Wasilla Medical Clinic

I've been here a few times over the years and have always been treated very well. I've always received follow up calls to make sure the meds were working and I especially like the latest doc they have. I don't go often enough to recall his name but he was very nice and had me in and out quickly with no issues. He also knew I was going to a pain clinic and what meds I was on at the time and did not treat me like I was out "drug seeking", which too many doctors do when they know you see a pain doctor.

I was not looking for pain relief or anything like that, just antibiotics and was very happy to see that he realized this. I would go again the next time I'm sick, for sure. Nobody wants to be treated badly or talked down to, and not all pain patients are out trying to get drugs. We should be treated decently until there's a reason to suspect us of something.

I had been experiencing dizzyness for 10 days, I had gone to matsu ER a few days beforehand and they only gave a covid test. The first doctor that I saw here might have been a student but was still helpful, the second doctor came in to verify and found the results of fluid in my ear. Thank goodness for these people.

My children were refused service just today 12/07/21 on account of my husband and I will not force our 8, 4 and 2 year olds to wear a mask and myself having a medical exemption also would not wear one. I informed the staff that medical and personal freedom still exists and the provider said not unless I wear a mask it doesnt. No ma'am, I will not force your fear on my family. We took our business elsewhere!

Their only saving Grace is that they have a Dr. who has dealt with Graves' disease. My Fiance has graves and went in to get his blood drawn to check his levels so they could refill his medication. They received the results the next day but didn't give them to us until 11 days later and ONLY because we went into the office to ask why it was taking so long! They even have his correct phone number on file. This is the third time they have failed to give him information or contact him when they were supposed to.

I needed to have an immunization form filled out for my University and Wasilla Medical was a great option since they are walk in only! I was there for about 30 minutes total, and did not wait very long with only one other person ahead of me. The staff was kind and I was happy to get in and out quickly.

Friendly and efficient front office staff. Provider staff, both physician and nurse practitioner are knowledgeable (I'm a nurse) and compassionate. I have been there several times over the past two years and service is consistent. I am grateful to them because as a result of their care and recommendations I was diagnosed with bladder cancer at a very early stage which saved me from having to having chemotherapy and extensive surgery. I have always gotten a follow up call within a couple of days of my visits.

I've come here many times for my two kids. Incredibly friendly staff, and always a quick visit. The providers every time, have gone above and beyond my expectations during our visits. I highly recommend this clinic, they are wonderful with toddlers and babies and have you leaving feeling good about the entire visit.

I was seen before closing for a sprained ankle. I did not have to wait, and staff very quickly had me x-rayed and examined. They could not see a break in the X-ray, but said someone would call me the next day with a doctor's report. No one ever called. I called back to find out my results after I was still having a lot of pain in my ankle, and just wanted to be sure there wasn't some small break. The report was clear. I just had soft tissue damage. So the folks are nice but sometimes the follow-up might not be spot on.

After my primary care doctor left medical Park family practice the new doctor that I met with wouldn't even shake my hand when she came into the office and jumped back like I had the plague because I was complaining of a sore throat, I mean don't you wash your hands in between patients? Plus you're around sick people all day maybe you should look for another job if you're afraid of germs.

Plus some of the front office people weren't exactly the most friendly around. ANYWAYS.So a few months go by and I'm not feeling good, and I come upon this place. I figure I will give it a try. Not only were the front office staff wonderful the nurses were wonderful and the doctor was just as polite, professional, and knowledgeable as could be as well. I will continue to use these folks for my medical needs, and I cannot recommend them enough!

I went in with my son based on a good report from a friend and I was not disappointed. Many urgent care clinics are full of cold and grumpy staff members - this one is not! It's not fancy but that's not what I'm after. The staff is organized and caring. The doc was awesome and genuinely cared for my son. He made me feel comfortable to call back if I was nervous about my son's illness for any reason and pop in to have him checked if I was just passing by. I will NEVER go anywhere else after my awesome experience with this medical team!
