When Dr. Jack Shohet founded Shohet Ear Associates over 15 years ago in Newport Beach, his number one goal was patient satisfaction and continuous care and support. Florical is being prescribed for the treatment of otosclerosis. This treatment is not widely accepted, and has not been proven to be effective. A large uncontrolled study of about 1500 patients by Dr. Shambaugh and associates suggested that it was effective. Although this medication is not a cure, it is thought to have some benefit in slowing the progression of the disease.

Unbelievable this dr. My story prior to seeing dr shohet: For 8 months I had an ear issue in one ear &hopping from one specialist to the next searching for a thread of knowledge behind my ear issue and all I got were surface answers and allot of " I don't know what that is " to "you need surgery ". Being on the hunt I learned about dr shohets reputation -and I went. Resolved my issue in one visit and my temporary hearing discounted in one ear -is gone. Dr shohet is an expert. He never said " I don't know". The feeling of having my ear issue resolved was unexpected and I feel % now.
