Services
There is so much to learn and adapt to when you find out you are expecting a baby. If you are expecting your first child, you may feel elated and overjoyed but you may also feel scared and nervous. All of these emotions are normal. The physicians, nurses and staff at Dothan OBGYN will guide you through your pregnancy with care and compassion.
At Dothan OBGYN, we can assist you with gynecological healthcare from adolescence through menopause and beyond. From the most routine annual exams to facing serious decisions about your health. One of the most proactive and important steps in taking control of your own healthcare is to regularly schedule your annual pelvic and breast health exam.
Ultrasounds are used to produce images of internal organs to diagnose and monitor certain health conditions and, in pregnancy, produce images of a fetus. Other examples of women's health conditions that we, as OBGYN physicians, monitor are infertility, abnormal bleeding, a pelvic mass, a breast lump or pelvic pain.
When realizing complications while trying to conceive, it is many times met with disappointment and fear. You don't have to feel alone. Working together, we will identify the problem, find a treatment or solution and, ideally, conceive. We are well versed in facilitating fertility treatments and our physicians work hand-in-hand with fertility specialists from the area for more intensive fertility treatments. If you have been trying to conceive and have been unsuccessful, call us to schedule an appointment.

Dr. Middleton is simply THE BEST. He truly cares about his patients, and making your visit as comfortable as possible. He takes his time talking with you, you never feel rushed, and he will put your concerns at ease. The staff at this office are so kind as well. Brenda and Brandie have bent over backwards for me, to help me get in to see dr. and to answer any questions/concerns I had prior to visit. I highly recommend Dothan OBGYN.

There is literally so much good that can be said about Dr. Phillips here at Dothan OBGYN. She is absolutely amazing! So freaking cool, relatable, funny, and oh so personable but dont let that fool you; she will tell it like it is and regarding my health? Thats how i want it. She has literally changed my outlook on visiting the gyno. I dont see myself ever going anywhere else. Much love to everyone at Dothan OBGYN

Dr. Gordon is emotionally abusive and it is disgusting. Do better. Dr. Middleton and Robinson were lovely. If you told me now that Gordon would deliver me and how it would go and the things he would say to me than I would tell you I would rather kill myself than have him as my doctor. Save yourself the trouble and choose any other OB in the practice.

I've seen Dr. Phillips, Dr. Robinson, and Dr. Gordon at this office and I've been so impressed with the amount of care they give. Each appointment I have is short, sweet and worthwhile. Everyone, including the nurses and administrative team, is so knowledgeable and kind. They're all individuals who you can trust in to have your best interest in mind.

My experience with Dr. Gordon at first, up until the birth of my daughter, was great. I did feel a little rushed at times, and he would forget who I was, which became annoying. A week before I delivered I had to remind him that my daughter was breech and we were doing a c section. I didn't get any of my birth wishes, no skin to skin, no delayed cord clapping.
I wasn't able to bond with my daughter at all. Not to mention they almost forgot to bring in my husband! They already started cutting me open before he got in there. My main problem with this doctor and the staff is that I've suffered extreme PPD and they don't seem to take it very serious. At least that's how they have made me feel. I was "treated" with two different medications and was sent on my way.
When I called to tell them it wasn't working and it was making me feel worse, I didn't receive a call for almost a WEEK! My mental health was not okay and I didn't hear back from them for that long. That is not okay. The only thing they had to say was "sorry there's nothing more we can do for you". Seriously?! I already reached out to my PCM and they said my OB treats PPD and that's who they recommend I see. Well, now what?
I had an amazing doctor from enterprise reach out to me when they heard what I was going through, because they genuinely wanted to help me. What if I hurt myself before they called me back? Then what? I get why mothers commit suicide now, they have NO HELP. This practice should work on this area from here on out because they're seriously lacking any care for their patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Middleton for many years & he is a wonderful doctor. Obogyn visits are always so awkward, but he has never made me feel uncomfortable. I'm going through some tough times right now dealing w/Endometriosis & he is not a doctor that will just brush me off. He has & is trying everything possible to help me. Need a great Obogyn, then go see Dr. Middleton!

Dr. Robinson was my doctor and Dr. Middleton delivered my twins. I came in contact with all 4 doctors while in the hospital. They are all great and offered me excellent care. My stay in the hospital was long and I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. That nursing staff is the best I have ever delt with.

Dr. Gordon, at Dothan OBGYN, has been my doctor for ten years. I would feel comfortable seeing any of the doctors at Dothan OBGYN if Dr. Gordon were out of town and I had an emergency of some sort. Dr. Gordon has seen me through three pregnancies, ovarian cysts and two surgical procedures. He cares about his patients like no other doctor I have ever seen. His nurses and staff have always been top notch and the group he is with now is the best OBGYN group in Dothan, HANDS DOWN.
