Services
Our patented Veno-Merse Technique addresses the source of varicose veins and spider veins, in a great number of patients. Veno-Merse technique and laser ablation (EVLT) are combined to achieve sealing all the leaks. All treatments are performed in our AAASF (American Association of Ambulatory Surgical Facility) approved office.
Laser ablation is a technique to treat varicose veins, and it has been around for a long time. In the last few years, the technique has improved substantially, and it has some practical uses for treatment. At Rye Vein-Laser Center, we use ablation frequently in our practice. However, unlike many other facilities, we use it in combination with other, more effective treatments to comprehensively treat varicose veins.
We have veins running throughout our entire body. This allows blood to flow to all our organs, keeping us alive and healthy. However, veins are prone to damage over time. When these veins grow too large or get twisted, they become varicose veins. Many superficial veins can turn into varicose veins, but they are most common in the lower part of your body.
These tiny purplish capillaries get their name from the webbed look they create on the surface of the skin. Spider veins are not harmful, but many people find them undesirable. We have many patients who opt out of dresses and bathing suits in order to hide their spider veins. Many other practices rely on sclerotherapy or lasers to address the issue.
