Critical: Professionalism Cancelled my appointment at 10:20am that I scheduled for the next day at 9:00am with no reason behind it. I booked well in advance and could have booked elsewhere, so now I get to scramble to find someone who can actually keep the appointments they make. Would not recommend if you want a professional and reliable place to go.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Value Dr. K is absolutely amazing! First doctor I've had in a long time that explained everything to me thoroughly. She's very attentive & professional. She performed surgery on my ankle & made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The front desk staff is super friendly & knowledgable! 10 out of 10, I always recommend!

Dr. Shearer and Kia were super great. Very friendly and pleasant. Everything was efficient but not rushed. Really appreciated Dr. Shearer taking the time to explain a lot of the mechanics of my feet to me. He is a very knowledgeable, effective communicator. Definitely recommend!

I've been a patient of Dr. Klingenstein for a few years now and not once have I had a bad experience with either her or the office staff. Dr. K is a wonderful podiatrist, very personable, thorough, and always has a positive attitude! I would recommend her to anyone! She really is the best!

I have been going to Alliance Foot & Ankle, and Dr. Klingenstein for the past couple of years for some complex foot issues. The office staff is great and Dr. Klingenstein is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Her follow-up is exceptional. I highly recommend Alliance Foot & Ankle, and Dr. Klingenstein.

At first I had some hesitation to have surgery, since I have never had a female surgeon so that also caused some hesitation, without a shadow of a doubt Dr. Klingenstein and her office staff have been a pleasure to meet, and work with they are very polite, Dr. Klingenstein's motherly instinct is very obvious she takes alot of pride in her profession and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her patients, and the way she really makes herself available to her patients after surgery was a comfort to know she was there if I needed her.

Its not common now a days with Dr.'s to receive the kinda attention to how your feeling as Dr. Klingenstein applies in her practice, and carries over to her patients. Its when you have someone who cares about others and loves their job as she does that you receive the care, concern, professionalism, as she has given from day one. I have no problem recommending Dr. Klingenstein for any and all of your foot and ankle issues.

I had extensive surgery on a long ago injured, and then recently broken foot, by Dr. Shearer which required grafting, screws, washers, and a pin. Because I do not live in Anchorage, and had to leave almost immediately afterwards, all of my immediate follow up had to be done remotely. During this time, Dr. Shearer answered an abundance of questions and addressed all the concerns that I had.

I was able to share photos with him every step of the way in my healing process, and he coordinated with our local Clinic to do an awesome job in my recovery. I was never made to feel that my questions were trivial or that I was taking up too much of his time. I would HIGHLY recommend Alliance Foot and Ankle, and above all else, Dr. Shearer.

I could not be more impressed or happier with the care I received at Alliance Foot & Ankle clinic, more specifically Dr. Kristin Klingenstein! She was amazing. I had been suffering for over a year with foot pain & had tried every over the counter product I could find looking for relief. Then in my very first appointment with Dr. Klingenstein she found & treated two different problems I had going & I walked out of her office feeling like I had the foot of a '20 something' person, note I'm 63! I would highly recommend Dr. Klingenstein and Alliance Foot & Ankle clinic.

Dr. Shearer is great! He has provided a complete explanation of care needed for my foot/toe problem which required surgery. His expertise with foot problems is extensive and the surgery was a complete success. The post surgical care has been ongoing to make sure the healing process continues without complications. He is thorough and listens to my concerns and explains things in easy to understand terminology. I am so glad to have Dr Shearer as my Podiatrist and I trust his judgement completely. I highly recommend him to anyone needing care.
