Had a scheduled.appt for an Ultrasound a month ago. Whoever scheduled my appt was wonderful. And check in that morning was efficient. Unfortunately, the ultrasound tech may have been having an off day and made me feel like I really was just wasting her time. Today was scheduled for a mammogram at 12:15. Checked in at noon. Walked out at 1:20. Never left the reception area. Decided it was time to try someplace new.

Friendly, fast, efficient checkin. Filled out my forms and was escorted to my mammogram waiting room to await Christy. I got here at 10:35. My appointment was at 10:45, and I was out the door by 10:55. I never felt rushed by Christy, who was my Tech. She had warm hands (thank goodness) and was excellent at her job. This is not the most pleasant exam, but she made it as pleasant as she could.
I haven't been here in awhile. The parking lot is big. I found a place close to the east entrance door. Inside, there are 4 hallways, but it is easy to find central checkin in Suite 10, a large waiting room. They have a TV, a bookcase with books (50 each, if you want to own one), and up to date magazines. There is plenty of room for wheelchairs. The waiting room for mammograms is small & cozy, with low lighting. But I only waited a minute here. The exam room is spacious, and well lit. I will definitely make future appointments at this location.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY PLEASE READ! Ok I tried to post this on Radiology Associates facebook page and they said it was under review. What the heck - they don't allow posts WITH FACTS on their FB page without review. Well they can not review my post. I got a letter from them telling me that if I had a mammogram in the last 2 years along with 10,0000 other people I needed to have another one done if my Dr. thought I needed one because their equipment was faulty. WTH, I got a new prescription to have another mammogram and got an appointment for October Well while on vacation they called and left a message THEY had rescheduled it to 11/13/18 at 2:30 because their equipment was not fixed yet. Told me to be there by 2:15 to check in which I was there by 2:05, checked in and sat there.
Finally at 2:50 asked them how long it would be because my mother was 89 with Alzheimer's and was alone. I was told they were 45 minutes behind schedule. Are you kidding me the procedure takes 10 minutes and you are 45 minutes behind. I waited the full 45 minutes and then asked when I was going to be taken back, and asked why are so far behind and was told they overbook these appointments.
They said I was the next in line. After another 10 minutes they took me back and did the mammogram. The tech was very nice and apologetic (I know it was not her fault.) I am sorry but there is NO EXCUSE for this. Do they think their time is more important than mine. I call BS. They are the ones that had to send out 10,000 certified letters to patients because their equipment was faulty.
I tried to post this on their Facebook page and it said post under review. So now they don't allow people to post the FACTS on their page. They need to STOP overbooking these tests and take patients at the appointed times. I understand there are emergencies but come on now. MY TIME is just as important as theirs. I had to have a CT scan last week and they were 25-30 minutes behind on that as well. I let that slide because of the kind of test it was but come on STOP OVERBOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENTS WE ARE HUMANS TOO AND DON'T DESERVE THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT.!

In the 2 years that I have been living here this is the only place I will go. They are accommodating, very nice from the front check in ( give her a break she is 1 person helping everyone and she still takes the time for each and everyone of the patients.) Nuclear area they are awesome, they go above and beyond and truly have concerns and empathy for all patients.
If you encounter a wait once at check in think about this, this tells me patients are here cause they are pleased for the service received not for the xpress line. I have never encountered a rude staff member. While I seen patients being rude to the staff, the staff went out of the way to accommodate. I highly recommend this facility.

I had an Ultrasound this month for thyroid nodules. I had many of them before. The technicians were always gentle. The last technician was very rough on my neck. I am human and not a piece of meat. Also the equipment wasn't working properly, took double pictures. The front desk people were very nice and helpful.

Front staff were very polite but the lady who did my ultrasound was rude. I gave her an imaging order from my doctor and she asked me "huh? what is this for" and asked "why are you here" in a rude tone. Not sure about why they even gave me an imaging order if the lady wasn't even going to review it. She treated me as if I were an incovenience to her time. Anytime I would ask a question she would reply back in an annoyed tone like I was an annoyance to her.
When she told me to get on the table for the ultrasound one of the stirrups were broken and I asked her if there was any way she could move it because it was physically impossible for me to hold my legs up with the stirrrup being broken, she gave me a hard time saying "no, it's broken. Just put your legs up on them". This was an ultrasound for my first child, which should be a pleasant experience but instead it was awful. It's a shame because the receptionist was very nice, but I will not be returning to this facility.

Made an appointment for a CT Scan for a friend that is extremely ill and in constant pain. The appointment was scheduled a week in advance which is understandable. The day before the appointment, they called my friend to ask her docor's phone number. The one they had was incorrect. It took them a whole week to figure out they had the wrong phone number.
Now my friend that is in horrible has to wait until next week because, not only are they too ignorant to figure out how to get the correct phone number for a doctor, they took a week to find out they didn't have the correct phone number.

I had to reschedule my original appointnent for Feb 28th to March 10th. I called on March 9th to confirm my aot time. I was told when I arrive on March 10th they would try to collect my $25.00 no show charge. They said I missed an apt Feb 27 th and 28th. I explained I had not missed an apt, I rescheduled, I was told that isn't what the computer says.
I restated the fact I had not missed an apt and it needs to be fixed. After a brief hold, she proceeded to tell me she removed the fee and would need to contact IT because there was a glitch in their system. The front desk staff were so unfriendly and unprofessional, I was contemplating leaving before they called me back. June called me back, I asked her if the radiologist and staff were as bad as the front desk staff and I don't know if I trust them with my medical needs.
She was so sweet and apologetic, she told me she understood and reassured me I was in good hands but if I wanted to leave, she understood. I stayed for my mammogram and ultrasound, the rooms were clean, the techs were very sweet. But I will not return to this facility. The front desk staff needs to realize they are lucky to have a job, if they are that miserable then quit!

Rude and Lazy people! They have forms for HIPPA forms that are Laminated for "Emergency Contacts" which they reuse for all patients! The Ultrasound Lady called me back with my husband to ask me why he was there when she had the Doctor's Order in her Hand! I advised her to call the Doctor's office for that information, because he was in a Nursing Home when the Doctor discovered his "Renal Cyst!" The building is run-down and the bathroom door locking mechanism has been broken since Last Year in May 2016! The Handicapped parking spots are not properly marked for handicapped People!
