The Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine in Orange County is an independent, full service fertility clinic. Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine specializes in the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrine disorders and miscarriage. Our Newport Beach office has been open since 1992.
Prior to this consultation, your doctor will have reviewed the results of tests and fertility treatment at the referring physician. We will take a complete medical history and answer any questions regarding past treatment. Our team will also complete a physical examination and pelvic ultrasound. After completing the initial evaluation, your doctor will create an individualized treatment plan. He will take into account the results of all tests and factors like the woman's age and duration of infertility.
If you're considering IVF to help you start or grow your family, consider making an appointment with our Orange County fertility specialists. We are known for our expertise, compassion and ability to provide affordable in vitro fertilization options. We also use genetic testing with IVF to help couples have a healthy baby without the worry of a pregnancy with multiples.

Dr. Anderson and staff are amazing. After just 1 round of IVF with a highly personalized treatment and I have a baby boy after I tried for 2 years. They are all professionals and do their job well without any hype, or fluff but everyone on his staff was super nice and made me very confident and comfortable. This is what I wanted as it's an emotional process as it is.
I liked having him and the nurses as my rock to handle my endless questions and information seeking. I had 2 other consults in OC and could not seem to find this level of professionalism elsewhere. I know two other people who had success here as well.

Dr. A is absolutely amazing. He was highly referred by 3 different Urologists in 3 different regions of SoCal, all unaffiliated. It was a long road and difficult IVF journey, but thanks to him we have our beautiful daughter and in the coming months will be working on baby #2 with him. Honestly, the man is brilliant and I can't understand how someone can't see that just from meeting him.

Dr Anderson is THE miracle doctor! I have a tough case and the doctors that I saw before him gave me little hope, but he never gave up on helping us build our dream family and we have now had two successful pregnancies thanks to Dr Anderson and his wonderful team! He is professional indeed and what I appreciate is that he is honest, he gives hope without sugar coating things.
His personable side comes out once things move along and we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience with him. He is a leader in the industry and I love that I can trust what he says and never feel like I need to myself crazy researching other protocols or information. His staff is absolutely wonderful, they are warm, thorough and genuinely caring. I have recommended several friends to Dr Anderson and they all have had success, and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Anderson worked with my wife and I, using personal phone calls - invites to keep an eye on my wife's progress and walked us through every step of the way. Yes he is not the most touchy/feely/warm fellow, but he knows what he's doing and my wife is pregnant after 5 failed IVF's (4 from one center, 1 from another) (she's 42 by the way, I'm 40. It's not about bedside manner, it's about knowing the profession and giving women who want children the gift of being pregnant.
I am giving him 5 stars absolutely. His office has yet to make ONE mistake and his staff is extremely kind and available 7 days a week, from 6:30am. We have been around the block with other facilities, and this is HUGE. The facility is clean, the staff are well trained, and Dr Anderson is great at what he does (honestly, my wife and I think he is very kind and nice) I really wonder about these other reviews, if they are written in spite/anger, or actual thought of how his office works. Michelle--> 1 star? most of your reviews are 1 star?

So what is interesting is that people who don't find Dr. Anderson to be cuddly and fluffy and oversensitive call him names and give him bad review. He is a professional. He says how it is without mambo jumbo staff. I have been on this journey for more than a decade and met different doctors who appear to be softer but give up on you right away offering donor eggs and donor embryos because of age.
Nothing wrong with these at all, except that at least give me a chance which Dr. Anderson did give. Very blessed to end up in his office no matter what the outcome. 5 stars for professionalism and expertise. That also goes for SCCRM office 5 stars for nurses and staff. Where else do you find office open at 6:30 during week days and seven days a week! Nurses and staff are very good with paperwork and instructions. I absolutely recommend SCCRM - if you are looking for great experienced doctor who knows his field back and forth and if you are not overly sensitive.

Dr. Anderson is an ABSOLUTE CREEP. This man should NOT be an OBGYN. When he went through the questions with me he was rude and cold. When we got into the exam room, he exposed my breasts in order to check them while there were other people. I've NEVER had that happen before. Every doctor who has done this before has done it inside of my gown and even when exposure has happened, there wasn't anyone else in the room.
During the pelvic exam he inserted the speculum into me without any warning. When I was startled he asked something along the lines of "What does that hurts? It's not supposed to" and when I told him that I'm not very good with pelvic exams and usually have the OBGYN kindly walk me through it he just told me I was making it worse by tensing up. I definitely can't help but tense up, and I'm quite aware that tensing up makes it worse, but it's not like I can really help it.
This man is unsympathetic and simply terrible at his job. How this man still has a career is beyond me. There's not much nice to say about his staff either. I was in contact with Joyce who also was never very friendly over email correspondence. At the clinic there were a few nurses who kept getting confused about where I was supposed to be and what I was supposed to do. Also, there was a nurse who took my blood and forgot to take the last vial.
During the blood taking process, she also questioned my career choices for being in a "man's field." Overall an awful experience. Please for the love of God put these people out of business.

Disaster! I am an intended parent and my surrogate came here for monitoring on three occasions. They failed to give the ultrasound results on three consecutive visits in the manner requested by my fertility clinic. When I confronted the practice administrator Annamarie, she did some research and told me she was "shocked" at how poorly her own staff had performed.
Nonetheless she insisted on full payment for all three visits! When I argued that I should not be charged for such poor service, she called my surrogacy agency and badmouthed me, making me seem like a deadbeat! Worst of all, the embryo transfer failed! Thereafter, I insisted my surrogate go elsewhere even though it was inconvenient for her. Annamarie, I feel SCCRM should refund my money for such incompetent service! (About $1,400.00 for three visits!)
