My son was stillborn. I spent my whole pregnancy going through issues with All About Women, first of all being the front desk staff when checking in. The lady was rude and repeated herself multiple times stating my child's father needed to leave because I was not allowed to have more than one guest when it was my first visit and continued to talk over me as I was trying to ask questions related to the visit.
The also charge $250 right from day one for your time with the practice for the pregnancy. Following this I had continued issues with improper billing, this was later resolved. At this point, I looked into other facilities and I resent myself for not trusting my gut. My son was stillborn at 39 weeks. 6 days prior to his due date. I had no complications, nothing to indicate that this would happen.
I had one visit with another doctor and she stated I was measuring small and sent me immediately to have an ultrasound. Everything appeared fine. Consistently, I spoke of pain I was experiencing ( as a first time mom, I had no idea what to expect) and I simply was told that if I felt pain and as long as there was not any bleeding to drink water and relax.
I didn't even know when I came for my last appointment that I was having contractions. I thought my son was still alive and moving around. There was not enough focus on educating me as to what to expect. Or even that stillbirth was a concern I should focus on. After the fact, I find that still birth is very common and it took losing my son to receive more care in my pregnancy (this one is on insurance companies) Now after the fact, I am being sent to a specialist for my next pregnancy and out of the office. I wish I would have listened to my gut and went to another practice. Maybe then we would have caught something to indicate that I was going to lose my son.

It went fine at first, I made an appointment. Then I got a call from my primary care doctor saying that All About Women had declined to go along with my pregnancy because I'm "high risk." I'm not even high risk pregnancy. Then I got a text, phone call, and email saying I had an appointment with them and that I needed to check in. They gave me a number to call.
I called that number and they said that I don't have an appointment with them and that maybe I called the wrong office. I told them I called the number they gave me. They said that they sent me referral over to Shands because they couldn't take me. I told them that I'm not high risk. They were very unclear on why they wouldn't take me as a patient. All this to say that it has been a very frustrating dealing with All About Women.

I can't say enough good things about All About Women. Their care is so diligent and thorough. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone at the practice. Dr. Scogin delivered my first and Dr. Cook has been guiding me through my second pregnancy. There is no one else I'd rather have by my side during this important moment in my life.

Stay far away if you value respect, courtesy, and abidance of the coverage set up by the insurance policy you chose. I had a terrible, terrible experience with this office. Upon trying to set up an appointment as a new patient for an annual exam, I was told that my insurance policy required a referral. It does not. I spoke to three different individuals, including someone directly in billing, and they all told me that it was part of the policy.
I asked whose policy it was - their policy or the insurance company's - and they could not give me a clear answer but went back and forth. Upon offering to send a copy of my policy contract, they refused and told me that they had all the information they needed, and a referral was still required. I proceeded to call my insurance company for clarity, and insurance confirmed it was not necessary.
A referral is not required for "gynecological and/or obstetrical care" (photo). My insurance company even called the office directly on my behalf and told them this information, and they STILL refused care without a referral from my primary doctor. In essence, the office staff will decide if you are covered or not based on what they presume to know - mind-blowing.
Never have I heard of a doctor's office dictating coverage. What is the entire point of selecting insurance then? Since I just moved to the area, my new primary cannot see me for 4 months, and since a referral is not needed per my insurance, I will be going elsewhere, especially after the way I was treated. Staff just didn't believe that I was telling the truth, and even when handed the information directly from insurance, they still held on.
The arrogance was astounding. It appeared they cared more about being "right" and holding on to nonfactual information than about the future of the practice itself. I can almost guarantee they are losing new patients with this, beyond just myself, and I wouldn't even trust them at this point to bill correctly if I were to go. If you are a doctor at this office, I would suggest that you replace your staff with those who care about their job, care about people, and care about doing the right thing because these are the people that set the tone for the entire patient experience.

It's polite that I'm giving them a one star after the terrible years of treatment. I want to clarify that I was always treated with good care from the nursing and administrative staff. As for the physician's that cared for me, absolutely trash. I was being gaslighted about pain that I was having, misinformed on many occasions and treated with such aggressive care.
I regret not switching to another provider sooner and am really pleading that you look somewhere else before coming here. As soon as I went to another office where I was treated with such great care that it made me realize exactly how badly I was treated. Again, good nurses, NP and admin. Really inconsiderate Doctors.

I didn't find Dr. Cook to have very good bedside manner. She was gentle when she did the exam, but some of the things she said to me seemed condescending and rude. I wasn't too impressed, I also followed up her because I'm still having issues and she blew me off a bit. I won't be coming back to this location, whoever I had the first time was way better

I give my experience 1 star. I called, made an appointment, and completed all the paper work prior to my visit. I get to my appointment and I got my weight and blood pressure taken. I get brought into a nurses office only for them to tell me my BMI is over their limit and because that could lead to me being a high risk pregnancy.they can't take me.
On their website, it says " We maintain a technologically advanced practice, and our obstetricians are well equipped and experienced in handling all aspects of high-risk pregnancy including high blood pressure." Now I understand. I am a heavy woman for my age and height. I also understand facilities can have cut offs but when they advertise that they can do "ALL ASPECTS" of high risk pregnancies. then why did they turn me away?
My experience continued with the staff member that told me this info was not very sincere about it. If anything it made me very uncomfortable and upset especially since this is my very first pregnancy. She gave me recommendations on who could help me and I felt like she was rushing me out. I understand they have patients to see but I was just in shock of what she just told me.
I am a currently in nursing school so time management is everything. I just wish they would have determined they couldn't have taken me before I took off an hour and a half from school time. On their paper work they ask for everything except height and weight. They could have determined my BMI before I got to the office with that info but instead I wasted my time. For women who are considered overweight and pregnant. I don't recommend trying this office.

After seeing 3 other doctors, this was the first time I was thoroughly checked out. Dr. J. Cook was very patient and explained things to me so I really understood. She listened and talked to me. I didn't feel like I was being rushed at all. I felt very comfortable with her and you don't seem to be able to find that in a doctor any more. I didn't have to wait a long time either. I highly recommend them. Great office staff too.

I have delivered 2 babies with this clinic and cannot recommend them enough. I have worked with Shelley and Dr. Scogin for regular OB appointments and they have always been very attentive, reactive and caring. I delivered with Dr. Agrios and Ronnie Jo and they both did such an amazing job. I have to highlight Ronnie Jo, as she is always very reactive and compassionate to my concerns.
She helped me stick to my birth plan even when it didn't go exactly as I had hoped. Dr. Lobst did my sons circumcision and was incredibly gentle and thorough. Overall I am very glad I chose this clinic and would recommend their staff to anyone.

I have been a patient at All About Women since moving to Florida ten years ago. I have seen Dr. Joseph Iobst in both "good times and bad, " and his gentle demeanor and thoroughness are traits that I really appreciate. I have total confidence in him and his staff and I'm happy to say they have always exceeded my expectations.

I had a terrible experience with an OB and the administration. The OB was condescending and acted like she cared more about my twins that I did because I questioned her. She clearly doesn't trust a woman's body to work so assumes she must intervene. She said my body might "forget" there are 2 babies and that's why she needs to pull the second one down before giving the baby a chance to come down on her own.
She also tried to guilt me into getting an epidural. Guess what, I switched practices and had a natural birth with no epidural and the babies came out without being pulled down. The administration is difficult to reach and I've been calling for months about an insurance issue that could cost me thousands of dollars.
