For many patients, IV treatments are a major part of their recovery from illness. IV treatments come in a variety of forms due to their ability to be part of a treatment program for a variety of illnesses and symptoms. These treatments can range from nutritional support including IV's such as the following: vitamin C, other vitamins, minerals, NAD+, glutathione, Myers Cocktails, detoxification (eg chelation, specialized antioxidants, and other IV care), & IV's for gastrointestinal (GI) support, autoimmune disorders, Chronic Fatigue (aka Myalgic Encephalitis), nutritional support during recovery from addiction/substance abuse/chemical dependence disorders*, veisalgia ("hangovers")**, and for many other problems, and they are available through Dr. DeMio for persons of all ages at Whole Health & Wellness.
Dr. Phillip DeMio has since 1980's been prescribing hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for a variety of medical illnesses for people of all ages. This treatment utilizes oxygen, and involves placing the patient in a chamber which is carefully pressurized to increase the enrichment of the body with oxygen.
Increasingly evidence shows that autism is a metabolic, GI, immune, and nutritional disorder which is often the result of toxins such as mercury, vaccines, and those that may be in the environment. This leads to profound adverse effects on the brain, development, and behavior. That is, the Autism Spectrum Disorders are medical, not mental, and they respond to medical treatment.
Dr. DeMio's practice focuses on the medical testing and treatment for you and/or loved one with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. DeMio is the father of a child with autism, and has been an M.D. for over twenty years. He graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with honors in metabolism, women and children's health, and neurosciences.

We have been with Dr Demio for about 9 years. There is no other doctor on this planet we trust as much as Dr Demio! He listens and spend so much time discussing and explaining everything. He is thorough with testing as well as getting to the root cause of symptoms and not band-aiding them. He is open to using natural supplements as well as pharmaceuticals if needed. He supports and often recommends having them compounded! He is so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable! We would never have another doctor.

Dr. DeMio is a very caring and open minded physician. I have suffered with Lyme and other health problems for years. He always listens to every complaint I have and recommends appropriate medications but is also willing to change any if they pose a problem. He also encourages other tests or other specialist consults when appropriate. He has helped me find solutions to other issues of mine also. He is knowledgeable in nutrition and herbal remedies too.
