Cascade Orthopaedics - Bonney Lake

First time visit after many years of surgeries from another dr. Felt very comfortable and staff was very friendly. Dr Chen took his time with me and offered several options to consider. Wanted a new set of eyes to look at my back to see if I can avoid more surgeries and will likely be staying with this office full of experienced Dr's. Thank you for getting me in so quickly.

First time patient. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous. The Dr. was very nice and very informative. He explained the problem and the medical procedure. I'm glad a found a good Orthopedic Doctor.

My ankle surgery went very well. IDr Carlson and staff, both at his office and at the surgery center were very professional, thoughtful, and and kind, and did their jobs very well. I was never nervous or uncomfortable the whole time. They all made me feel safe and secure. Thank you all for your wonderful care.

Was sent to Dr Kearny for a second opinion on a very complex case. Dr Kearny confirmed the problem but during the process he seriously lacked a patient centric attitude. He admittedly had to google information that he did not know about my situation, which I believe upset him. Due to his lack of knowledge he tried to force an unethical mandate on my primary care provider and when they denied his blatant request he flipped out!

He was outwardly frustrated at the appt and then there was some confusion (due to his nurse and comments she made on how the process worked), And, rather than show compassion on the complex situation and work through it calmly, Dr Kearny showed his true self, he made it worse because he was aggressive, off base, out of line and completely unwilling to listen.

All of this results in my care being delayed. If the doctor had the ability to calm himself down and rationally think through the situation, we would've had the ability to work through the confusion for the benefit of the patient (who is suffering and has been suffering for months!) However Due to his own lack of knowledge he makes an unethical request and then denies your care because he is headstrong, unwilling to listen, and unfortunately these results delay patient care.

Very disappointing because I've been treated by two other doctors at the clinic who were amazing and I would have nothing but good to say about them. Very disappointing to have this interaction with this new doctor. I won't see him again, I'd rather delay my own care and find a new doctor than have him do surgery on me. Thank you for your response, I did call and left a message with Cassandra on Monday and didn't get a call back today. I was going to call on Friday after my appointment but thought I'd give it until Monday with him. My number is on file And I left it in the voicemail as well.

We love Dr. Martin and his MA! Our son is finally walking after his knee injury! It was indeed a journey for our family. The "surgery center" people may need more customer service training though. Their front desk should observe how cascade ortho clinic front desk staff deal with patients. One has excellent rapport and empathy with their walk-ins while the other has more areas to improve on. Dr. Martin, PACU nurse and anesthesiologist were awesome but that was it.

The entire staff at Cascade is amazing. From beginning to end, my surgeries went extremely well. The thorough preparation, the caring staff and the excellent and gifted surgeon, Dr. Strafford made me so comfortable and my results have been outstanding. Thank you for all that you have done.

Amazing experience once again! Can't recommend Dr. Chen enough. Very educated in his field, has great info and resources. The entire team makes appts very pleasant from start to finish. Excited to continue my care at Cascade orthopedic!

The procedure (PRP) went very smoothly and quickly. Dr. Kearney was great about letting me know exactly what was happening (and going to happen), which lowered my anxiety level practically to nil. I would recommend him without any reservations to anyone who needs help with a hip problem.

Every aspect of my visit with Dr. Chen was excellent. Administrative staff highly professional and friendly. His medical assistant was professional, helpful, and efficient. And Dr. Chen himself was VASTLY superior to a handful of doctors (orthopaedists and physiatrists) I've seen for hip pain over the last handful of years. He made a diagnosis that was completely different from my prior diagnoses - and the exercises he prescribed have made a HUGE difference in just a week.

I do a lot of walking and hiking and am looking forward to continuing to enjoy nature pain-free. Excellent physician; highly knowledgeable, and with a very pleasant and caring demeanor. I recommend him highly and without reservation.
