I went down there with my boyfriend cause he was having pain and they are so rude the nurses was very rude to myself and my boyfriend will never come here again ever! They are suppose to be nurses and deal with the public if they can not be nicer maybe try to get better employers jus saying!

I had my colonoscopy at MCCH today. I have nothing but rave reviews. Dr Lambros and all of the nurses and staff that took care of me were top notch. I am from Henry County and will not hesitate to come there with all my health needs!

Thank God for nurses because the ER doctors there, specially Austin and Jones, care very little about their patients, even when it's a 3-year-old with a very simple issue. Abysmal treatment/experience.

I've lived in 12 cities and used their local hospitals. MCCH is, without a doubt the poorest of any. Late May 2022 - No rapid COVID tests available. They say "they don't make them anymore". A complete lie. Fast Pace has them on demand. Emergency Room visits are more like camping. 5-6 hours and 3 room transfers before you can even see a nurse. When you read the paper, all this Hospital talks about is their revenue and income. Try working on your service and all the rest of that will follow.

Had some cancer diagnosed at another hospital. Ended up at MCCH for treatment. Dr. Koelsch, Dr. Ghanhem, and Dr. Giese were the main doctors treating me and they all did an excellent job. All of the nurses and support staff helping those three doctors were professional and kind. I have taken family members to a variety of locations for medical treatments and none of the larger hospitals have been as timely and efficient in getting through treatments. Billing has been very upfront and clear, which can not be said for the original hospital I went to.

I had a surgery which required almost a week in the hospital and my room was kept clean by the custodial staff. The nurses were very kind and helpful. I am very thankful for the treatment received at MCCH.

I went to the ER with high fever and severe pain on my left shoulder and a tight chest. When I went in they never treated the infection and left me in a lot of pain. They decided to drain the fluid Over My Heart by draining it with their cardiologist dr. Mejia. Dr. Mejia did the procedure, which was very painful even with the pain medicine during the drainage procedure he kept asking me why I was in so much pain and maybe I had fibromyalgia. he was not taking my pain seriously.

The next day, the pain medicine had worn off, and I was in a world of pain. Dr. Mejia was annoyed by this and kept saying that the procedure he had done had not caused this pain even though I kept telling him that I had already been in pain before I came in. He decided to pull out my drain tube from my chest which was like torture and I was in tears, hyperventilating and all he could say was this shouldn't hurt and maybe it was fibromyalgia, he was very rude.

No one ever treated my shoulder, no one ever gave me medicine for an infection. They sent me home with some pain med and told me to follow up with my physician. the ER staff I would say they are rude and horrible at getting IVs put in.

I've almost died here and was lucky to make it out after a week long stay. Housing didn't come clean my room till after 3 days of staying by myself in the admitted room. I am here now with a patient that has Multiple Sclerosis and possible concussion with a rising heart rate and temperature and have been in the ER for over an hour.

It's so bad I wanna give it them a 0. but that's not possible so I give them a 1. I went to get a covid test and was told that they'll be back soon to give me my results. I waited an hour before going out to ask them how much longer and I was told that they completely forgot I was still there and was forced to wait even longer.

It's just me and my teenage son. My family lives hundreds of miles away so I booked a ride with Murray transit in advance to take me to my outpatient surgery. The afternoon before surgery they called and said the time changed from 9:30 to 11:15. Murray transit was already booked up so I couldn't change my arrival time. Only until I got to the hospital I was told I wasn't allowed to leave in a cab or transit company that I had to leave with someone I know and my teenage son wasn't good enough.

I asked to sign a waiver releasing them from responsibility once I leave the hospital and there isn't one. They really need to have something in place for people who don't have any friends or family close as I'm not from Kentucky. Luckily I ended up offering to pay someone I barely know and they are able to pick me up even though the hospital can't tell them an estimated time to pick me up.

Not an ideal situation to be in. So. Ive been here since 8:45, it's now 6:45 and I'm still waiting to go back into surgery. Received an extra star because my nurse has been nice, understanding, and trying to help with my situation as she could.

Out of state and my son had an accident, he received 6 stitches on his face by Miller, PA-C. Great work, in and out in a timely manner! The triage nurse (Baker) was great as well. The room could have been a little cleaner hence the 4 stars but overall great experience!

This place is an absolute nightmare. Just brought in my infant daughter, who spiked a fever after her shots. You would think the protocol would be to offer the baby fever reducer as soon as possible, but no. We waited there for hours. Without EVER being seen except by a nurse who literally told us, "I don't know.it's been a while since I've seen a baby." It could've been the PA's easiest case of the night. Fever reducer, advice, send us first-time parents home with more confidence and knowledge as to why their kid was running such a bad fever.

But no, instead we waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half, and in an exam room for God knows how long before the fever finally went away on its own, at which point we elected to leave. Don't come here in an actual emergency-- just make a longer trip to a different facility.

I've always received good care. I've been treated as a patient, visited as family and trained as a nurse at mcch.

( I am re-posting this review, Murray Calloway County Hospital has not taken actions to better serve the unhealthy folks in need of medical services in the area. In the Emergency Room they are usually short staffed, short tempered and apparently uneducated. From most of the patience's that I have spoken with, they have left feeling unwell, unattended to and like a second class citizen with their dignity striped away. Shame on you MCCH! This facility has just been renovated and Millions of dollars were spent on the building, however, Murray Calloway County Hospital seems to have overlooked the importance of education for the staff and that their overall goal should be patient care and wellness.

I would like to think that most of the Doctors, Nurses and support staff here have their heart in the right place and want to make a difference for those who need medical treatment, however, when you or your loved ones are sick and in need of professional health care, One Bad Apple Can Make the Whole Bunch Seem Rotten. I have to wonder when they were Accredited and Certified and when the Joint Commission will pay them another field review? Murray Calloway County Hospital, Clean Up Your Act or see your funding gone, these are your neighbors, friends and family getting this non treatment.
