Ledesma Optometry

Been coming here for years now with my wife and have always had a great experience.

I have been coming here for years and have always been treated with kindness and respect. Dr. Ledesma and staff ate awesome!

Rude and incompetent front office staff (I think it's the office manager who is the main problem), doesn't use common sense or courtesy. and not just once, which could be explained as a fluke or her just having a bad day, but every time I called or went in -- at least 5 or 6 interactions. Dr. Ledesma himself seems friendly, but oddly wasn't able to figure out or resolve the issue my son was having with his eye. Plus, they sent him home with glasses that don't fit, so now he's stuck with a pair he can't wear.

Definitely would not recommend this office. (P.S. Also notice that two of the 5 star reviews have the same last name, Ledesma, and are probably family members. LOL I wonder how many other reviews here are shilled?)

I've been going to Dr. Ledesma for several years and my only complaint was sitting in the waiting room for a long time before seeing the doctor (not an issue at my last appointment, thankfully). However, at my last appointment a doctor I'd never met came in and did my exam. I'm Dr. Ledesma's patient, not hers, and a heads up would have been nice.

The front office is so rude. They all seem like they hate being here and could really careless about the patients. The 1st appointment they gave me was for 2 weeks out and the front office calls me the day before to say my insurance was not going to cover it, she did not provide a reason why said she would not call the insurance and I need to do that.

I called got it fixed & call back and she said it would need to get verified and would take at least 48 hours, due to this issue I had to split my 3 children up into 2 different appointments. Both appointments we had to wait almost 2 hours, the front office was rude and Sylvia the manager had the nerve to yell at me saying they would never accept designer lens for IEHP.

It has now been over 2 weeks and after visiting an eye specialist for my son I am provided a much different prescription than what Dr. Ledesma provided and that is because he never dilated my sons pupils. They did a very lazy job and did not provide an accurate assessment of my sons vision. I would never recommend this company to anyone, they have been a complete waste of time.

We confronted Dr. Ledesma about the inaccurate reading and questioned his ethic and reasoning of not dilating the pupils. He said well in my heart I did what was best and if you dont like my service you can go elsewhere. We are absolutely disgusted he and his staff had no regard for my 6 year olds vision or their mistakes.

Absolute horrible, the optometrist was whatever, and the staff was just rude, I get called to pick up my glasses and when I go they were closed. I had literally watched someone walk out when I pulled into my parking spot. the sign on the door say they are closed daily from 12-1 and I was at the door at 11:45 and they were closed. Coming from a far commute and a busy schedule it was completely inconvenient.

The staff doesn't really talk to you they just put you in the room, its extremely quiet so its awkward to even talk. I honestly don't recommend for anyone and I'm definitely not going back, I really wish I could've gotten better service considering the amount of money I spent here.

The Veterans Dept. Los Angeles office recommended Ledesma Optmetry for an eye exam 11 months ago. My experience was exceptional in the care, office and handling of me personally. I recently re-visited Dr. Ledesma again just this week and received the same exceptional care as my first visit. Quality of Service is what it's all about. My insurance was taken promptly and reasonable.

The staff has always been polite and helpful. I have a special needs Son who is hard on his glasses, they have always been able to either fix them or replace them. I am very happy with the service.

I do not write reviews but I had to write one about the service I have received while being a patient at Ledesma Optometry. The staff is just simply amazing! I love how kid friendly the office is from the various children books to the hands on games and family shows on the t.v. The staff is always patient and respectful with me and all my children.

They have Saturday appointments which is perfect for my busy work schedule. Dr. Ledesma is always smiling and kind and his love for his profession and patients is evident. I cannot say enough about this place and I have recommend it to all my family and friends and they too are very satisfied customers.
