Dr callison is the most professional physician; aside from professionalism she has a way of connecting with her patients and offering exceptional care - she truly CARES, takes time to listen, give hugs that heal your heart at that time, puts your concerns at ease by always offering the medical advice of a seasoned OBGYN but also as what feels like a friend.
I have recommended her time after time. Having moved around as an adult and finding that this type of physician is the most essential to women as our women a health care needs change over time; I couldn't recommend her any more highly. I've not met a physician in any specialty that offers the quality of care that she and her staff provide - the entire group of providers and nurses are kind, caring, professional and put their patients needs first.
From pregnancy needs to gynecological care I seriously can't say enough good things! This review is the very least I can do to express my gratitude for her care for me and my health over the years.

My experience with Dr. Callison and the staff have been overall positive. Dr. Callison listens to my worries and offers reasonable and realistic solutions that suit me. The staff I've encountered have all been friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I currently don't have insurance, so I had to pay up front (not the issue). I ended up getting a bill later on for the amount I had already paid before my visit plus an extra ~$70 amount.
I called to inquire about the bill and the amount I had already paid was removed with no problems, but apparently since I had asked questions to the PA after my exam, that had counted as an office visit outside of the exam. I didn't realize I would be charged for asking questions. It would be nice to have complete billing transparency for self-pay patients prior to the visit with the doctor, or maybe not bill extra for a patient asking questions (is there a limit of number of questions before it counts as an extra visit? I don't know). Next time I'll know to keep my mouth shut if I don't have a spare ~$70 to spend.

Dr. Mann is amazing. I have super bad anxiety especially when it comes to going to the gyno and haven't went for 3 years until yesterday. She was so understanding and I feel like she truly cares about me and my issues. She sat down with me and talked to me quite awhile. I have really bad periods, and she gave me the care I deserve. I would highly recommend Dr. Mann to anyone.

Took my wife here for period pains and I am sickened by the treatment she received by both the staff and professionals! Making the appointment was almost impossible for starters which we should have taken that as a sign. My wife saw Dr. Karen and Karen wanted to just put her on birth control without even checking to see if the medicine would conflict with any of her existing health issues. OR offering us anything else like maybe an ultrasound or some blood work even. MY WIFE had to be the one to express concern and tell Karen that due to her having Aura migraines she cant take the birth control that Dr. Karen wanted her to try. Dr. Karen said it would be fine and shouldn't effect that.
I've been with my wife through a lot and the medicine she prescribed was a newer birth control that contained both estrogen and progestin which could lead her to ultimately having a stroke. A STROKE PEOPLE. Dr. Karen kept talking over us and brushing us off seeming like she was to busy to give us the time of day even! Finally Karen gave in and gave my wife a different birth control and we just nodded and tried to get out of there as soon as possible.
Currently trying to find my wife ANYONE knowledgeable and caring in this field because I am almost certain it does NOT exist here at this clinic. My wife wants to brush past this and just ignore it but the people should know what an awful Dr. she is!

Dr Karen is truly a despicable person. She is patronizing and dismissive of any issues or questions you may have. If you are not a pregnant women, she couldn't care less about your existence, let alone your health. She is lazy when it comes to her work and it takes her weeks to do things that should take a few days. Her practice is nothing more than a kangaroo court and I would highly suggest that you go anywhere but here. If you care about your health in any capacity I am begging you, GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

I have been a patient of Dr. Raiford for many years. Over all I have been happy with her care. However, I have found her administrative staff to be rude and unhelpful. Most recently I tried to schedule my yearly exam and was told I would not be able to do that until I paid a $20 missed appointment fee from single missed appointment in August 2019.
As I keep all appointments in my phone backed up on my iCloud I looked back and did not have record of this appointment. After a 17 minute hold to find out what the charge was for, being disconnected, calling back and then requesting to speak with the office manager I was rudely told that they would not reverse the missed appointment fee despite that fact that my chart shows I do not habitually miss appointments.
Furthermore she informed me that I was fortunate that they had not sent me to collections of a one time missed appointment fee of $20. Tonight I paid the $20 fee and Monday I will look for a new doctor! Dr. Raiford, I hope you see this I enjoyed the care I received from you and your nurses, but the administrative team at your office leaves a lot to be desired. It is a common complaint I hear from your patients. Several of whom I originally sent your way.

No Nonsense Quality Care by Strong Women for Strong Women I have been Dr. Raiford's patient for 10+ years - she's 100% professional and clinically sound, with a wicked sense of humor. Had a little "scare" last year and she didn't waste a minute to investigate. Thankfully all was well. I had been searching for a GP for years, and I recently signed on with Amanda Harris, Dr. Raiford's nurse practitioner, and I couldn't be happier.
She listens to everything, and she is just sooooo easy to talk to. Love the receptionist too - she always makes me smile on the way out the door. Sometimes I do feel they overbook - probably to service everyone. Bring a good book - they're worth it. I just love them. Lots of good people here.

The audacity of the clinic staff is unbelievable. They were rude and actually told a client she was a bad mother while she was trying to make an appointment. The reason they called her that was because she had been trying to work out an issue and missed two appointments while waiting for them to get back to her with a solution. Women especially should be supportive of each other, not judgmental or condescending.
You are being paid to provide a service and the only one qualified to give advice or medical opinions is the Doctor, not a glorified desk jockey with no medical training. All that to say if you want to be trested like you are incompetent before you ever meet a medical professional please by all means choose this clinic. This is not a complaint about any of the Doctors on staff this is in regards to the nurse and the receptionist and the receptionist manger.
I would name names but since it was more than one person I believe this is an issue with the whole clinic. For your sanity choose a clinic that cares about their clients well being more than their own self righteous unfounded opinions.

I thought long and hard before deciding to post but my crazy pregnancy hormones just won't let it go and I think everyone should know before picking their doctor here. I love the set up and tempo of this office. I had been seeing Dr. Perkins for 20 weeks and I have absolutely loved her! My only negative comment would be she did brush off my sciatic nerve pain as round ligament pain.
Which anyone who has had both would gladly tell you they are nothing alike. When I came in for my 24 week check up Dr. Perkins left on maternity leave and Dr. Mann stepped in. From then on it has been down hill. At that appointment I addressed concerns I had about my husband waking me up in panic for a week saying I would stop breathing in my sleep and gasp for air when i started trying to breathe again.
She proceeded to tell me that many pregnant women have sleep apnea and that it could potentially be very dangerous for me and my unborn child. That I should really see a sleep specialist. I asked her could she refer me to one considering I had not yet found a primary care physician at that time. And she refused. Leaving me with 2 months before I could get in with a specialist to do a study. 2 months of my unborn child being in potential danger bc a dr was too lazy to just do her job.
I also voiced the concern at that appointment that the genetic testing that I was offered and that I told them I 100% wanted had not been done yet. Dr. Mann had no idea what genetic testing even was at this point. She asked was the genetic testing a 4-D ultrasound. She said she would ask dr Perkins what I was talking about and let me know at my next appointment. Ofcourse by the next appointment it was way too late and she lied and said that it couldn't be done past 16 weeks therefore it wasn't her fault but it was okay that I missed it anyway. (In my opinion when an expecting mother is denied the proper care that she wants it is NEVER okay) The paper work that Perkins gave me on this specific quad test said anywhere from 16-22 weeks.
So if she had done her job in the beginning I could have had it done. Dr Mann has neglected to listen to anything I have said And she has been rude and denied me proper care from the minute she took over from Perkins. If I wasn't so close to my due date and Perkins wasn't coming back in a few weeks I would never step foot in that office again. I 100% do not recommend Dr. Mann. She is very young and it is very obvious. I would however recommend Dr. Perkins. And I have heard amazing things about Raiford.

I just moved to the area, so part of that is getting new doctors established. What a pain! Anyway, found this place and scheduled. My appointment was at 8:45 and they didn't even call me back until 30 min past my appointment. That annoys me. I hate wasting my time. And time off work. They scheduled my next years appointment already, so at least there is that. It was a little tough to find, but look for the Women's Pavilion building.

My daughter was taken care of by Dr Raiford and Dr Perkins. She is a high risk patient, (kidney transplant) and was treated with stellar care throughout her pregnancy. She ended up in the hospital for 6 weeks and I felt her care was exceptional the entire time by both doctors. I would not trust anyone else to care for her but these women. She had a healthy baby boy because of their care and highly recommend them.

While I do love my gyno, I haven't seen her in over a year despite having four appointments. I waited two and half hours for an annual last month only to be pushed off to wait in deserted waiting room of the filing office before being given a pap, in a room where none of the lights worked. Just me, my vagina, the spotlight and a window with open blinds (in the direction my vagina is pointed).
Currently I've been here two hours waiting on a follow up. I am one of two people left in a previously packed waiting for area. Every person who was here before me is gone, and every person but one who as here after me is gone. But you better believe they've already taken the $200 fee for today.

I am a patient of Dr. Callison's and let me tell you, this chick is amazing! She is super down to earth and really cares about her patients. I've been going to her for a few years now and dread the day she decides to retire. Callison delievered my daughter last year with 7-8 hours of labor, no pain during delivery, and healed quickly afterwards. Callison is honest and tells you her professional opinion, but she doesn't make you feel bad if you have questions or concerns. Thank you, Dr. Callison! You are awesome!

Have had nothing but a positive experience with this office. Its a busy practice but I don't feel like a number; everything is personal. I know other women that come to this office and have had nothing but nice things. I had been looking for an OB for around 4 years and was referred to her. I won't ever go anywhere else.

This practice may come highly recommended. People either love it or hate it. If you want a female OBGYN and not get to ask any questions, then this is the place for you. Some people really like following a doctor blindly, giving them all the responsibility and the worry. The wait is extremely long no matter your appointment. My OBGYN didn't want to be questioned in any way and I always felt she was in a huge hurry during my appointments. Treated like a number, not a person. One of the other docs yelled at my mom while I was in the hospital recovering, saying she was too busy to answer any questions. Stay away, stay away!
