The Dr. took great care and after my surgery made sure I was in 100% good shape after a complication, even giving me a complimentary exams long after my surgery to make sure I got the full results. They really go out of their way to make sure you get your money's worth. I even recommended another friend.

I am so happy I got my intra Lasik done at Diamond Vision! I am lucky to be part of the team and now I have experienced the wonderful service and care that Diamond Vision provides. Doctor Stetson is extremely experienced and he really cares for all his patients. Doctor Stein and Doctor Zimmerling, thank you for getting me ready for surgery and to Sofia, Irina and Ken for the great care and work. Amazing team I love that I can drive and read without glasses - and just less than 48 hours after my procedure!

I had an amazing experience and Dr. Stetson was so easy to work with. I was unsure what was best for me and the team was easy to talk to. They didn't push me like some sales clinics feel. They were honest and I didn't feel pressured at all. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was very worried to get eye surgery because it is my eyes of course but the whole staff was very personable and they made the process seamless and comfortable. The doctors were hilarious and also very smart so it made me feel like I was in very good hands. I recovered super quickly, less than a day and I can say earnestly that I feel amazing! Highly recommend, they care deeply about their patients.

My wife and I both had eye surgery here and could not have had a better experience. Dr Stetson and his staff from front of house to OR are friendly, professional, and fun. Their process is well defined and consistent. I haven't read the negative reviews here and I can't even imagine something negative to say after having had so much interaction with this office over the last 5 weeks.

I found my way to Dr. Stetson via family and friends about 2 hours away who have trusted his work for a couple generations at this point. Great great doctor who knows how to run a professional practice. Enjoy your experience; we did.

Best money spent. Dr. Stetson and his team were an absolute pleasure. from the consult, to pre-op, surgery and post-op, everything was a breeze. following the painless 10 min procedure, i took a power nap and woke up the same night ready to go. absolutely no issues. highly recommend.

I had lasik surgery almost two years ago. I never had dry eyes before. I developed dry eyes after lasik. Diamond vision suggest Xiidra but my I insurance wouldn't cover it back then and now I started restasis because I now is have a severe case of dry eyes which is still going on after 6 weeks later. I am currently on eye steroids and restasis. IAfter talking to others I should now get check to see if I have a cornel neuralgia from diamond vision lasik surgery.

Now I have to see about going to a dry eye specialist and cornel specialist. The cornel specialist has the special equipment to run test to make sure I don't have cornel neuralgia from lasik. If I do have that and diamond vision told me it was just dry eye and me not producing enough tears. Diamond vision did no testing to determine all of this.

They send me along my way. I am very dissatisfied with diamond vision. Most of these specialist are out of pocket and having such of these things can be costly in treatment not including restasis is like $600 for a month supply and those steroids are $400. Any special testing is going to cost me a lot. Most insurances don't pay for any of this. I wish I never had lasik. My eyes was better before lasik.

I got LASIK done at Diamond Vision in Manhattan two days ago. Really great, smooth procedure and professionally done. The doctor is fantastic at making you feel at ease. The first eye went smoothly, no pain and feels 100% perfect. For the second eye, the doctor clamped down a bit harder to the point where I did feel a bit of pain (this was just holding it in place to make the incision I believe, not the incision itself).

The next day I noticed a broken blood vessel in my eye which was pretty scary for 20 minutes. I googled it and discovered it was temporary (goes away within 2-3 weeks) and normal. That eye was definitely a little sore compared to the other eye. Seeing as it is a temporary side effect I can't complain. Regardless, I recommend this place for their professionalism and my eyesight is perfect. I really recommend!

I've been nearsighted all my life. I am exhausted of living with blurry vision. A friend recommended me to Diamond Vision. I made an appointment easily online, and consultation was fast and easy. Irina made me feel so comfortable and did not force my decision to go through with surgery. She just gave me all the information and answered every question I had.

The safest option based on my results was to get the PRK surgery. I decided to go through with it though I knew it would come with a longer recovery time. What's a few more weeks compare to a lifetime of clear vision plus the prices are so reasonable. The day of surgery I was so nervous. Dr. Stetson made me feel so at ease. Everything I needed to do was explained throughly and clearly.

The surgery itself was literally a few minutes and completely painless. Day1: I kept my eyes closed all day to avoid any discomfort and I was fine overall. Day2: my eyes felt sore and I saw blurry. Again, I kept my eyes closed and slept as much as possible Day 3: was the most uncomfortable day. Everything bothered me but the medicine provided helped a lot Day 4-5: no more pain- just light sensitivity.

I was not able to see on the phone or computer for about a week and a half. So be prepared for that. 2 weeks later: my eyes don't hurt and I feel like I see regular. (However, I did start noticing small things I could see from far like words on the tv or a bulletin board high up on a building) This is week 3: I see perfectly clear! I don't squinch my eyes or struggle to see.

I feel amazing. I'm so excited to see my official end results by month 3. But so far it's already the best decision I've ever made in life. Dr. Stetson and his crew are amazing. 5 stars are not enough! Don't wait, it's the best investment. I wish I would have done it way sooner but I am grateful nonetheless.

I went to Diamond vision last week to get PRK. I choose PRK because I suffer from Sjogrens - I mean I don't struggle because I have no symptoms from sjogrens- atleast not yet. However, I was trying to be proactive about dryness in my eyes. I was very nervous about the procedure but Dr. Stetson was so quick and even made jokes during the surgery.

Literally took 5 mins! When I went for my consult- I met directly with Dr. Stetson which I liked because it just feels good to speak to the surgeon before the surgery. He is also easy on the eyes so that definitely helped lol. I did my pre-op with a different ophthalmologist- it felt a little rushed but nothing serious enough to complain about. Each appointment was quick- in and out within 30 mins.

On the day of the surgery I was shocked I was in and out so fast and no pain! So just about PRK recovery- if you want to be conservative in your eye correction surgery go with it! It was painless the first day of surgery. Second day my eyes felt sore but nothing unbearable. Day three I woke with bad pain in eyes, but after drops I was good to go and able to see much better than I did before the surgery.

By day four there was no pain or irritation! I was literally nervous about pain for NOTHING! Things are still a bit blurry but compared to my vision before surgery- this is a walk in the park! I will do a 3 month update but if you are considering Diamond Vision - Do it! And the price point was unbeatable in my opinion.

I had an intralasik surgery here in December of 2019 and it was life-changing! The whole process was really smooth and seamless. Irina was very knowledgeable about the different kinds of procedures and did a very thorough consultation with me. Dr. Stetson is clearly a professional, and tried to make me comfortable during my surgery, which took only about 10 minutes. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone considering vision-correction surgery!

Total professionals before, during and after surgery. I was actually most impressed with the follow up visits, as they gain nothing from them and it's totally for my benefit. Surgery was smooth with no issues. Elected for a touch up to slightly improve my vision. The touch up was PRK which is supposed to be slower to heal and perhaps even painful as they prescribed pain killers and gave me numbing drops. I didn't need anything. I wasn't even uncomfortable, which I hear is unique, but lucky me. Was the best money I ever spent.

3 Month PRK Post-Op Update: I just had my 3 month follow-up today with Dr. Kantor. Although my left eye was lagging behind in healing as of my last appointment, it has improved greatly to -0.5 and my right eye has healed to a perfect 0. I really appreciated that the doctor took the time to do these measurements as it helped to assure me that my healing is on track, and that both eyes were still improving.

My left eye can now see a fuzzy 20/20 and my right sees 20/20. PRK has a much longer recovery time compared to LASIK, so it really is a test of your patience. After I told the doctor that I can see much better in my left eye after putting in some artificial tears, she evaluated me for dry eye and prescribed me some eye drops that will help to treat it.

As I continue to heal, it is expected that any dry eye conditions will get better as well. Overall, I am still very satisfied with my experience. I'm hoping that my left eye will continue to heal from now until my 6 month follow-up. In the meantime, Dr. Kantor has definitely been super helpful and I am so glad she took the time to actually address some of these blips in the healing process to make it better for me.

She also answered all the questions that I had with great detail so I could tell she is extremely knowledgeable in this field, and that she cares a lot about her patients. I still stand by my recommendation for Diamond Vision and am a very happy client!

I recently got Intralase surgery and my experience was stellar! The staff was super friendly and everything moved so quickly and seamlessly. This was during the COVID-19 pandemic and the office staff did an amazing job of making sure there was social distancing in place. Everybody that entered immediately got their temperatures taken, which was very reassuring to see!

Despite that, I was in and out in no time so I didn't spend much time in the waiting area anyway. The surgery was super quick and the office staff and Dr. Stetson communicated everything so well. I truly enjoyed my and experience and I'd recommend Diamond Vision 10 times out of 10!

I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have my vision back and being operated by the most wonderful team! Performing microscopic surgery they made me feel like the most complicated question there was to decide which distracting toy to choose while operating so gently and with all care of the world, whistling some vivid motive. I'm only 3 days after lasik and can't believe how many details in this world I remembered were there, but missed not seeing much.

Thank you so very much! I don't think I ever had better medical experience at all and I'm talking about situation when someone puts tools right in my pupils, what an awesome place and passionate about their job, caring people!

I had been planning to do lasik for quite some time and when I saw the reviews I decided to go with Diamond Vision. They were very helpful throughout the process from beginning to post surgery. Highly recommend lasik and do to it with diamond vision. I was seeing 20/20 within 24 hours.

I achieved 20/20 vision during the day in early 2018 but discovered that I had a lazy right eye. After doing eye exercises for quite a while it was then that my vision refined. Can't stress how important it is to listen to all of the advice that the doctor gives you. I still take eye drops for dry eye but doing so has likely helped me to achieve near perfect vision. However, at night I still suffer with awful night glare and halos, which apparently cannot be corrected. I was given drops for it but they did not work for me. All the same, I would highly recommend Diamond Vision for their caring and professional attitudes and vision results.

I made an appointment for a consultation and it was a rainy day and there was a lot of traffic. I called to tell them I'd be 15 mins late (as I was already halfway there in an Uber). The person I spoke to informed me that any appointment with lateness that exceeds 15 mins leads to rescheduling. I told her I'm already halfway there, I'm coming from queens, and had been traveling for about 30 mins already and she repeated that lateness policy 3 more times.

I understand that an appointment is an appointment, but the least she could have done was try to be a little more courteous or understanding. I did not catch her name. I'm sure they do a great job here, but because whoever I spoke to was so insensitive, I cancelled the appointment because this is definitely not the type of business I'd like to give my money to.

I got Prk surgery 8 months ago. My eyes are still in pain and I am a slave to eyesdrops. Pain wakes me up if I don't use eye drop 6 times a day. I was much more comfortable when I wore contacts. I will say my vision is perfect- but given the amount of discomfort I still have- I would have preferred to save the money

I got my Lasik procedure about 3 months ago and Dr. Stetson is a great eye surgeon and he isn't bad to look at either. Okay I digress! The admin team are so helpful and so kind, however the Doctors (other than Stetson) aren't so friendly. I've still given them 5 stars still because that's their prerogative. I went to do the surgery on a Saturday and received the interlace procedure, it's a little more expensive but so perfect.

My vision is the best and my night vision is better than before with contacts and I have no blurriness or starburst. Dr. Stetson explained to me what the difference of the procedure I had vs. the base procedure and I never looked back. I say if you are ever thinking about this, go for it and diamond vision is where it's at.

Everything from the consultation to post-op and follow-up visits have been wonderful! I ask a ton of questions and never felt like they were annoyed or rushed. Actual surgery was quick and painless, as was the recovery period. The only annoying thing was that I had to use 3 or 4 different drops every so often (antibiotic, steroid, etc) so I had to bring a bag with me containing all of that everywhere I went but only for a week.

It has been a little over 4 months and I'm not quite seeing 20/20 yet, but the doc says it's mostly due to having dry eyes because it doesn't heal as well without the natural lubrication eyes need, so I need to be really diligent about putting in drops and using a compress before my next follow-up. My friend was seeing 20/15 in 3 months so it's dependent on various factors. In general, I highly recommend getting LASIK or PRK at Diamond Vision. Really wish I had done this sooner.

There are two parts of my review: (1) The actual surgery was great. I did custom for both of my eyes and now after 3 months, I can see everything clearly. During the procedure, Dr. Stetson and the assistant were telling me everything they were doing before they did it, so I wouldn't be kept in the dark or get caught by surprise. They also have a teddy bear and a stress ball for you to hold onto in case you need it. (2) Scheduling is terrible.

First of all, they moved my actual operation time from 11am to 9:30am without telling me, because the Dr. Stetson had to leave early for his vacation. NO BODY told me that. Even when they called to confirm my time, it was still at 11am. But when I went in for the pre-op, being as anal as me, I asked the front desk to confirm my time again, and they told me oh by the way it's being rescheduled.

I mean shouldn't you tell me my appointment has been moved? What if I didn't confirm with front desk, wouldn't that just mean I'd miss the procedure? Also if you live or work nowhere near midtown, good luck scheduling post-op appointments. Apparently they only offer post-op appointments during the week, nothing over the weekend.

Which again, was never disclosed to me. Shouldn't you tell me about this stupid post-op appointment constraints UPFRONT? Anyways, I have mixed feelings for this place. Dr Stetson was great and the procedure went really well, but to me a surgery is about the whole process, from beginning to finish (assuming three month check up is the finish line). Personally I think they treat you like second class citizen after the surgery and that's not sitting well with me. Try at your risk.
