The staff functions at the highest level of professionalism. Every employee is friendly and helpful. Dr. Ratchford is such a kind, caring, and genuine person. She really cares about her patients. I feel blessed to be one of Ratchford Eye Center's patients!

Dr. Chin is a wonderful doctor with a gentle demeanor. I feel he is a caring person and wants the best for his patients. He removed two cataracts and i would simply recommend Dr. Chin to any person. The staff at Ratchford are all respectful and patient in my experience.

Really great doctors. Dr kjellen is wonderful and on time. Dr Ratchford is phenomenal, except you will wait an hour after your appointment time to ever lay eyes on her. Really problematic for a variety of reasons. Also, they only have 2 handicapped spots which is insane, considering the patient population I see in their waiting room.

The staff at Ratchford eye center is very friendly. Dr. Brett Kjellen is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor to boot. Highly recommend!

It seems like all I do is brag about my choices of doctors. Again I found Ratchford eye Center And Dr Ratchford and her amazing crew of assistance to be absolutely amazing. They are so thorough and professional and yet still personal dueling and after your examination. Never pushy about prescriptions, as a matter of fact recommending drug store glasses for needed problem correction. That are the best. thank you Dr. Ratchford for building such a great team and practice.

Ratchford Eye Center is just fantastic. Everyone is very polite & professional, and very easy to work with. The Doctors explain everything well, and they always have the latest tools to help them learn everything possible about your vision. The exam is very thorough, and they go through all of the different test results and explain everything in terms anyone can understand. Since coming to the Ratchford Eye Center I've been extremely happy with the results. They truly care about their patients and it shows in how well they deal with us.

It was my first time at the facility, last summer, asked for my eye to be dilated and the doctor didn't want to because he said my eyes look fine and it's covid so he can't be too close to me. I had told him multiple times that I had severe migraine and that my primary care doctor told me the get my eye checked to see if there is anything wrong with them.

So that was the whole point of the appointment. After I insisted many time he then decided to take a look and he didn't even do it the proper way he was way far away from me and looked for few seconds said he was done

I love this doctors' office and the whole staff is very helpful! I've been going to them for years and have always gotten excellent care. They still have that personal family feel that other medical offices have lost to big business medical groups. It takes a while to get an appointment, which is understandable and worth the wait, because they are the BEST!

Do not purchase glasses through their optical department, prices are exhorbitant, service is severely lacking, they say they leave messages regarding the order on a phone that isn't set up for voicemail. Tried to cancel after one week, told they were already shipped, now on week 3! Buyer beware.

The staff are not friendly when you call. It makes me feel like I'm bothering them. It's a shame because the Doctors are great. Why do you make patients feel terrible when they are calling for help? I've been spoken to rudely more than once. The only reason I continue to come here is because of the nice doctors.

Doctor Ratchford has been my ophthalmologist for many years, and I trust her with my eyes. Along with the other friendly doctors and friendly experienced staff my eyes stay healthy, and it's a pleasure to visit their new modern, super clean facility with ample parking. Thank you, A+.

The staff and eye doctors were very professional and my teenage age kids loved them. I gave 4 stars because the service in the Optical Center is unprofessional, my insurance company lists the center as a provider for a certain discount and they refused to honor it. My insurance company had to call them numerous times to explain it to them and they were still reluctant to honor it.

The Optical Center tried to explain why, even though they are clearly listed on Anthem's website as offering the discount, they wouldn't honor it. I didn't understand what they they were saying, extremely poor communication skills. Not to brag, but I am an attorney and I am fairly well educated and manage complex communications every day, and I could not resolve the issue with them. Moreover, they seem reluctant to even provide service. If you go to Ratchford Eye Center I would avoid the Optical Center.

Always friendly, professional and personal care. They pay great attention to detail and take the extra time to explain things. I always feel like my family and I are in good hands with Dr. Ratchford and her excellent staff. We trust Ratchford Eye Center with our eyes and have for well over a decade.

The Ratchford Eye Center is "excellence in eye care" period. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave they are totally committed to delivering the very best care. Front staff was welcoming and professional. Pre-exam by the techs was thorough and testing was complete so when I saw the doctor all needed information was gathered. Dr Ratchford examined me and I left with the knowledge that I had received the best care possible. I have been to other eye doctors and have never received this level of care. Dr. Ratchford is the best!
