Services
A CT scan, also known as a CAT scan, is one of the most popular types of medical imaging. CT scans produce detailed images of a wide variety of structures in the body including organs, bones, soft tissues and blood vessels. A CT exam is most often used to diagnose diseases or injuries or to assist radiologists in planning for other types of treatment.
Magnetic resonance imaging, also known as MRI, uses powerful magnets, radio waves and computer technology to produce images of the inside of the body. MRI images provide exceptional detail of virtually all internal structures including organs, bones and soft tissues. MRI is most often used to diagnose neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
Mammograms detect breast abnormalities using low-dose x-rays. Mammograms help radiologists to detect breast cancer, cysts or calcifications, usually before they can even be felt during a breast exam. A screening mammograms aids in the early detection of breast cancer and is recommended for women of the appropriate age who show no symptoms of a breast abnormality.
Fluoroscopy is a type of medical imaging that allows radiologists to view moving body structures in real-time moving images. Radiography, also known as x-ray, is performed with fluoroscopy exams. During a fluoroscopy exam, a continuous x-ray beam is used to create a series of images that can be viewed like a movie.

I've always had a good experience at Diagnostic Imaging, however when I recently called to make my appointment for my mammogram I asked if the technician is vaccinated. I was told " she doesn't have to share that info, but she wears a mask." I understand she has the right to not answer my question, however, I have the right to feel comfortable. As any woman knows there is very close contact with the technician. I urge you to find another place for your mammogram for your own safety.

They did a test they said my doctor ordered and I didn't know anything about it so they said my doctor must have forgot to tell me. Found out they hit the wrong button and just went with it rather than correct it. Now I'm getting a bill and they "can't find my chart". BIG MESS GOING ON OVER THERE! Won't subject myself to their mayhem again! Terrible at the front desk too. Want to argue about the mistake they already admitted to. Might be some fraudulent insurance practices going on here. I will be discussing that with my insurance company!

Most horrible experience ever. We arrived 45 minutes earlier just to avoid the long wait but got to the wrong window. The lady helping us at the front desk was very inexperienced and incapable of handling patients. She took forever to get us in. The others who were lucky to go to the other window got in before us even though they had a later appointment. Very very disappointed in their service. Never ever coming back here again. I wish I could give a zero but can't go below 1.

If I could give it no stars I would. They set appointments and then randomly change them, it's never the same time as they state on the phone. Example. When scheduling: your appointment is at 8:30 please be here by 8:00. When calling two days before the appointment: same thing. But when they call to remind you the day before: your appointment is at 9:00 please arrive at 8:30.
And she swears up and down she is the one who sets appointments, makes the calls and answers the phone and she never said that. Get to the appointment: oh I didn't know until just now that your MRI was with contrast and the doctor doesn't get here until 9:30 and I tried to tell you that yesterday. Wait what?! And this is on more than one occasion. The techs are great but these front desk people are horrible. And according to the other reviews this is normal for them.

We have always received excellent service at the Poplar location. The staff is friendly and attentive to our special needs. They are punctual as well. The ex ray technicians are professional, friendly and work hard to relieve the patient's stress level and complete the procedure as quickly as possible to get us on our way. Five stars from us!

I had an MRI completed at the facility last night. They were very accommodating to my schedule, offering an after hours appointment for the scan. As a self-pay patient, I was able to make the appointment within 24 hours of calling the facility. Wonderful! I arrived early for my appointment and was seen before my scheduled time. I would use the facility again if needed!

Terrible experience. Twice I made an appt., arranged childcare, etc., only to have them argue that the doctor's orders weren't "correct" and I would have to come back later. Not surprisingly, they thought my doctor "should" have ordered the scan that was twice as expensive. I had to get him involved personally before they would fulfill his orders.
They also demanded $1500 up front before even running through insurance. We waited for long periods of time while they all chatted about where they were going to dinner. Not a great experience for patients who are already under a great deal of stress.
