My initial visit with Dr. Clifford Levy to review my MRI of my lower back was a great experience. He looked at my MRI and explained what was causing my pain. L4 L5 compressed causing the nerve to be pinched. He discussed 3 options and I chose the third option which was surgery. He felt my pain and agreed that was the best option for the pain relief. Dr. Levy was able to schedule my surgery two days later.
The surgery went great and now I am on my way to recovery. Dr Levy's nursing team was very helpful in getting the procedure done. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Levy and his staff for pleasant experience in helping me feel better.

Avoid unless you need pills because this place loves to write prescriptions. My regular Podiatrist at Dartmouth was unavailable so instead I gave Concord Ortho a shot. Over a series of 4 visits I saw Dr. Resnick and Dr. Shirley who were both mystified by my Plantar Fascitis and Peronial Tendonitis issues. They twice prescribed me gout medication even though those pills did nothing to alleviate my issue and I mentioned to them countless times that my issue felt unlike any gout attack I've ever had.
I mean, it lasted weeks and the type of pain was inconsistent with any gout flare I've ever had. For 5 weeks, they pushed pills and kept telling me to come back and re-evaluate things every two weeks. I asked for PT, they told me I needed to take the pills first. Finally. my regular Dr. at Dartmouth was available. She said, yeah, it's not gout stop taking those pills, what you have is tendonitis.
She then wrote me a Physical Therapy recommendation within my network and I've been on the road to recovery. Concord Orthopedics is great if you want to be prescribed pills. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who needs actual results.

Efficient, professional, outstanding outcome for my hip replacement. This is a terrific medical practice. After 40 years of practicing martial arts my hip and seemingly my knee and ankle joints were just worn out. The hip was the worst. I had been dreading having to get a hip replacement but they made the entire process easy, and the outcome was awesome. My new hip functions perfectly. And a bonus, getting the hip replaced has alleviated pain in my back, knees and ankles. I feel like a new man. These guys are the best!

Dr. Desmarais did a fantastic job replacing my hip. He gave me good info on the front end with excellent follow up. I'm a very active guy involved in martial arts and strength sports and I believe he provided me the best treatment I could ask for. I just went back to the gym today four weeks post op. Highly recommend!

Dr Wylie was my surgeon for knee replacement last year. I appreciated his knowledgeable, straightforward and open approach to telling me what to expect and how my actions would impact the success of the surgery. I felt I went into a scary procedure (for me) informed and in good hands. The professionalism and empathy of the staff also improved the experience for me.
The completion of the surgery did not terminate the care or my ability to seek guidance. My appointment this week marked a year with a replaced knee. I would highly recommend Dr Wylie for consideration as your surgeon. He does not disappoint

Concord Orthopaedics is the best. Having been treated by 3 of the many Dr's there, I wouldn't go anywhere else. This practice is the most organized and efficient. The staff are professional and well trained. The best part is Dr Casey. He is a gentle, caring Doctor. I feel fortunate to be a patient at Concord Ortho. Thank you all!

Dr. O'Connor has been treating me for roughly 11 years through some complicated injuries I received at work. His compassion and professionalism is by far the best. He willingness to listen and to explain treatment possibilities are second to none. He and Concord Orthopedics will be my choice for life. Thank you Dr. O'Connor & COPA BOB TEMPLE

I have seen Dr Steve Fox at Concord Orthopedics since 2004. I knew I was in need of a total knee replacement but was afraid of having it done as I was only 52. I asked a friend who was a Dr at Concord Emergency room he recommended Dr Fox's. So in 2005 I had a total knee replacement with Dr Fox reassuring me. Being honest he said you have be all in with your rehab and push yourself and I did.
In two months I was back at work light duty. I just saw Dr Fox this week for X-rays to see how the knee is doing. I'm happy to say 16 1/2 years later and all looks good. Dr Fox changed my life I couldn't walk around my neighborhood with out taking a break I was always in pain. Now at 68 and retired we are heading to Utah for the winter to continue our love of skiing. Thank you Dr Fox for changing my life. David Bennett

I have had multiple knee surgeries since 2009 along with multiple doctors. Dr. Higgins is definitely my favorite doctor yet. Originally he was my 15 year old son's doctor and because of his kindness, compassion and sense if wisdom, I knew I wanted him for my next surgery. As a parent it is difficult to have your child in need of surgery but doctor Higgins called me and kept me up to date throughout the whole process.
That in itself spoke so much about him. Usually doctors have their nurses call you as they are so busy. For him to take the time to call me and explain things in such detail meant the world to this worried mom! Then when it came time for me, he didn't hesitate to take me on as a patient and I was in for my MRI a week later and Surgery within that month.
I found that out of all my surgeries this one was the most painless as I was up and walking right away. I had this same exact surgery on the same exact knee 2 years prior and I did not have the same results. When I had complications with anesthesia I could see in his eyes that he actually cared about what I was saying. If you want a doctor who actually listens and can explain everything so clearly, this is the guy for you! You can trust that you will receive top notch care.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Higgins and the Staff at Concord Orthopedics. From the very first visit they were all very helpful and listened to the issues I was having with my hip. They wasted no time pin pointing the issue. I needed surgery, but had no worries. The staff before the surgery all mentioned how great Dr Higgins is and that he's the best, and so did the physical therapist after the surgery. Dr Higgins and his staff also have been keeping in touch to stay updated on my progress and keep me on the fastest track to full recovery. Thank you very much Dr Higgins and all the great people who work at Concord Orthopedics you guys are the best!

Dr. Brummett is a wonderful, professional and caring doctor. He made me feel safe before and after my back surgery and I would highly recommend him. His demeanor and rapport are rare always making me feel my concerns and questions were valid. He truly improved my physical health and I am so grateful.

Well Dr Duffy saved my leg in my life and I owe him the greatest debt of gratitude because when I came in I was bleeding heavily after being hit by a truck on my right side and could feel my leg is still in excruciating pain. When I got to the hospital via my father's now turned in vehicle and I was able to arrive at the ER within about 10 minutes of the accident happening before actually bleeding out.
Once there I was able to get help I thought you little did I know that I would need a lot of it Dr Duffy brought my life back at least two times that I know of and after basically 11 hours of surgery I was able to actually save my life or he was for me He's probably one of the best doctors I've ever had he cares about his patients He's funny to be around and like he looks like a little leprechaun maybe there's a pot of gold maybe I got it already I'd say I already won but I'll never tell what I found at the end of the rainbow The best animal orthopedic knee surgeon there is he was pretty good absolutely saved me. I'll always be indented in gratitude towards Mr Duffy and his family Concord Hospital.

Truly blown away. They are an 11 on a 10 scale! This is how medicine should be done! They took all the time necessary to understand the problem, then offer a solution. I do fully understand that it is a real hard job to be able to take the proper amount of it and also keep the lights on, having been in business myself for over 48 years. They are doing it with super people, from the lady that signed me in, the nurse I worked with, the 2 caring doctors, 2 x-ray personnel and the person who signed us out. Concord Orthopaedics comes with my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!

I had a herniated disc. Dr. McEnterfer walked me through the non-surgical and surgical options. I tried non-surgical and it did not work (a risk I knew and understood before trying it), so we proceeded with surgery. Dr. M was professional, thorough, and an excellent surgeon. I woke up from surgery with the pain gone. I cannot say enough good things about this team. ARPN Sarah Neal was an amazing light through our time at the hospital, and we had a very successful outcome. Very pleased with my experience at Concord Ortho.

The Doctor's at concord orthopedic may be good but there scheduling department is horrible understaffed we waited over a week just to hear back from them which never did happen I had to call back every day with the scheduling telling me she had 300 faxes to sort through before they could call me back. I finally called New Hampshire orthopedic they were pleasant and scheduled me an appointment on the first call.

Avoid Dr. Brummett at all costs! He is great when all goes well, but when he did my back fusion, something happened in surgery which caused nerve damage a week later and I was back in the hospital. He had no idea what to do with me, told me my nerves were wired differently than others and that maybe my pain was all in my head I have permanent nerve damage with L5, causing a partial drop foot for the rest of my life.
I went to Dr. Jenkins at NH Neurospine and he told me that if there is damage done during surgery, how it would manifest, and it was exactly what happened. On top of this during post op office visit, I overheard Brummett yelling at a staff member on the phone with many f bombs. If that was me, I would have hung up on him and speak with him only if he could be respectful. His argument was they they weren't sending enough new patients to him! STAY AWAY!

Dr. Mollano was Excellent. I have seen many doctors in my time, Dr. Mollano Is the real deal. He listens to what you have to say and tells you things straight up. He doesnt beat around the bush, he doesn't order unnecessary tests. I Highly recommend him and Concord Orthopedics. Keep up the Excellent work. My primary care physician recommended him, and i am so glad he did.

Worst hospital experience of my life. I have a broken ankle which requires surgery and got sent out with a date for a CT scan. No meds(not even Tylenol), no follow up date and no advice as best way to manage the pain. Time he says.thanks doc. The staff was extremely self absorbed, rude and have horrible bedside manors. Waiter for over 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged.
Staff was laughing and joking the whole time, hey, at least some people were enjoying the experience. I was recommended to come here and I will never curse anyone to come to this hellspitol. Stay away!

Always late and today we waited 1 hour to actually see the doctor. No one is ever happy, helpful, nice; the entire office is really not great to be at. Dr. Urbanek is supposed to be a child doctor, yet he is rude, confrontational, and non-educational. We asked countless times throughout 2 years of visits with still no actual information on the medical condition. He is a nightmare, rude, and would never go there again.

Stay away from this Practice unless you enjoy additional stress. My wife was scheduled for a hip surgery which was originally scheduled for 6/24/2019. She had asked if it could get done earlier and they moved it to 6/11/2019 after going through all the pre-surgery tests they told her the week before that she had to stop smoking for 4 weeks so she stopped smoking as requested.
They rescheduled her again for 7/2/2019 then the next day they rescheduled again for 7/3/2019. A week later they moved her surgery to 6/26/2019. Then on 6/25/2019 they wanted to reschedule her again. She told them they could go fry themselves. She was not going to deal with this group anymore because of the incompetence of the whole team. With the stress of preparing for surgery and the juggling of numerous resources to assist with her rehabilitation at home I would not recommend using these folks for anything. Dr. Dion was the surgeon not sure of his capability but the office team obviously does not know what they are doing. I would avoid this practice at all costs. Not sure they even care, that they jerked us around for two months. So Please Be Aware. Bill R.

Good providers and check out staff but front desk staff incredibly rude. A man waiting in line with me to check in joked that there should be chairs in line as we had been waiting for several minutes. The receptionist told him that if we were supposed to be checking in at the kiosk and the other said she was just signing on to her computer. Would have been nice if they had just said "oh by the way the new kiosks are near the front door could you sign in there" rather than say "I'll be right with you" when we arrived only to bite our heads off after.

My appointments have been timely and never an issue getting in or scheduling after a broken ankle. They take you in quickly for your appt time, and quickly and efficiently get you xrayed and casted and back out the door. Very friendly and competent nurses, doctors and PA's. I recommend this practice.

I saw Russell Brummett, MD this morning for a back problem. He was extremely, rude, obnoxious, wouldn't let me talk and practically called me a liar. I will NEVER go to Concord Orthopedics again as theyve been much less than you'd expect from a physicians office. I'm rating 1 star because I can't post with "0" stars!

I can not say how absolutely dissatisfied I was when went for my scheduled appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 3:40pm. I arrived at 3:30. I completed all the paper work that was requested. I continued to sit and wait in the waiting room as other patients came and went. Finally at 4:05 I inquired at the reception desk if the provider was running behind.
Just then the medical assistant called my name. I proceeded to the exam room and was quickly taken for x-ray. All of this probably didn't take more than 10 min. I was back in the exam room by 4:15. Never once did the MA or anyone else mention that the provider I was scheduled to see was running behind. While I was waiting for the provider to see me, I could here the staff out at the nurses station as clear as day discuss Halloween, costumes, Girl Scouts, Girl Scout cookies and I could even here them call "Alexis" at least 5 times to inquire who sang a particular song!
I heard of their upcoming plans for the weekend. I have NEVER encountered such unprofessional behavior. Now during all this time, never once did someone come in to update me on when the provider would be in to see me. Finally at 5 PM, 1 1/2 hrs after my arrival, I had still not been seen nor was I informed of when I would be seen, I dressed and walked out.
This is TOTALLY unacceptable. I work in a doctors office and if my staff were to behave like this they would be fired! A patients time is just as valuable as the provider that they are seeing. I took time off from work to come in for this appointment and expected to be able to return in a timely fashion. I will NEVER return to this office nor would I recommend anyone else consider going here.
They have become so big and impersonal, they have forgotten about the patient. There is no excuse for staff not to periodically check in with patients to inform them if the provider is running behind and offer to reschedule if they can not wait or even check with them to see if they need anything. I was absolutely horrified by this experience and left there unseen and in pain. Concord Orthopedics has failed me, and being in the health profession myself, will never recommend them to anyone, instead discourage them from going there.
It is a well know fact that when a patient is satisfied with their provider, they may tell a few people of their experience, but when a patient has had a negative experience they will tell the world. Well, I'm telling the world!

I have always been impressed with the support staff. The receptionist and Medical assistants are nice and helpful. I have been a patient of Dr Resnick for about 5 years. He is pleasant and helful. I recently had a back issue that was not quite a clear diagnosis and saw Alan Parzick. He was polite, but didn't take time to ask me questions and I had to suggest that I get additional stretching exercises.
On my second visit he mis-stated that my pain had changed areas and never gave me a clear path for help I felt I needed. I left not really knowing what to do next to get better? Needless to say. I am looking for another Dr to help with my back and was disappointed with that experience.

Over 20 years ago I was diagnosed with RA. I've had terrible swelling, chronic pain in my back hips and knees. I've been receiving cortisone shots every 4-5 months for my knees for awhile. I have degeneration in both knees. Today I went in for my scheduled appointment for my injections but was told to go to therapy since the other 50 times were not enough.
I already do all the exercises they gave me almost daily. Exercise is only going to help my muscles not replace the missing cartilage. Concord Orthopedics failed me as a patient and it would be a cold day in hell if I go back or refer anyone.

Waited a couple of months for an appointment which was worth the wait because I loved the physician I saw. Had never been there before. They did forget to call in the prescription, however, so I called after a week to say they need to call it in. The girl on the phone was rude and asking me how I used a past medication which was really not her business to be asking me.
When my answer was too vague for her she got irritated and raised her voice. I simply needed the Dr. to call or fax the prescriptions in. When I told her not to yell at me she back peddled and became nice in a phony way. Not impressed.

I simply can not say enough good things about this place. We were seen at a hospital up north, and I didn't feel comfortable with their plan for my daughter. I called Concord Ortho and they said to just start driving. I mentioned that it was nearly closing time and I was an hour away, and they said just get here, we'll stay open. We arrived, were seen immediately, and scheduled for surgery the next day. Dr. Urbanek & the entire staff was great on the day of her surgery, as well as the many visits we've had since she broke her radius and ulna. They have been patient when she was nervous, reassuring, kind and have answered our many questions. Great doctors, facility and staff!

Go some place else to start! The customer service at this place is awful. They are extremely condescending (especially Barbara in the office) and clearly do not care about the patient. It is all about making money for them. They rush you on the phone, barely answer questions and on two occasions I have been told one thing only to be told something different from them by someone else in the office who then proceeded to act like I didn't know what I was talking about when I told them what I was just told the day before. If I was not so deep in the process with them and not willing to start over some place else I would absolutely go to another place. Proceed with caution.

Run! Run as fast as you can from this practice. The front desk is staffed by some of the rudest and nastiest people I have ever met! Was referred here for a broken wrist after a terrible fall. My partner called to schedule the appointment we had been referred for and they were positively rude from the start. I would sooner set my own break and use duct tape then deal with this practice ever again.
