The worst hospital, I've been to. I arrived at 5pm sat in the waiting room alone because they would NOT allow my healthy husband to sit with me. They called him a "visitor". Well, there were plenty of ''visitors" in the waiting room with capable adults that didn't need to be pushed in a wheelchair or accompanying children (some had 2 visitors). I was never registered. NOT AT ALL!

I asked several times as I watched many people walk in after me, be called to registration and then have their vitals checked. I was also confronted by their female security guard telling me "I was not allowed to question anyone on their process, I could sit or leave". She was a bully, extremely rude and out of line! I sat there until 8:40pm until I was called in.that's over 3 hours.

They left me in a room for an hour before someone came in. They ran tests on me said they didn't know what was wrong with me. In fact I was there so long that another doctor Laura Connolly took over but never came to see me. But at 4am she walked in and announced she looked at my chart, they couldn't do anything for me and said I could leave and should see my primary doctor.

However when I asked what and why I was there so long with no results and they couldn't do anything for me she got indignantly rude and said "do you have anymore questions for me, well goodbye and walked out". I have never seen so little compassion for the sick. I was not the only one upset that day sitting in the waiting room. Can someone tell me what has happened to our health care officials?

This review is kind compared to the anger I felt when I left there. Milford Hospital do something about your doctors bedside manners. You certainly won't get PAYING patients with that kind of medical care.

Emergency services department is the the worst. There's a different meaning for the word 'emergency' here, you will have to wait more than 2 hours to get a room, and couple of more hours to see a doctor. This should be your least option only If you're unable to find any other emergency care center. And some of the staff members weren't responsive to questions. It could be due to their off hours working schedule, totally understandable.

This hospital does not deserve a star for such poor service. I have a personal experience 2 times of being there and waiting and waiting for hours and they never attend to you. but this morning I was furious that my 17-year-old daughter went to the emergency room at 11 pm on Monday night and that they did not attend her for 6 hours and that they did not give you medicine. It's not fair if you go to the hospital, it's for them to help you, not to put you on a stretcher for 6 hours and leave you. what a shame hospital.

Literally the worst hospital I've ever tried to get myself treated at. On 4 different occasions the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was appalling. I woke up at 1am with severe chest pains. Went in to the ER to get seated for nearly 30 minutes. To have an EKG taken and be told nothing was wrong. To be reseated for nearly another 2 hours. My pain went away and I got frustrated and went home back to bed, stupid of me yes.

They called me the next day saying the EKGs now looked concerning. Would give 0 stars of I could. I'd ask the ambulance to drive to sturdy before I ever came here again, why return in a life and death situation if you can't trust them with your life? Do better, your not cooking burgers.

Went there in December immediately after a car accident. The ER was completely packed and it took over 4 hrs to be seen by anyone. I wasn't even given a bed, they brought me to a folding chair in the hallway. The drs and nursing staff were kind and attentive, it was clear that they were overworked and didn't have enough staff/beds during a Covid surge. However, the billing department has been extremely rude and unprofessional and clearly unorganized

If I could give zero stars I would. Was here twice within a week and first time for a throat issue I was in the waiting room for 3 hours. They put me on antibiotics that I did not need because all tests came back negative. Second time I arrive here I'm in severe pain and had severe diarrhea because of the antibiotics they had given me the week prior.

I was in the waiting room for another 3 hours because "they didn't have a bed for me" but they were taking people that were walking and looked completely fine in and gave them a bed before me. Meanwhile I was in a wheelchair bawling my eyes out in excruciating pain. And finally when I got called back they put me in a bed in the hallway! I was there for 6 hours and turned out I had c diff colitis from the antibiotics they had given me.

Absolutely horrible experience I was so uncomfortable and just wanted privacy but when I asked if I was getting a room they said no! I was across from an empty room for about an hour crying I can't believe how bad they treated me. Will never go here again! Shame on you!

ER was terrible. They forgot about a 2 year old in the waiting room for over 5 hours. Watched other families triage after, be seen and leave as we continued to wait. I realize some emergencies take precedence but come on. 5 hours for a two year old? To then get in there and see nurses standing around, and open rooms? You have got to be kidding me.

I had a very sick child on my hands and a very high ER copay. I did not take going to the ER lightly, and I was so disappointed in the level of service. The nurse we did eventually see was phenomenal, but that was it.

Horrible experience! I arrived with my 83 year old mother, who was having shortness of breath, feeling light head and a rapis heart beat. We waited 4.5 hours in the waiting room! The triage RN was rude, uncaring and unprofessional. The only saving grace was Doctor High who was a kind, professional that took the time to listen and help my mother. If I can ever avoid going here again, I will! If you have a choice.go somewhere else.

My daughter went in to the ER by ambulance. She had covid, covid migraine and pneumonia. Because she was not vaccinated she was treated horribly by ER nurse she had. She had pneumonia and was sent home after a few hours, and we were told to monitor her O2. When they released her she asked for a wheelchair, she had no shoes, and it was snowing besides the fact she was very I'll. The nurse asked her, "don't you walk at home" They were so unprofessional.

I have always chosen Milford Regional as my local hospital to go to. I have received excellent care every time I have gone and I appreciate the amazing staff they have on hand! I have always been treated with much care and respect and I truly cannot recommend them enough!

I am a nurse and unfortunately contracted COVID. I suffer from asthma and woke up with an asthma exacerbation and was lethargic fighting to breathe. I came here because this was once a good hospital. The triage nurse left me in the waiting room for 2 hours as I struggled to breathe, they saw patients with lower back pain before me. I decided to leave, if I was going to die, I was not going to die alone in a waiting room and my father brought me to a real hospital. I was treated right away. Shame on you Milford hospital for hiring careless nurses! I will never or my family go here again.

I have severe swelling above my ear that causes pressure and MUSCLE TICS. I was told that they couldn't feel ANYTHING. This has been there for 1 year. My skull was completely flat before. My white blood cell count is 2x the average. I was told nothing was wrong. I throw up biweekly and have light sensitivity when lights flicker. I will be talking to the patient liason.

How is nothing wrong when I went from 160 to 135 pounds, became lactose intolerant, and couldn't eat red meat for one year. I asked to be tested for Lyme but they didn't test me!

I can't be more thankful with all the staff in this hospital. I got a surgery a few weeks ago with Dr. Patsos and I was so nervous because it was my first time ever. All the staff took the time to go over everything and answer all my questions, since front desk lady to every nurse, anesthesiologist and the Doctor. Every single person in the hospital were very kind and caring. I wish I can remember the name of each one to thank them.

Great Hospital. The staff cares and they take the time to answer all your questions thoroughly and carefully. My husband was in for pneumonia and the nurses, doctors and technicians all gave him great care. Very accessible staff-always available when you have a need. And the hospital room is large and clean and the meals were excellent. We are out-of-towners so when we left they made sure we had all the information we would need for follow up with our doctors at home. Well-run hospital with great staff.

Was brought here after an attempt to unalive myself. Was in psychosis so I wasn't acting mentally right. Guess they aren't trained in mental health or they do not empathize with it because staff made fun of me to my face and taunted me. The words do you think I actually care?' were said to me by a nurse. No empathy. Imagine mocking someone who just tried to unalive them, truly disturbing behavior from the staff at this hospital.

Annoyed, upset, and overall disappointment. I got to the ER because I might be positive for Covid-19. I can barley breathe, coughing, high fever. We have been sitting in the ER for hours. I see empty beds when I go to the bathroom. Numerous people have came and went. Still it's been HOURS since a patient has been called back to be seen. I understand short staffing is an issue, but this isn't okay.

Not just for me, but for every patient in the waiting room. 6 people have walked out in the last 3 hours, and no one has been called back to be seen. Do better. I always came here because I trusted your service. I can't say I trust you guys anymore. Next time I'll drive double the way to go to a different hospital that will take patient needs more seriously.

Monday I had gone to the ER for difficulty breathing and being unable to keep my fever down, overall was in very weak condition and throwing up blood. I sat in the waiting room from 12:30-8PM. Admittedly there were people in far worse condition than me and even they weren't called in the time I was there. For people with more severe concerns there needs to be some kind of sense of urgency, I know hospitals are understaffed with an influx of patients right now so I can't fault them too much.

But wanted to share my experience, the people I did interact with were kind and understanding. But once 8PM came with no food, drink or medicine in me I chose to just go home to be comfortable. I ended up in a different ER yesterday and found I had covid induced pnemonia in both of my lungs, and based on my condition I was seen within 20 minutes of being there.

Yikes, if I could give 0 stars I really would have. I was referred by urgent care for a CT scan because there was something serious shown in an X-ray and I needed an in depth scan. I was told it was an emergency, hence the ER. and wow, got there at 1, wasn't brought into a room until 4:30, then was in the room and got an IV for the CT scan. I had an empty IV in my arm for 4+ hours.

I hadn't eaten all day because naturally I wasn't feeling well. Told the nurse I was starving and felt sick. Pressed the alert button and no one came even after 10 mins. Anyways, told the nurse I was going to be sick anf needed some sugar, he said "try being a nurse, we don't eat all day" or something like that. They were careless and heartless. I didn't end up getting my CT scan until 9pm.8 hours after being there for an EMERGENCY! Anyways then the doctor comes back with the results around 9:45 my husband asked a question specific to what the doctor noticed in his initial exam of me and the doctor responded "sometimes we hear things that aren't really there. Once I got back and thought about it I noticed I didn't hear anything." Like WHAT! This place is a joke

My girlfriend delivered our baby at Milford regional medical center on Monday afternoon. Unfortunately, our baby has had some trouble keeping his blood sugar up and required an IV for glucose to be fed to him. We have now been taking shifts at the hospital with the baby while he works to get his blood sugar where it should be. The nurses working have been so great and helpful but also very upbeat about the situation to help us from feeling down about everything going on.

I wish I could remember every nurses name that has helped us but especially Melissa, Patty, and Kim were all very professional and compassionate. We want to take our baby home and start spending some bonding time with him but if he's going to be stuck at a hospital I'm glad it's Milford regional medical center because the staff is amazing.
