We'll bill the insurance company and send you a bill for anything they don't pay. They did call later and say I owned $45 for the visit. I sent the payment immediately. Heard nothing else from them. NOW I get a letter from a collection agency for the full $350 and its over due!
Upon checking with our insurance carried I find the Dr. office did not fill out the paper correctly so the claim was denied. AND I was never notified. Is this the normal way of "billing" a client? Thru a collection agency? Needless to say, I will not go there for orthotics again. Never had this problem with Dr. Ransom.

My husband went for diagnosis of fungus in toe nails which we knew, but they took pieces of nail sent out to lab took over 3 weeks to get results, they did a lousy job trimming and "ewww I'm not touching that one" that needed filing badly! He was in pain from certain nails rubbing on work shoes, after a $50 Co pay he left so disappointed! Then I had to call twice about the results, not there yet, then make another appt to follow up for results, another Co pay, filing again and a perscription for a paint on fungus medicine, insurance rejected it doctor was to follow-up and submit certain requirements to get the perscription, here we are still waiting weeks later and nothing, definitely not going back there, waste of our money! Just because people have insurance don't mean they can afford multiple office visits for the same issue, it's all about the money, not about the patient well being anymore!

Dr. Jack came to Glendora Nursing Home and worked on my mother and who didn't have my permission to work on her in the first place and also my mother did not want him to touch her toes and is supposed to check the care plan of patients before doing any procedures. I will be notifiying the Attorney Generals Office and other agencies and the insurance company as well. You cannot go around and work on people who do not want your services esp people with disabilities.

After the first day of track practice last year, my daughter experienced pain in her foot to the point of tears. She couldn't finish practice. She was scared. Dr. Wunning made the time to see her that same day. He showed compassion, calm, and after a thorough exam including x-rays, gave her answers including a plan for recovery that she (and I) needed. Thanks, Dr Wunning, you went above and beyond anything I would have expected.
