Ms. Glover may not have known that I was very, very anxious, but her calm, playful, and very knowledgeable demeanor was perfect. She had me relaxed and prepared for each step of the process. I would highly recommend this entire office for the kind, efficient, and well-versed staff. Thank you for a job well done, y'all!
Acne is one of the most common skin conditions; it affects both adolescents and adults. Our patients often worry about the appearance of acne and the social embarrassment it may cause. Acne often initially occurs during adolescence. A combination of hormones, genetics, environmental factors, and bacteria are major contributors to this condition.
Actinic Keratosis (AK) is a scaly spot found on sun-damaged skin. Also known as solar keratosis, it is a precancerous or an early form of Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Many patients who get Actinic Keratosis have fair skin. Most people see their first Actinic Keratoses after 40 years of age because Actinic Keratoses tend to develop after years of sun exposure.
Your skin is your body's first line of defense against the sun, harsh weather, and other forms of environmental assault. How your skin ages depend on a variety of factors including your lifestyle, diet, heredity, and other personal habits. Skin changes come with age. Over time your skin may become rougher or develop lesions.

(Current patient) Staff are pleasant, facilities are nice but each time I try to make an appointment for any type of laser service they're booked for two months out. AND I have to drive from Madisonville to Slidell for the service. Wish they'd hire another person to get everyone in and get another machine for the Mandeville area. Level-up

I came in for what I thought was a rash all over my body and the nurse practitioner barely examined me before declaring it was a viral infection and that "if it didn't clear up in 2-3 months to come back". I went to my general doctor and he could immediately tell it was ring worm all over my body and told me a cream that costs five dollars at Walmart and it cleared it up in three days.
They could not diagnose a simple RINGWORM they were gonna let me sit there with it for months before they tried any medication. Horrible service and horrible treatment I would highly recommend going any where else but here because WebMD knows more than these people.

I haven't been to the dermatologist in years, I was kind of nervous, but Melanie and Stephanie were great and eased those nerves. Stephanie was so calm and sweet and her work really reflected how much she enjoys her job. I will definitely be back in the future and would recommend this office to anyone from the experience I had.

We saw Dr Tabor about some scary looking moles and some acne issues with my kids. He was great with the moles and had biopsies done on all tissue he removed. For the acne issues his prescribed medicines are costly, but we tried Proactive first and it was not doing the job so we came to Northshore. When we took the stuff he prescribed it worked quickly.
One son has oily and the other dry skin and he sorted them both out. In response to the other reviews my wife and I found him engaging and friendly, but I was raised in Yankee country.

I called and asked to see the dermatologist and was scheduled an appointment. Upon arriving I was told they scheduled me with a Nurse Practitioner. I don't mind seeing an NP for certain things, but If I am paying for a specialist co-pay, I would like to see the specialist. Also, if you schedule me to see an NP, I felt I should've been told over the phone.
I was never told that I would not be seeing a broad certified dermatologist. I don't believe he was even there. The NP the burned off a spot of my leg, that I was asking about without even bothering to take a second to decide if it needed a biopsy. The office felt dirty, and after seeing how dirty it was, I don't believe I would have even given consent for a biopsy. I would suggest seeing a dermatologist in an office over by Lakeview.

I feel the last couple of times I have been here the Doctor did not spend anytime with me and barely glanced at my problem. He did not even sit down and talk to me on either occasion. Then prescribed $800 itch cream for a rash and $500 cream for another skin condition without even consulting on cost or cheaper alternatives.
