All of the physicians at West Georgia Internal Medicine are board certified in Internal Medicine. It is our goal to provide the best health care as thoroughly and as efficiently as possible. Although each physician has their own patients, we are associates and, as such, practice medicine in that manner. If you have a problem that requires immediate attention and your physician is not available, the physician on call for our group at that particular time will be notified and will take care of your needs.
Services
Our office is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Patients are seen by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling, (770) 834-6208, or making your request below. If you are having problems we encourage you to call our office early in the morning, so we can give your problem attention the same day.
Should you encounter an emergency at a time other than regular office hours, please proceed directly to the emergency room at Tanner Medical Center. They have a physician on duty and if our assistance is needed, they will know how to reach us immediately. Please do not go to the emergency room with routine problems. If you are concerned the problem may be other than routine, please contact our office and the nurse on call will return your call.
It is the objective of this office to provide our patients with the best available care at a reasonable cost. In an effort to eliminate the expense of billing and collection, we ask that you pay for these services as they are rendered. We regard our fees as reasonable and in keeping with the prevailing charges in the area.
This office is a member of the HealthWest PHO organization and we participate with most insurance companies. Except in certain circumstances, your health insurance is a contract between you, the patient, and your insurance company. We ask that you not lose sight of this fact. It is therefore necessary that you take the responsibility to follow-up on a claim to your company if you feel it is not being paid promptly or properly. We will be happy to provide you with any information we can to help you substantiate your claim.
