Lazy Eye means that the eye sees poorly, even with eyeglasses. Usually when parents see an eye that doesn't seem to line up correctly they think that is a "lazy eye." In fact, that is a condition called an eye turn, or Strabismus. It is important for parents to understand that while amblyopia and strabismus often occur together, you won't always see an eye wander off when your child has amblyopia. Difficulty seeing 3D movies. Being able to see 3D is not just a fun thing to do in the movies, it is important for everyday life.
Vision screenings in school and at the pediatrician's office usually only test distance vision. Most people think that 20/20 is "perfect vision", when in fact 20/20 is simply a measurement of what someone is able to see at a distance of 20 feet. Most of our learning is through reading, which is not at 20 feet at all!

The staff is incredibly friendly. The quality of the optics in the glasses and the time Dr Dibbler takes to make sure the prescription is right is really wonderful. I'm a complicated case and she was so patient. I was going to a chain that's popular for my glasses just because of the convenience but frankly now I regret it because after some research I found out that there really are better options in terms of the quality of the "glass" put in the glasses. The last few weeks I've been walking around and driving around amazed at how little glare I have and how well I can see.

Dr Dibler is truly amazing at what she does. The staff is really friendly. The first minute I arrived into her office, the service was wonderful and my appointment always started on time. Dr Dibler is the kind of provider who truly cares about their patient's health and she adamant about finding the route to the problem. Because of her, I feel more confident and trust my vision more.
