Seems like most of the bad reviews on here are a couple years old, so here is my more recent take. My kids love this doctor's office. Everyone who has ever helped has been nice and knowledgeable and patient with my fears and concerns as a parent.

This office is great. My son saw Dr Bronald until we PCSd. She's amazing and truly listens to you and your concerns. She doesn't make you feel judged. We miss her and this office!

Dr. Voegtlen was an unprofessional pediatrician out there. We used to see him 2.5 years ago for a long time until we moved. Everytime I had a concern about my four kids and their delays he'd blame me. Kid wasn't talking? People aren't talking enough. Kid not walking? He wasn't being given opportunity to walk, yet get rid of the walker toy you have because that's a hazard.

But the *worst* thing he did was trying hard to pressure my son into the HPV vaccine by saying, and I quote, "you can catch cancer." I told him off and said to my son I had HPV and had pre-cancer and hadn't died and the doctor had the audacity to state, "not yet." I'm glad we left the area because we no longer had to see this doctor, but he should have been reported a long time ago.

2.5yr old Daughter came in after being under the weather for about a week. Originally nothing to worry about but symptoms progressed. Took her into the Dr. He Asked a few questions and gave her a covid test and that was it. Maybe 10min in the office and they said that was it. Covid test came back negative after calling the office for hours to get the results when they were promised almost a day later.

When we got the results there was no advice or follow up appointment/recommendation for what to do next. Being fed up, my wife took our daughter to urgent care and immediately they diagnosed her illness as a double ear infection in less than 5 minutes. Seems like unless it's covid they could care less? I'm just confused why there was no investigation or remedy on finding a solution for her illness. Will be seeking a new office.

I've been bringing my boys to see Dr. Melody Bronold since my oldest was around 2 and my youngest since he was born nearly 11 yrs ago. KCC has always been fair and friendly. Front Office Staff has been diligent, informative & helpful. Our doctor is wonderful, thorough, helpful, very knowledgable, caring, compassionate & her bedside manner is respectable.

We've encountered many Assistants over the years as they've changed out, but we were always called back & greeted with smiles & positive energy. Anytime our PCP wasn't available for a medical concern, we were redirected to another available doctor who could see my kids for a same-day appt and not have to go to urgent care or otherwise. They do a 3 "missed appt & we can no longer see you" clause, but I believe it's fair in understanding that both the doctors time & patients time are valuable.

So if a patient (or their corresponding parent) fails to no-show/no call and misses an appt, that means each of those slots could have been filled with another sick patient needing to be seen sooner than later. Having worked in a medical & scheduling field, I can understand this scheduling clause & feel it's fair while there are many parents who would complain.

As a parent, it's my responsibility to ensure I get my kids to their appts and/or call to cancel/reschedule as needed. I've never considered moving my kids to another pediatrician or clinic since we've always been treated well here. I would encourage parents to consider this clinic for their kids if they're in search of a new Pediatrician.

I will start this with the only positive- Dr. Bronold is very personable and friendly. If you do go here I would only recommend seeing her. The ARNP she works with (James Ronan) should not have a job. I have my BSN and this guy Acts like he has less education than me. I worked as a Trauma ER Nurse for 5 years and when a child comes in with high fever we Always recommended Tylenol AND Ibuprofen-one every 3 hours to stay on top of fever.

I personally know several pediatricians in my home state (Texas) that recommend this as well. My son has pneumonia and the dr at the hospital said to give Tylenol then 3 hours later ibuprofen, followed again by Tylenol 3 hours after that. This has helped us control my 18 month olds temp from not going over 101 at home since his discharge from the hospital. James Ronan at this clinic has said not to do that and it's "wrong" and dr at the hospital was "incompetent" for prescribing this (the Dr at the hospital was actually one of the best and most intelligent physicians my son has seen). I will not return to this clinic and highly advise everyone to stay away. If I followed his advise my son might be dead by now.

My son was seen at Kitsap Children's Clinic since he was born. As my son got older his doctor became more and more aggumentive if I asked a question. He was impatient and down right burnt out. There was a huge difference in him. We moved out of state for a year and came back. I decided my son should have a new doctor after 15 years. It was sad. We started seeing a new doctor at Kitsap Children's Clinc.

They recommended her, she was awful! She was looking through his file and told me, "he hasn't been to the doctor in an entire year!" I told her we moved out of state for a year. He did see a doctor. She make a lot of accusations implying I was a bad mother. I corrected her every statement nicely and politly. She had no time to apologize. Then said "well I need to be alone with your son." Which I have an older daughter and was fine with it.

She went on and on about why I needed to leave. She didn't talk to my son at all. She made my son so uncomfortable. She had zero bedside manner. She wasn't caring but aggressive and strong willed. Acting as though she was in charge of me. Not even my son. I was quiet and didn't say anything. I knew we would never go back. We left before the appointment ended.

I was very nice and polite about it but I wish I could have filed a complaint. We saw three doctors there and they were all the same. Know it all attitude, aggressive, and burnt out. I can see why their rating is so low. It's not just me. Too bad.

I used to go to Kitsap Children's Clinic when I was a child and now all my children go here. I've never had any issues with the doctors and all the nurses are very friendly. They do offer flu vaccines as my children get them every year but you must be a current patient.

Dr. Bronald is wonderful. Very thorough and a good listener. They do have flu vaccines, my kids get them every year. The nurses are also delightful. We have been going to the clinic for my own children for over 13 years and have seen other providers from the clinic and have been well-cared for by each.

Disappointed that a pediatric clinic doesn't offer flu vaccines. We were told to find an outside pharmacy that gives them - without any suggestions. Unfortunately, most local pharmacies do not have protocols to vaccinate 2-3 year old children. Not sure if the clinic's decision not to carry basic, CDC-recommended vaccinations is laziness, cost-cutting, or simple neglect - but it certainly speaks to the level of care young patients and their parents may receive. Some of the providers are good, but as a whole the care is simply not up to standards.
