In 1996, a few dedicated veteran physicians brought their vision to life and formed Tallahassee Primary Care Associates (TPCA). TPCA seeks to provide you with the best healthcare experience possible through our primary and specialty care services. Our team is dedicated to excellence, teamwork, and keeping the patient at the center of their healthcare.
When choosing a healthcare provider, there are many important factors to consider that go beyond professional credentials. As potential patients, we consider things such as the location in relation to our home or office and whether or not the office hours work within our availability. We may also prefer a provider of a specific certification, gender, or area of interest.
TPCA is equipped with highly skilled staff members that are trained to manage patients on Coumadin. Coumadin (Warfarin) is a prescribed blood thinner designed to prevent development (or redevelopment) of blood clots in patients with particular medical conditions or trauma. When patients take Coumadin, monthly monitoring is required to ensure that the appropriate therapeutic doses are taken. At the TPCA Coumadin Clinic, clinical staff members work with patients to manage their entire anticoagulation regimen.
Patients can cancel and reschedule appointments through the email confirmation received upon booking. As soon as you click "cancel" it gives you the option to reschedule by taking you back to the booking page on the TPCA website. Patients can also contact the Lab for cancellations via email at Clinical-Lab@tallahasseeprimarycare.com or phone at (850) 942-6624, following the prompt click option #3.

Terrible, they have a policy where you cannot transfer doctors within TPCA. I called the administration and they said to send an email, but it overall it is what the group of Doctors agreed to (though I guess not all have to implement). It is a terrible rule. As it is, it would have been nice that they told me this a month ago when I turned in paperwork for a new Dr. They did not even have the respect to call me, I followed up with them because I had not heard anything. They just don't care.

I want to thank the young ladies on the 2nd floor where you get Covid and labwork donr with care. From the receptionist (far right window), TCC Nursing student, 2 nurses(please I forgot their names but can remember their faces) the back where they draw blood. These exceptional and caring people. went above and beyond for my 75 year old mother. They showed professionalization, care, compassion, kindness, calmness, thoroughness and many more awesome adjectives. My family is very thankful and appreciative of your can do attitudes! Many blessings to you all!

I changed to Tallahassee primary care from chp; I meet with PA Simmons and her staff. They showed compassion about my health issues and took the time to explain things in a way I could understand them. My previous doctor made me Feel like was just a number and getting me in and out as fast as possible. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a primary care doctor who will take time with you; and actual care about your heath issues.

I had an awfully scary visit yesterday with my pcp and was needing stat orders for a ultra sound and mammogram. I have never ran into a physical problem that brought on the fears I have had for the past 24 hours. I called TPCA diagnostic imaging to go ahead and get my stat orders scheduled, and for some reason no orders were in site. I waited about 6 hours after notifying my pcp and still no orders on 2nd call.
I was transferred to a supervisor who took her time to inform me she would be calling my pcp personally and getting those orders over ASAP. She promised a call back with a scheduled screening by the end of today. She did not have to go the extra mile but she did, and that's what customer service is about, Thank you from one medical facility to another

Dr. Groll is excellent with every visit and very knowledgeable. The office staff is great however, the older woman who works at the receptionist's desk taking phone calls was extremely rude when I called in to cancel my next appointment. If you're reading this lady, it doesn't pay to be rude. Your supervisors don't pay you to be a grinch when being a "customer service" representative. Here's a tip: smile when you speak that way your rudeness has a hard time seeping through. & try not to hang up in people's face abruptly at the end of calls.
