Came in for my *first* BOTOX appointment with my partner. The staff here made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process: I am a *wimp* when it comes to needles, and when I told the staff at the beginning of the visit they gave me a fan to hold just in case - which was really sweet of them. Miriam double checked where I wanted botox and, being a newbie, I let her decide for me.
As she injected the botox, it was virtually pain free - just a bit of a sting around the eye area. But again, I'm a wimp when it comes to needles, so the tiny sound and new sensation of botox going into my skin around the eyes was enough to make me nearly faint. I was *so* embarrassed. However, Miriam and the assistant were really kind and polite about it all.
We took a break, put my feet up, and they gave me a piece of candy. The ice pack was too cold for me so Miriam promptly switched it for a cold towel on my face. Heads up, if you don't want to end up head down, apparently it's important you come in hydrated and fed (it was a hot day and I was planning to eat right after - oops). Despite me almost fainting, the whole experience was a positive one. It's only been one day and already I can see a huge improvement in my partners forehead wrinkles. We came in to try botox and see how we like it and I have a strong feeling we're going to come back for upkeep. Highly recommend you try this place!

I had been thinking about getting Botox for a few months now and this place came highly recommended. Once I found out they were having a special Botox offer I decided to do it and make my appointment. The process was simple and they even send you a text reminder a few days before to make sure the date/time still work. Day of, I went to the clinic and Miriam injected the botox.
Highly recommend her as she was extremely helpful in identifying where I would want my Botox. She offered plenty of tips on post care and was highly communicative during the process on what to expect. It's day two and I'm starting to see the results which Mirian mentioned could take 3-6 days to take full effect. No bruising or headaches which she mentioned were potential side effects. Overall super pleased with my experience and excited to see the rest of the results! Will go back the next time I'm ready for more Botox.

I am a worrier, and finding a doc that is reassuring and doesn't make light of my (usually) unfounded fears is a godsend. This person is Miriam Ferreira, P.A.-C, MMS at All Skin Dermatology in Berkeley. She listens, she doesn't rush you and she performs excellent work. My skin cancer (some imagined and some real) have all been successfully treated with the utmost care for my fragile emotional state. There is nothing like a dermatologist who really cares about you as a whole person. Can't recommend Miriam highly enough.

First, I want to say that I had a great experience with the doctors here. They're very warm, knowledgeable, and professional. However, I really struggled with scheduling appointments! Both times I called and left a message, I didn't receive a call back and ended up only being able to schedule because I followed up. Even when trying to schedule, there was a lot of confusion about what my appointments were for and seemed to be a lack of communication.
When I arrived for my appointment, there were more issues about what I had arrived for. A word of advice for scheduling here - be sure to write down what everyone says and who said it and be a self-advocate. Again, a fine experience once I was there, but I imagine this could have been a much longer process if I hadn't been willing to push back and follow up.

I do not recommend this practice to anyone who's considering coming here. I'll preface by saying that the doctors are great, but their staff and admin are pretty ineffective, unresponsive, and unreliable. I was seen by Miriam Mona Gaffer Ferreira for a skin condition a few weeks back, who was very helpful and set me up with a solid plan to treat my condition.
When it came to acquiring my prescribed medication, however, their office never completed the paperwork needed, and I ended up in a CVS Caremark hell hole. In short, CVS never received the prescription for my needed antibiotics. I spent Monday, Tuesday, and all of Wednesday calling the doctors office to make sure they'd sent the pharmacy the needed paperwork for my antibiotics. CVS, to this day, has no record of any outreach from the doctor's office. I've left their practice countless of voicemails, and spent over an hour of my time on the phone with a CVS Caremark rep trying to figure out if there was a clerical error on their end. It's been 5 days and neither I nor CVS have heard back from the doctors office for any follow up whatsoever.
All the while, I'm still unable to access the antibiotics the doctor prescribed in order to start my treatment. I will definitely be canceling my follow up appointment, and seeking treatment with another practice instead. I'm disappointed at their patient care, and find it unacceptable to be left without treatment for a week. What's the point in in seeking medical help if I won't be able to get the medication needed to treat my condition?

Nice office and they gave me an appt with an NP who has training in dermatology. She was very nice but too gentle with freezing and I was left with some lesions. I've been to many other dermatologists, so I know what to expect. I didn't have any redness or blistering so I'm not sure they were all actually removed. I would request an appointment with the main dermatologist.

My general practice physician referred me to this practice. Since the Dermatogist is scheduled for several months, I made an appointment with physician assistant, Miriam Ferreira. She was thorough, thoughtful, considerate, and patient. Miriam provided simple to understand explanations, treatment options and recommendations. I appreciate her pleasant bed side manners. I highly recommend this practice and especially PA Miriam Ferreira.

No one knocks. I was interviewed by an assistant and told to strip and put on a gown or sheet over my legs. After waiting a bit, a completely different person came in and without introducing herself, she began asking me about why I was there. No one told me what they were doing or what was happening next. My covering was moved and removed with no warning or explanation.
The same assistant came in and out of the room 3 different times. Each time without knocking or explanation of why she was in the room. Very unprofessional, unless you consider yourself livestock and you don't expect to be communicated with by the staff. So if "shut up and give us your copay" is your style of Medicine then these are the guys for you. I even got to participate in the car shopping one of the receptionists was doing. I hope she finds something that works for her. Both receptionists were very nice.

Today was my first visit to Dr Dunn. I gave a history of skin cancers and she is my third dermatologist over the years and moves. She is the best thus far. I especially loved how she explained everything, took time and patience to answer questions (even though she was informed a Dr was on a phone line for her) and friendly. I feel my skin will be carefully monitored by Dr Dunn for the coming years.

I have been seeing Dr. Dunn off and on for a few years. I love how she listens, examines, and Educate you on what the issue is. She prescribes what you need she has a MA go over everything before you leave the room. The products she sell in the office is amazing. The staff are very courteous and nice. My wait time wasn't long and the COVID precautions were superb. I along with a few other family members love her work ethics. Can't wait to see my results in 8 weeks.

Normally I don't write reviews but I wanted to give a shout out for how clean this office was and how safe it felt during the middle of a pandemic to be around my medical provider. Everyone was masked to the T, gloved, the place smelled clean, they asked all the right cautionary questions (in my opinion) and my experience with my dermatologist was on point. Can't speak for the cosmetic stuff they do but I'll definitely be back for my yearly appts needed for skin cancer prevention. I would recommend if you want a place that feels safe and follows all CDC guidelines right now.

It's of my opinion that dermatologists have all been a little standoffish in the past but not the two I met here at All Skin. My experience was polar opposite from what I have dealt with in the past, what a refreshing change. I have had really dry skin since moving to the Bay Area from Florida and I could not figure out how to fix it. Funny thing is, when I went in for this, they addressed it like it was a REAL problem and also prescribed prescription lotion for me which I didn't even know existed.
I was also able to ask about my ever evolving wrinkles and they offered me a free consultation with one of their nurses who would later help me figure out if I wanted laser, cosmetic fillers or botox. Gahhhh if only I could afford all of them I would but I found something that works for me now and am feeling a little better about myself in these non-stop Zoom meetings.
I only met the NP whose last name you cannot forget, Spooner, and the PA whose last name I did forget but her first name is Miriam I think, and they were both really professional and listened and seemed to care about me. That, again, is a first for me in a medical environment. I tell all my clients about All Skin now and even have my next full skin exam scheduled for the first time (ever) next month. Wish me luck!

It's been hard to get into a Dermatologist during this time so I'm so grateful that All Skin was accepting new patients. Thankfully I've had pretty good skin my whole life, but recently I've been getting breakouts and some hyperpigmentation which came out of nowhere. I tried everything you could imagine over the counter and nothing was working.
I even tried that Curology telehealth but that was basically the same outcome. When I came to the office for the first time, my first thought was "wow, this is really clean!" So that was a good first impression for me. I was scheduled to see the Nurse Practitioner, Mrs Spooner and she was fantastic! She listened to me and actually appeared as though she genuinely cared.
I sort of feel like in my past appts with anyone at the doctors, that they were trying to push me out the door but with Nicole, she kept asking me if I had questions or if there was anything that I thought we didn't address. I don't think I've been asked that before, haha. So yes, after a few months on my new regimen I'm already seeing a difference.
They have this connection with a really well-priced compounding pharmacy and prescribed a medication that was specially formulated for my skin and it WORKED! It was also well priced in my opinion, for a medication that wasn't going through my insurance. Now I don't even have any breakouts and my discoloration that evidently was just front post-pregnancy, is almost gone. Thank you All Skin and Nicole! I will tell all my friends about you and continue to rave about my awesome experience.

I recommend All Skin to pretty much everyone I know and I'm confident that they will treat everyone's needs from small to large. I met the team 2-year ago when I had the absolute worst bite from what I think was a spider and I was able to get in to see the NP same day, she fit me in even though I think she was booked. I have been seeing Nicole Spooner ever since, and can't recommend anyone more highly.
She make me comfortable, follows through and is a great listener to whatever is going on with my skin. I value her extensive knowledge on everything about dermatology. She was even able to give me a few samples of products I wanted to try but wasn't sure about buying yet. Definitely the place for me!

Avoid at all costs! Allskin misdiagnosed me with a fungal skin infection. Once diagnosed, my clinician forgot that we had agreed to a prescription, and I had to chase her for weeks to get the prescription sent to pharmacy. in the meantime, my skin condition continue to worsen. When she finally returned my calls, she told me that we'd agreed that I would call her back after I thought about it. she had completely forgotten about our conversation.
I began treatment for fungal infection, which only exacerbated my skin problem. When I checked with a more reputable clinic, they informed me that the Allskin clinician had misread the results of my skin scrape, and that the results actually read negative for fungus. The reputable clinician diagnosed me with eczema, and told me to discontinue the treatment that Allskin prescribed. Also, the Allskin clinician's notes said that I had rashes in places that I didn't. I'm presuming she either misheard me, or got my chart mixed up with someone else's. I'm still waiting for those mistakes to be corrected in my chart.
In all, I had a terrible experience that resulted in further irritation to my skin. Allskin wasted my time and money; and I found the communication to be poor, and the attention to detail lacking. Do yourself a favor and go to a reputable dermatologist and require that you be examined by an MD, not a physician's assistant, etc.

I've worked with Nicole Spooner, NP and I think she is fantastic. She's calming, approachable, patient, and super knowledgeable. She helped me so much with my chronic hives, even suggested a monthly injection medication no other doctor ever told me about. It is the ONLY thing that has helped my horrible hives outbreaks. She really knows her stuff; can't recommend her highly enough.

I called the office three times and went through the very lengthy recording. There were no options to speak with a human unless you knew their extension. On the second and third try I left a voicemail for the office manager who has yet to respond. Her message says she will respond by the end of the day.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Came in for a skin check. Front desk was rude, was left sitting in a room, in a gown, for 30 mins. Nobody came in to tell me there would be a wait. Honestly don't even think they remembered I was in there. This was my first appointment and I will never be returning. Made sure to let my doctor at one medical know it was an awful referral. Very disappointed.

Where's the 10 star rate? LOL Definitely a first class dermatology office and personnel. The staffs are very friendly and informative. They take their time to explain all the important medical procedure and after care. Marilyn is amazing. She makes you feel comfortable. She has done several treatments on me and I couldn't be happier. If this your first time visiting a dermatologist and you are looking for a long-term provider, you can't go wrong with All Skin Dermatology.

I was treated by Dr. Mirriam Ferreira and really liked her approach. She goes straight to the point and has good sense of humor (which was good since I was concerned with my skin). My consultations were through Sutter Health, so making appointments were not as fast as I wished (about 2-3 weeks). If you can be patient, it's worth it.
