I started seeing Dr. Paris back in about 2005. He help me to process through a lot of shame and anger and trauma that wasn't dealt with for a long time in my life. I decided to reach out for some help after a failed relationship. I was pretty crushed. After a few months of weekly therapy, he offered the option to try medication along with psychotherapy because it was the most effective combination.
He had me take a few different tests. I experienced very effective results with ConcertaER. I am very thankful that the first medication that I was put on worked as well as it does. Being more focused and less impulsive has been very healthy for having stable relationships. Scott tracked my weight and sleeping patterns and moods and blood pressure while he was finding the right dose that was working with my brain and my body.
He was very professional and ethical about the way he worked with me and building up my medication dosage. I never felt like I was being pressured. It was always my choice. I am still currently managing my ADHD Responsibly with medication. Unfortunately my employer changed their insurance after several years of working with Dr. Paris and we were no longer able to continue our therapeutic relationship. Scott was always kind, compassionate and very professional.
I do not believe that I would be where I am at today if you would not have helped me with medication as well as psychotherapy. The only way a therapist is going to be able to truly help you as if you are 100% honest with them, and 100% honest with yourself. I would highly recommend Scott Paris and Paris psychiatry. RBI was great.

Rainer Behavioral Institute is without a doubt the best psychiatric institute you can find in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Paris treats each of his patients with the the most upmost respect and he really listens and wants to help. From the time you enter the practice and are greeted by the friendly front desk staff, to the time you leave the office, you feel like your time is valued and all of your needs are met. Dr. Paris gives individual attention to all his patients and is passionate about what he does.
I reccommend RBI to anyone who is seeking help and I know they will be in great hands in Dr. Paris' care. I am thankful for RBI and for the many ways Dr. Paris has helped me and for all the ways he will continue to help me in the future. 5/5 -- best psychiatric doctor out there! Thank you Dr. Paris!

I admire Scott going to rbi this really helps he's very understanding and I'd recomend it to any one who needs to talk. At first when I started to attend, I thought I didnt need it, That it wouldnt help me But I was wrong. With my adhd and all I do need quideness and help and he does help me. Sometimes I do have bad days, But he helps me through it and at the end I feel much better.
When I first met a councler was years and years ago and I dont think I want to change my therapist. Hes a great person who listens and gives great advice on what to do. Ive been better and better every day I go. Give it a chance and youll see a much better diffarance. Yes Things do get hard but we can work at them to make them better.

Scott always listens to what ever I have to say, regardless of how off the wall it ia. he is very patient with me getting past my own boundaries, such as things I want to talk about. It can be as easy as talking about today's events, or talking about something deep. I would recommend him as a therapist to anyone, you get out of it what you put into it, and I like his balanced approach of chemical and cognitive treatments, rather than making the patient only pick from one pocket of the proverbial mental health toolbag. If you're willing to roll u p your sleeves and work on your issues, I'm confident he can help you find resolution or at least, management.

I'm going to start this review out that I am 27 years old, and I am a young woman. Scott has never ever made me feel uncomfortable in any of my sessions, and if I did he would ask me if I was uncomfortable and if we would like to move on to another topic. He has helped me immensely in my journey with my depression, and has truly been an outlet of where I can come to him about anything and not feel judged.
I think that's the most important thing you can have between a patient and a therapist. Scott, has been vital to my recovery and progress, and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.

After 15+ years of dealing significant anxiety issues and panic attacks, I've seen a number of mental health professionals in an effort to find a way to deal with or eliminate what had turned out to be a constant, daily, debilitating state of mind which ultimately unwilling to leave my house. I was prescribed Xanax by my general doctor after trying a number of medications at the suggestions of my GP and other psychologists and psychiatrists that I'd seen over the years.
The xanax while initially helpful, was Not a solution but merely a band aid that created an additional set of of problems. After roughly 4 or 5 years of using Xanax to minimize the occurrence and severity of panic attacks, i had stopped living life and anxiety had ultimately taken over my life. I felt like I was unable to participate if life because I was so overwhelmed with fear and anxiety.
I decided to make one last effort to address my anxiety and found Dr. Paris. I have been seeing Dr. Paris for over 6 months now and I am truly indebted to him for giving me my life back. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Paris for helping me understand the true nature of the things I was dealing with and more importantly, how to eliminate the fear and anxiety that ruled my life. 6months ago I never Imagined It possible for the anxiety and panic to not only be non existent but that I would feel like myself again and love my life and cherish the lives around me. Simply put, dr Paris Helped me get my life back, my kids their father, and my wife her husband back.

Scott Paris and RBI are great. Scott is really interactive with you and is someone you can be really comfortable around. A lot of other psycologists and they seem kind of robotic in the way they treat things. You can tell Mr Paris is passionate about what he does and generally wants to help you. He takes your problems as his own and is a keen listener.
He's very understanding and helpful to me and my current issues. Hell make long terms goals for you and help you accomplish them. Other than that really its a very comfortable and friendly place and you'll have no problems there! I recommend it 100%.

I have been seeing Scott Paris for several months now. He is different than any previous therapist I have had. He is intelligent, sensitive and very knowledgeable about mental health issues. He can also prescribe medications and treats the who.e person. I have made much progress in my recovery from depression since seeing Scott.

A.R.N.P Scott P. is a clinician familiar with medications used in the mental health arena. He works with me and listens carefully to my input concerning medication decisions. I seriously appreciate that! I always leave my session feeling like he appreciates me, even if I spend the whole time complaining. And I always feel free to just be myself. I have been seeing him off and on for 4 years.
