I'm only giving this place 3 stars because Dr. Robert was so good with my 1 year-old. However, we waited for 55 minutes before he even saw us, which is a LONG time to keep a 1 year-old waiting when he is already scared of doctors. The receptionist and nurse were not very friendly, and the whole place is just not very kid-friendly as a whole.

I have been a patient of Allergy and Asthma specialists at the Lansdale office for a few years receiving allergy shots. I have always found the office to be friendly and professional. Since COVID I appreciate the office even more. The staff is so friendly and so careful. I feel so safe and comfortable when I have my monthly appointments. I highly recommend this team.

We have been going to the Lansdale office for a few years now. We love the doctor, but have had a number of negative interactions with the receptionist. The most recent happened today when we visited and went through the standard covid questionnaire. When they got to, "Have you traveled out of state on the past 14 days", my son answered truthfully that he had gone hunting in NJ 12 days ago.
Thanks to that, we were turned away. We were told that this was per CDC guidelines, which isn't true. I went to the CDC website and none of their questionnaire guidelines mentions traveling out of state. We were told that if we had filled out the questionnaire from their text, we would have known that we couldn't come in. Again, that's not true. As soon as I got home, I filled it out, just to see what it would say.
After answering everything truthfully, it said, "We look forward to seeing you at your appointment.". Obviously the lack of cough, fever, and other covid symptoms outweighed the travel on the online questionnaire, but not to the human being who should be able to use her basic reasoning skills. *Edit to add: I just checked the PA guidelines for traveling. Health.pa.gov says, "If someone cannot get a test or chooses not to, they must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival in Pennsylvania.
This does NOT apply to: Individuals who are returning to the Commonwealth after traveling outside the Commonwealth for less than 24 hours.". My son was in NJ for about 6 hours, and at least half of that time he was sitting in a tree stand in the woods. Gail never even asked. *Edited to add on 12/1: I just received an angry phone call from the practice administrator telling me that my son is not welcomed back thanks to my review.
I informed her that I was perfectly willing to alter my review if I had a good reason to do so. My plan was to switch offices and see how our experience was there. Instead I was told that there are ramifications that I need to accept for leaving a public review. So 1 star is actually pretty generous.

I really like the doctor at this place, but today I had a bad experience with the receptionist who apparently is also responsible for billing. As soon as we entered she said that they wouldn't be able to see us because we were 12 minutes late for a three hour test. We turned to walk out, without objecting, and as I was holding open the door to leave, she loudly asked me about a paying a balance, instead of asking if we would like to reschedule.
The insurance company had messed up info, which I had already resolved, but I was very put off by her approach and how she addressed the issue. It was offensive enough that I wouldn't return, but since I like the doctor here so much, I've put in a call to the office manager to see if she's able to address the issue. If she is, I will edit this review appropriately.
