Founded in 1971 with just five ophthalmologists and three offices, EHS has flourished into the area's premier eye care practice. The practice consists of 20 board certified ophthalmologists with sub-specialty training in Cornea, Glaucoma, Diseases of the Retina, Pediatric Ophthalmology, and Ophthalmic Plastics and Reconstructive Eye Surgery.
Dedicated to upholding the highest standards of the clinical practice of medicine and ophthalmology, Dr. Chang specializes in cataract surgery and the medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Chang is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New England Ophthalmological Society.

I have been going to Dr. Dale Oates for many, many years and I think he's wonderful. Very knowledgeable and kind. I will say that they NEVER run on time and often the wait is long but he is worth it. However, today I had an appointment at 2:45 and arrived at approximately 2:40. After waiting for 45 minutes, I finally went up to the desk and asked how many people would Dr. Oates be seeing before he got to me.
I was told 6 people were in front of me. Talk about overbooking! The patient's time is just as important as the doctor's time and while I understand that it's a good thing that the doctor spend some quality time with each patient, that was just outrageous! I told her I would be rescheduling and could not wait that long. Due to the Covid pandemic and my struggle with cancer, I had already put off my exam longer than I was comfortable with. I intend to reschedule but I would like to be seen within 1 hour of my appointment time, not 3 hours!

Eye Health Services in S. Yarmouth has terrible customer service. No Contact lens fitting available you need to go to Plymouth. 2 Appointments & 2 days out of work. If you cant provide the service WHY ARE YOU ON CAPE COD, you are useless. You are not the only Eye doctors on the Cape.though you act like you are!
