Dr Aferzon could not correctly diagnose a sinus infection I had, and also could not possibly be bothered with any questions or concerns I had. He literally came in the room check and me only wanted answers to his own questions and nothing more. He found nothing wrong with me. and as soon as I started to talk about my condition and symptoms walked to the door and out.

Saw Dr. Aferzon due to hearing my pulse in my left ear daily for the last year. Sat in the chair. He looked in the ear and saw no fluid behind the ear drum and I was told there was nothing he could do and good luck. Went for a second opinion with a Dr. That actually performed tests to be able to give me a diagnosis. Don't waste your time to see Dr. Aferzon, there are other specialists with better bed side manner who actually care about their patients and who actually perform tests to determine the cause.

When you come across an excellent physician and a specialist, and that person truly cares about the well-being of their patients, you know you've found not just a good doctor but a great one. I find myself fortunate to have had Dr. Mark Aferzon attend to issues I had with my long-term sinus problems. Not only did Dr. Aferzon properly diagnose the root causes (yes there was more than one issue), he did this with the efficiency and skill of a highly experienced practitioner. Dr. Aferzon patiently and clearly explained the procedures involved, wrote down a list of short videos to watch, articles to read and asked me to consider the steps involved before surgery.

And when I was ready to commit to surgery, Dr. Aferzon gave me the odds of success and detailed all the steps I would have to follow during and post-surgery. For some reason, I had no hesitation and reservation before and during my two- and half-hour surgery. which he performed with absolute precision and perfection. On the many occasions that I had to see Dr. Aferzon, I can only say that he was always on time, meticulous, courteous and caring.

My follow up procedures were as good, and I am now well on my way to a full recovery. I can't thank Dr. Aferzon and his equally incredible staff, for guiding me through this process and the corrective surgery. To breath well again is a gift I can only wish to anyone who suffers from chronic sinus congestion. I highly recommend Dr. Aferson and his great team. Thank you very much indeed.

Well I like Dr. Aferzon. For well over 20 yrs I have been saddled with sinus pressure headaches and not being able to blow my nose and now poof, they are gone. What a feeling. He fixed my deviated septum that was broken 43 yrs ago (this was a tough one) along with sinus balloon procedure and cleaning of all areas affected. I was back at work in two days and I am a chef.

Everyone was great and yes he is a doll once you get use to him. I get it, I have the same energy level. You accept people for who they are. The allergist is a hoot and the rest of the staff. I have fun with them at the office. Have just referred a couple of people over to this office. I have been walking around saying to myself, "I almost feel human" because I can breath with ease. I recently had a sinus balloon procedure done at Dr. Aferzon's office. This is sinus surgery under local anesthesia performed right in the office. I had been getting sinus infections for years and was always on one antibiotic or another. I was referred by my family doctor to Dr. Aferzon and I cannot tell you how happy and grateful I am. The procedure took about one and a half hours and there was barely any pain. Afterwards I went home to rest and did not even need to take any pain medicine.

It's been almost 2 months now and I feel great. I have had no infections or even nasal discharge ever since the balloon procedure. I have bragged to all of my friends already and decided to share my story online. Dr. Aferzon is great and I very highly recommend him!

Dr. Aferzon and his staff are simply the best. Always courteous and helpful. My schedule is hectic and they always work with me. I had sinuplasty (spelling?) done earlier this year and can breathe again! I am taking allergy shots and that will take time, but I look forward to my weekly visits to the office - they always have a smile for me. My husband had been plagued with endless sinus infections for the past 10 years. After countless doses of antibiotics we were finally referred to see Dr. Aferzon. He scheduled a CT Scan and after going over the results with us, we settled on a procedure called Sinus Balloon. Though it might sound strange, this was just about the best thing that could have happened to us.

My husband basically had sinus surgery right in Dr. Aferzon's office, under local anesthesia. The entire thing lasted about 2 hours and he was able to go home to rest. He felt some soreness for a few days after, but about a week later, he was honestly a new man! It has now been 3 months since he' d had the surgery, and no sinus infection! Imagine, all winter and not one infection. I never thought this day would come. We are so grateful to Dr. Aferzon. The surgery was fairly easy, no hospital! Pretty quick recovery and no more infections!

My husband had a big growth on his face and he visited doctor Aferzon. The doctor is very skillful and he removed his growth very professionally and sent it to the lab for biopsy. In two days we received a phone call that everything was ok. We are very happy with Dr. M.Aferzon and highly recommend him to all our friends.
