Had 2 nasal reconstruction from Dr. Hisaka and left with a dysfunctional and nasal collapse. Not to mention, aesthetically it looks terrible.

I had a chin implant removal surgery 1 year ago, but the stitching area is still tight, painful and numb. My lower lip also feels numb and when I speak, there is a hole in my lower lip which is very wired. After the surgery Hisaka told me it is good, needs 6 weeks to recover and the scar would disappear in 1 month. But till now there are still 4 ugly scars inside my mouth.

I have to visit his office 3 times to pull off all the stitches, each time it is bleedy. I was told it needs time to recover, but at 6 month check, Hisaka told me the numbness may be caused by some part of the implant still inside, it would be a complex surgery which needs 2 doctors to do it. He suggested doing it at 8 month. He didn't tell me how to resolve the tightness and numbness.

I was shocked and went to see several other oral/plastic surgeons. None of them suggest I do any revision in 1 year, because both nerves and scars need at least 1 year to stabilize. They thought the tightness, pain and numbness may be caused by scars or muscle stitch too tight.

Horrible experience. Eric didn't perform the surgery correctly and pretended like he did, but when I told him I wasn't happy with the results he ghosted me.

Went in to get the tip of my nose straightened since the cartilage inside was crooked. Dr. Hisaka said he would shave down the dorsal hump on my nose and it would bring the tip up and straighten it. I told him that the cartilage inside of the tip needed to be straightened and he pretended to understand and said he would fix it. He ended up not fixing the tip of my nose and only shaved down the dorsal hump which I never minded.

He also tried to straighten the tip by dragging it to the other side and trying to stitch it there. Now I have a big scar on my nostril that he said would go away within a week (It's been 5 months) AND the tip is still crooked. In addition to that, I can no longer breathe out of my left nostril. Don't go to him, he will say how easy the surgery is but then stop contacting you if you have concerns after.

I saw an ENT a week ago and he said that Dr. Hisaka did a horrible job and also removed so much cartilage that I am going to need cartilage graphs when I get it fixed in the summer.

I got a rhinoplasty with Dr. Hisaka and he didn't do anything that I asked for. The results were so bad that 2 weeks after the operation he told me I was going to need a revision rhinoplasty. I was very confused how he already knew I was going to need a revision since it takes a year to heal. Very unprofessional and manipulative. Read his healthgrade reviews instead of google, they are more accurate since they are less filtered. I'm very upset that I have to pay even more money to get a revision when Dr. Hisaka said that the surgery was going to be a breeze and that he would take good care of me.

I love Dr. Hisaka I've been going to him for years. Dr. Hisaka took 10 years off my face. Also, he will be doing my breast implants in a couple of months. Soooooo excited! He is a lovely person and reallly listens to what you want to accomplish!

I did much research prior to choosing Dr. Hisaka. I was very disappointed with my last plastic surgeon that was known to be a very reputable doctor in Lafayette. This last year, Dr. Hisaka has performed a few surgeries on me both in-office and in a surgical center. I can't express how happy I am with the results. Besides being a excellent plastic surgeon, he is a very kind person that I would highly recommend.

Dr Hisaka is a fabulous plastic surgeon. He fixed my droopy eyelids. One eyelid was hanging so low that it was affecting my vision. After a few weeks it is all healed and now both eyelids look normal. I am a repeat patient. He repaired my broken eye socket and right side of my face several years ago. I would highly recommend Dr Hisaka.

I have gotten several procedures with Dr. Hisaka. I have always felt completely relaxed in the whole process. He is an artist and has a great eye for detail!

I'm still on the mend with some more time for healing and I have never been happier. Dr. Hisaka has giving me back so much of my life. I was a tired mom and wife that couldn't efficiently work out with abnormally large breasts and he knew exactly what to do. I received the best of care from dr. Hisaka. Definitely I referred to my colleague. He is very knowledgeable and care what if the best for the patient.

I saved for years for my mommy makeover. I had encapsulated implants from many years prior and extra skin from 3 pregnancies. My goal was shape, not size. Dr Hisaka assured a larger implant was my best option and to avoid the scars of a lift. I also had a tummy tuck and lipo. I love Dr Hisaka. His bedside manner, his staff.cannot be beat. Love them. Sadly, I do not love my results.

My breast are loose and now much bigger and heavier, not enough lipo and not in the correct areas and my belly button was re-sewn terribly. Looks like a child stitched it. I can not bare my newly tucked stomach due to the horrible stitching scars. All around it has been a complete disappointment. I had one shot ($) and look different but in no way better.

This was a couple years back and because I like him so much it broke my heart to think to post this but as I live with these results, I feel guilty not being honest. I also note that after my first few follow up appointments, I called to see when I needed to come back. Was told I didn't need to unless I had an issue. I guess I didn't think I was "done" until "after" photos were taken. It makes sense to me now why he didn't take them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hisaka. He listened to me, he address my concerns, he really cared about what was going on in my life and presented the best options for me. Dr. Hisaka cares about his patients even after the operation. He would phone me to check how am I healing prior to my 2nd follow up visit. I am now on my 1 month post op, I am healing very well, all thanks to Dr. Hisaka.

I highly recommend Dr. Hisaka. I required some minor surgery and scheduled with him after reading reviews on Yelp and on the Blue Shield website. His office is not 'Beverly Hills' style, it is professional and conservative. That tells me a lot about his focus on patients, not on the decor. Agree with those that say he is thoughtful. He doesn't rush through any procedure and gets to know you on a personal level and thoroughly explains the process and what to expect. I am very pleased with the results!

Before choosing Dr. Hisaka I have visited 5 different doctor. Best decision I made. Dr Hisaka treated me as a person he knew for years verse a patient that he's making money off of. He was and still is there when ever I have question. Best manner. Go to Dr. Thank you for the work and being there.

I always knew if I ever needed or wanted anything done to my body or face, Dr. Hisaka is the only doctor that I would have my procedure done. About 10 years ago, I had the fat (bags) under my eyes removed by Dr. Hisaka. He did such a wonderful job and the skin under my eyes still look. After 10 years, I sought his professional treatment again to perform a liposuction of my back, stomach and thigh areas. Again, I love the results.

At the age of 54, I feel beautiful again. I am very picky and particular when it comes to choosing the doctors. Dr. Hisaka is a very skillful and wonderful plastic surgeon and his price is extremely reasonable. His assistant Staci is also wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Hisaka for any plastic surgery procedures.

Doctor Eric Hisaka is kind, caring, and amazing at his art. I highly recommend him to anyone (Women/Man) who is thinking about any elective surgery. His ability to comfort his patients and help them though the process is a rare skill not seen by many in his field. He does truly care and you always feel safe under his care. Love Dr. Hisaka! He completely listens to your needs and wants and then explains in detail what he can do. I was referred to him over 14 years ago for a necessary surgery. I called his office for a consultation again for other concerns and was seen that same day. I would not even consider another doctor other than him for any plastic surgery needs. I would highly recommend him. He is a class act and never rushes his appointments or procedures.

Beware! Eric Hisaka MD was the medical director of Dermalounge Med Spas (SF and Burlingame) that closed wihtout notice in Oct. Phones and websites were disconnected and a note was posted on the door of the SF location. Customers arrived for appointments and found the business locked and closed. Many customers with pricey pre-purchased packages were left without recourse. According to yelp reviews, Dermalounge was still selling prepaid packages days before the closing. Look at the yelp reviews for Dermalounge in Burlingame and San Francisco.
