We provide pediatric and adolescent care to our patients in the West San Fernando Valley, Conejo Valley and adjacent areas. We provide the best in both well-child preventive care and management of pediatric illnesses, for children from birth through 21 years. All of our physicians have trained at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, the "best pediatric hospital in the west".We accept the vast majority of PPO, POS and indemnity plans. At Agoura-West Valley Pediatric Medical Group, our team consists of experienced, compassionate pediatricians and friendly, nurturing staff members who take pride in giving our young patients the personalized pediatric care that they deserve. We are proud to be an affiliate of the Children's Hospital Health Network where we partnered with CHLA to produce quality health outcomes and to provide preventative care to healthy kids. Dr. Tolcher was born in Cleveland, Ohio and came to California at the age of 13. He graduated *summa cum laude* with College Honors from UCLA in 1988, and then graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine in 1992. UCSF inducted him into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Our telephones are staffed from 8:30AM until 5:00 PM continuously on Monday through Friday, and from 8:30AM until 12:00PM on Saturdays. Patients are seen by appointment only. After hour sick appointments on Saturdays will be charged an extra fee of $30.00. We accept most PPO insurance plans including; Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Health Net, Pacificare, Coventry Health, First Health, Motion Picture, SAG, Director's Guild, Writer's Guild and United Health Care.We are NOT contracted with HMO's, Medi-cal, and Multiplan.
