It's rare to find a practitioner that is both competent and has a good bedside manner and even more importantly, one that you trust. PA Kay Azzara is all these things. She is knowledgeable, genuine and sincere. There is a bad stigma concerning physician assistants and Kay blows this stigma out of the water. We are picky about the doctors we see because our health is so very important to us. I trust Kay!

I have been to other dermo practices in the past and was never truly satisfied. It seems that many practices overbook. With other family members have been using Laserderm Dermatology and based upon their recommendations, I gave Laser Derm a try. Could not be happier and I am there about four times a year. Having atypical moles removed [Irish skin and sun don't mix well], I am in their offices regularly.
The personnel at Laserderm Dermatology is easy to work with and professional. For this reason, my youngest child is now using Laser Derm for laser hair removal, and as expected, the team has been great. I would recommend this practice.

Overbooked meat locker of bodies waiting over an hour. No restroom for this area. First visit a PA makes a call on a growth your eyelid? Not even a pop in from a real doc. Then they talk of cortorizing your flesh and pre- cancer biopsy. So wait your so special you skip meeting your new patients? Then I have to call them for resukts because 2 week past.
They say they dont call if results are negative so I call and a medical assistant is explaing pre-cancer nitrogen freezes and tells me now to let it ruin my weekend. Wants another appt woth PA as doc is on vacation well so am I. I am on a permanent LASERDERM DR. Serure vacation. After 1 hr 15mins I walked out with my records fowarder to a doc I can see.

I had a basal cell carcinoma that required 24 radiation treatments to cure it. I was apprehensive at first as the basal cell was close to my mustache, and I was concerned it would be gone forever after the treatments. I didn't want surgery on my face which is a common option (Mohs surgery) which causes scarring, and fortunately, this facility does SRT treatment as well (radiation).
The two technicians, Christine and Tina, were as professional as can be, and extremely kind. The procedures were as painless as xrays at the dentist. The doctors I dealt with were kind and professional. Dr. Serure, the head dermatologist is extremely caring. Long story short, they saved my mustache, the cancer is completely gone, and all done without surgery.
If you have any skin cancers, consider this as a first option! SRT facilities are not everywhere, so take advantage if you live on Long Island! Your insurance should cover it, mine did!
