Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Program at MVH & IFCH! We strive to make our patients' hospital visit the best it can be. In order to do that, we rely on volunteers to provide the humanistic touch that can sometimes be overlooked in a busy medical environment. Additionally, the volunteer program raises funds for causes in the community.
Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment for difficult and hard to heal wounds. Our compassionate team of doctors, nurses and wound specialists treat all types of wounds and many challenging problems in order to alleviate suffering and improve people's quality of life.

We really enjoy the hospital. Staff is very helpful and very caring and we really appreciate the work that they do. But billing Department is horrible to deal with. Every time always have issues with billing. We get random bills in the mail then when you try to get a hold of them no one can be reached and it's very frustrating.

We were extremely pleased overall with our stay at Mountain View when we had our first child! The nurses were all helpful, competent, and kind. It was very clean and new. The food was absolutely delicious. I knocked off a star because there was some ambiguity surrounding COVID rules, as some nurses were wearing masks and upholding the rules for others and some were not. We would have preferred it was all consistent. Since we had a new baby would have preferred that the rules were enforced, so that made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I had the most amazing experience with the hospital this week. I had shoulder surgery with Dr. Andary and every staff person I came in contact with was kind, respectful, conversational, and treated me and my husband with so much care. This is my second amazing experience with MVH. Thank you for all you do to assure your patience have a great experience even during a not so fun procedure.

Best experience. I had to be induced 6 weeks early due to some complications and Mountain View helped make a scary experience so much better. During 52 hours of labor and a few days of recovery all my labor and delivery nurses went above and beyond to not only make sure my health and delivery was going well but also took the time to talk me through everything and provide comfort and support.

Our baby was also in the NICU for 2 weeks and we could not even begin to say enough good things about how well the nurses and doctors took care of our little girl and provided information and comfort to us. My husband also gave all the food his stamp of approval, it was delicious. Overall could not be more happy with the staff and facility

We had a scheduled ultrasound as always we showed up 15 minutes early so as to be right on time. We ended up waiting in the waiting room for 1 hour and 10 minutes after our scheduled time before we were even taken back for the ultrasound. If we are expected to respect the medical staffs time and show up on time I believe the medical staff should in turn respect our time as patients and deliver services in a timely manner.

If they could go lower, they sure would. I needed to have a surgery done. My insurance was giving them a hard time, and I understand. But they denied me any sort of payment plan, and demanded 20K up front. Because we, all have that sitting in a bank. And they waited until the morning before my surgery to contact me or say ANYTHING at all. They are rude, unprofessional, uncaring, and they do not care about you. At all. EIRMC did my surgery, and saved my life before I went into Emergency status. I highly suggest you rethink using this joke of a place.

I've had a horrible experience with the billing. They lost a check from my insurance, they put me in collections for a bill that hadn't been fully gone through by the insurance company. Any time I call they can not answer any questions. I recommend not using any of their facilities because they are unorganized. They are billing for a mri scan they did while the equipment was malfunctioning and did not produce quality scan In which the bill was originally $500 after insurance then they upped it to $800 and can't explain why.

I had a vasectomy in a doctor's office that would of been $80 based off my insurance's guidelines then they claimed I was in a surgical facility when it was a doctor's office and charged me a co-pay of $500. I pay $14,000 a year for medical insurance to pay the same co-pays as someone with out Insurance. Disgusting how they take advantage of people.

I delivered my son here almost two weeks ago. The labor and delivery/postpartum staff were amazing! Our nurses were attentive and made our stay there comfortable. I got to have Maddy more than once before my unexpected c-section. She was helpful and kind. They took care of all our needs during our stay. Thank you!

We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to every one of the staff members that provided us with service at the Mountain View Hospital. We recently moved to Idaho Falls, and unfortunately, ended up needing urgent treatment. Dr. Bladder modified his surgical schedule to provide the emergency procedure for my husband. We were greeted with polite kindness and understanding from the beginning to the end of the treatment. Every person that we encountered demonstrated diligence, empathy, and respect. Idahoans are very fortunate to have such a talented medical service.
