Services
Redlands Community Hospital has been caring for the people of the Redlands area and neighboring communities since 1903. We broke ground at 350 Terracina Blvd. in 1929; we have been steadily expanding over the years but remain a non-for-profit, independent and standalone hospital. Our Patients First commitment has consistently brought us excellent safety and patient satisfaction scores.
Redlands Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, 229-bed acute care facility, and growing! Although officially founded and incorporated in 1929, RCH's history has roots dating back to 1903 when Redlands opened its first medical facility. Our Programs and Services with more than 1,800 employees, 300 physicians, and more than 300 volunteers, provide acute care services that adhere to the highest standards. We are equipped with the latest medical technology and staffed with highly qualified physicians practicing in over 25 medical specialties.
Nursing is a rewarding and highly respected career. Redlands Community Hospital values its nursing staff because nurses are the "front line" of the hospital, providing the personal contact with patients necessary to maintain quality patient care. Skilled, experienced nurses ensure a foundation for consistent, compassionate care for every patient, while also serving as mentors for new nurses.
Like me, you probably know someone who has contracted the virus, is struggling to regain their health or has lost a loved one. Perhaps your child or grandchild has been sheltering at home, their education impacted by distance learning. We limit our trips to the grocery store and hope we don't contract the virus.

I was in at 10 AM to. ESRI/RCH ER. Told I needed saline solution and possible overnight stay for blood sugar so low could lead to a seizure. I walked out at 4PM untreated. Saturday 6:04 now, 26 hours later. I've taken two walks to the store in the heat today after sleeping it off and feel great. Need solution, yes, but sensationalistic psychodrama that doesn't exist outside. Crowded. Take your time. Go in early & when comfortable. Opens 8:30 AM. Arrange for a ride who can wait there. YOU have the right to refuse treatment.

Everyone was very sweet. i don't remember all the names of the nurses around me but one of them was nicole. They were always around to help me and were very kind. I went in for a breast lumpectomy at 5 am and came out around 11 that same day. This was the first time i had ever had surgery. They were all very patient and sweet.

As has been the case for many, many years the Emergency Department needs more help, it needs another Doctor. Millions were spent on a new ER but just as the old ER was, it's an all day affair of waiting, waiting for someone to do something, anything, having patients in distress going hours & hours, having to get up & check with staff "why have I been left here, forgotten about for so long with no updates?." I am thankful for these employees, they have been through so much these last two years, I do wish there was more help to get patients in & out though.

DO NOT COME HERE. Hit the "pain" button multiple times on my remote and they never came to the point where I had to call someone by phone to which they'd take about 20 more minutes to reach someone who could actually help, mind you, I'm doing this all when my pain level is at an 8/10. What is the point of even having a pain button? Most of the nurses and staff here were extremely rude and the process for everyone is extremely slow. Stayed here for 5 days and everyday was pure torture.
The nursing staff is extremely loud all night long, even with the door closed. My doctor didn't visit me not one time during my stay, only nurses. They ran out of supplies and asked me to accommodate to their ineptness. I'm furious. The bedside manners of this staff is the equivalent to a correctional officer. Absolutely terrible. I cannot believe this is what medical care is. Shame on you all. I was reading some of the other reviews and one stuck out to me that I just wholeheartedly agree with. This place disgusts me.

Redlands Billing Department Spoke to Cristine from billing many times. first time in December regarding medical bill for my son for $250, when I called regarding the bill and what did it cover for OT for my son with autism, she said it covered 3 months. The supervisor Monique never called when I had questions regarding this bill back in December. February got another bill for $975.
Again they said it covered 3 months. Another month went by and got a bill for $1000. my insurance takes 3 months to process bills so by then I discovered my sons therapies were $250 each session for 30 min/week of OT/playing time. mostly for months December and January. By February I had to cancelled therapy because surprise bills just kept coming.
They were kind enough to offer financial aid because I had quit my job in January, but its the principal and incompetence that infuriates me and had to pay more than 2000 dollars for OT.

Be sure to annoy the workers as much as possible or else you don't be prioritized. If you're a decent human being who isn't obnoxious, you'll be sitting around for literal hours. No communication. Slowest ER I've ever been to. Workers don't care and it shows. Left after sitting in a chair for 6 hours with no service. Only thing that happened is I got transferred from one waiting room to another. This place really disgusts me.

This place was good when I first started going here but now it's just very slow, a lot of the workers here are rude and earlier today I went to go to the emergency room with my girlfriend and they said I couldn't go in so I just waited in my car and then I get a call from my girlfriend saying " the nurse said you can be in here with me " so the guy nurse walked out and looked for me, as soon as the whole process was done an old lady nurse rudely came in and told me I can't be in here and then she was also being extremely rude to my girlfriend and didn't even help her for an extra couple hours. This place has just gone down hill. I definitely don't recommend it

My wife is here for abdominal pain. The admitting attendant determined that my wife was a candidate for a COVID screen.so she was walked out of the ER into a huge tent that was as cold as a freezer. The attendent at the COVID tent was very angry and rude all she told my wife is that you will be here a long time. My wife asked me to help her so I came into this tent area risking my health to get her some help.
She requested a blanket to keep warm the angry female attendant said I can't leave this area, still no blanket. Even though the blankets were within reach. So I went back into the ER and asked why my wife was in a freezing COVID The worst place was behind the double doors you see in the picture.and the most dangerous environment to catch covid. The staff burnt out really didn't care.
That's when I went to social media to shed some light on this horrible ordeal. Needless to say my wife tested negative. But both her and I were exposed to the virus. Because the ER attendant did not care enough. She was finally let into the ER and treated for abdominal pain. This is how we spent the new year.

The only reason it's getting two stars is because the nurse I had was amazing. The PA that read me my ultrasound results for my pregnancy gave me information that would make one believe the pregnancy was good everything will be fine. Then I get the actual results online and read them for myself only to see conflicting information. I speak to a doctor and he explains that I have a 50/50 chance of a miscarriage. THAT WAS NOT explained to me at all not even close when I was there on 12/7/21.
She told me the small tear should heal itself and I should just take it easy. I don't care how busy the hospital is when a person is growing a human being you need to take more than 2 mins to explain something. Or take more time reading results. This made for a very stressful morning. which of course I not helpful when pregnant!
