The nurses and doctors are so very nice always there to please and take care of patients with no hesitation very appreciative of their feedback and very attentive my experience there was very comfortable. I would also like to add that the nurse and doctor that I had was very respectful and made sure that I had all the options I needed for medical care because my medical is not correct in the system they pointed me to free primary Care they pointed me to a psychiatrist they helped me with everything I needed to be helped with and they answered all my concerns even though they are understand they are still working very very hard to take care of all their patients and their needs if I was asked what hospital I would refer somebody to it would be landmark hospital in Woonsocket Rhode Island I also want to add and thank all the nurses and the very kind doctor that I got because this doctor went above and beyond for me to make sure that I had my emergency medications and I want to thank them for that.

This hospital is understaffed and unorganized. I understand the staff is overwhelmed and overworked but a little recognition to each patient, could go a long way. My significant other and I came in because she was having severe withdrawals of a prescribed medication she was told by a Dr to stop taking. After falling and vomiting on the floor of the waiting room, she was still told to stand by, good thing she's stronger than she looks, and didn't pass out.
Then once we had a room (shared with 3 other patients) we were put in the back and left there for an hour an half. Unattended. It would have been nice a curtesy, "hey ladies, we apologize, but we are understaffed. However, someone will come by and help you out as soon as one of us are available. Please be patient. We are trying our best." That would have been nice.
Instead we were left in the dark and I snapped and raised my voice at a few of the staff members (and they didn't deserve it) but to see my significant other vomiting and in pain yet being overlooked was jarring and worry some. I thought no one knew we were back here waiting for assistance. So maybe if the staff had a better communication with the patients and with each other, then this hospital maybe wouldn't get such horrible reviews. Hope you all do better in the future.

They are very short staffed. Unless it's truly an emergency don't go. You are better off commuting to another hospital the wait time is crazy. I ended up leaving without getting seen. I get it, medical staff shortages and what not. The reason for this comment is not to make them feel bad, but to let the community know that this hospital is overwhelmed.

The staff-superb! The receptionist is a warm and welcoming person who greeted me with a smile and a "hello" when I walked through the entrance. The experience was so much easier than previous mammograms. "J" was attentive and caring making sure I was comfortable during the exam. I was also given a.small gift package with a monthly planner and peppermint candies after checking in. What is often an appointment that is a nerve-wracking experience was a pleasant start to the middle of my day. Thank you ladies for the positive experience!

This is the second time my appointment has been canceled both of which I waited on for months. This time I drove in 3 hours out of state only to have my appointment canceled within hours of the actual appointment. This is time off work plus traveling to have the male receptionist hang up on me when I asked for an explanation. When I asked to be accommodated I was told the Doctor didn't have any openings and wouldn't be able to see me in the short time I had allotted for this appointment/trip. I have a serious medical issue and and this inconsiderate and unprofessional. You all should be ashamed of how careless you are with people's time and health.

My sister was in the ICU at Landmark these last few weeks, she has since passed. While she was there, we could not see her because of Covid. We were able to make one call to the nurse to see how she was doing. All in all, it was horrible! My sister's little bit of belongings was put in a bag to give to us. We were very upset to see the wooden angels given to my sister were stolen.
The whole experience was heart-wrenching, but to have my deceased sister's belongings stolen was disgusting! I hope to ever did this despicable act, know karma is real and you will face it one day. Sad to say, the hospital is poorly run anyway, Covid exacerbated it for sure.

Review for ultrasound and tour of maternity ward. First let me say every staff member I came in contact with in the hospital was so friendly. I was asked more than once if I needed help finding my way. I had an 11:00am ultrasound appointment.on a Sunday.that's right! My husband was also allowed to finally come and see our baby on the big screen.
My OB practice that I had been going to previously didn't allow him at ANY appointments due to COVID. Our ultrasound tech was so friendly and did her job very well. She then helped us find the maternity ward for our tour. The nurse there spent an entire hour showing us around. The nurse to patient ratio is not high and she mentioned 2 staff nurses there recently delivered at Landmark.
Then the rounding pediatrician showed up on the unit and actually stopped to talk to us for 5 min.what?! I work in the medical field.this is not normal. Usually nurses have 1 min to spend with you and doctors don't have time to even talk to their colleagues. I was truly BLOWN AWAY. I feel so much better about switching practices to deliver at Landmark.

$12,047.26 bill for my husband's stress test! They do not take Cigna insurance and said nothing about that when my husband checked in with a Cigna insurance card! I think they should be obliged to disclose that to patients checking in with insurance that they do not accept! Cigna paid nothing, and it was not applied to my deductible or out-of-pocket. Since we had the procedure approved in advance, if we had gone elsewhere, it would have been a $40 co-pay.

I actually do not allow anyone to call an ambulance for me because I always get brought to landmark hospital. Ok so needless to say I was dying and an ambulance was called and for the fifth time this year I was brought and admitted to landmark hospital. I was told I had inclusions blocking the circulation to foot and yes they focused on that and secondary my toe that turned black and gangrene.
They discharged me and referred me back to my podiatrist that had initially referred to the hospital. I went home only top bre brought back with the usual double pnemonia I seem to catch from there 4 times already this year. This time the doctors decided to play with my pacemaker.at the time I haff no idea they w0llere doing it without the bio company that controls and tests it. It's called comprising the integrity of my pacemaker. Thanks again landmark. nurses were wonderful. Especially jenn and all the icu nurses.

The ER at Landmark is an extremely below average, dated, and filthy building that I'm not sure passes health codes. I have unfortunately had to visit them a few times, and have been concerned each time, particularly with cleanliness. The first time I took my wife there, there was dried blood spatter on the walls. It honestly looked like Mario Batali tried to make chicken parm in a plane flown upside down by Denzel Washington.
In my most recent visit, the nurse pulled over a table for me to put my arm on for my IV, and there was literal wet blood on it which was wiped up quickly with a TISSUE. As that needle entered my arm, thoughts filled my mind, including the old Mentos "Freshness" ads, Magic Johnson's retirement speech, and my lack of written will. In other words - I didn't trust the needle. Also, the doctor who saw me was the most unkept, rude, and useless medical professional I've ever seen in my life.
I wouldn't send my cat to see this guy. The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the nurse I recently had - Sam - was absolutely outstanding. I don't hold him responsible for the filth of the building, and he truly did everything in his power to make me feel better. Kudos to that guy. Bottom line - avoid this place at all costs!

Horrible horrible doctors at this hospital. Immediate family member in the ICU and waiting to speak to the doctor after she told me there was only 24-48 hours left. Sitting here for 2 full days and still haven't seen a doctor named Bujou. Nurses are super friendly but this doctor is just ignoring us. 2 full days and not 1 visit. I wish we went to RI hospital. Do not come here if you don't have too, go to any other hospital.

After suffering severe abdominal pain, i did not think i could make it to Milford Hospital, but i really wish i had just gone there. Got a ct scan done here. 30 minutes after my scan i was being released saying it was an ovarian cyst and to follow up with there OBGYN. For the past two weeks i have been taking the prescription prescribed with no relief. Today, two weeks after my visit I had my appointment with the gyno who told me the CT scan did not show an ovarian cyst, only fluid build up which they assumed was from an ovarian cyst.
Now i have to go back to landmark for an ultrasound (which they could've done while i was already there) and wait another two weeks before I can be seen by the doctor again. I know I would not be going through all of this had i just gone to milford hospital. I will never step foot in this hospital again and I hope nobody else does either.

This hospital is the worst ever. Rescue brought my 92 year old dad in here. We waited for hours while he was in excruciating pain. In the time we were waiting for some onfornation not one nurse came into check on him. If you think you might be dying or suffering from something bad don't go here you'll never walk out feeling better.

My son had an EKG here. We were told it was abnormal. Our pediatrician referred us to a pediatric cardiologist who reviewed EKG and said it was completely normal. Obviously whoever initially read EKG is incompetent. The staff is friendly when calling for info but that's the only positive thing I can say about this facility.

I went to Landmark hospital for treatment on May 19, 2016, around 5 pm or so. After waiting for hours I came out and stood in front of the door to room waiting for a doctor it is now past midnight A 6'7foot black fellow named George started yelling at me to get back on my gurney. I said; you can call security! I said; I need to see doc! I have been here for hours. George came at me pushing me back in the room.
My arms started flailing in fear of this huge man and I maybe hit his side once or twice while pleading to him to let me go. Soon others came and he tagged teamed with them and an evil heartless nurse (Melissa?) I screamed for mercy as men groped me trying to hold me down as I writhed in total fear while being belittled with words obscene and heartless!
I had only a Johnny which was now up and exposing my privates. I had no underwear on. They tied my legs spread eagle to the bed, left hand on the side rail and the right above my head. I begged cried for mercy but they stabbed me hard with shots in my thighs. Hours went by with much crying and pleading and each time I thought they were coming to release me they would come in and just stick me with another needle, mostly the nurse come to stab me; 7 times I believe, causing extreme illness the following day with bruises, pain and soreness, feeling the beating of 8 men beating on me.
They left me exposed, Johnny wide open! From time to time George would look in the window at me writhing and smirk. I never felt so violated and traumatized in my life! Some were high 5ving each other and the woman was egging them on with words of praise. Absolutely sickening! I really am feeling ill after the attack on my person the numerous shots and the dehumanization.
I pray no one ever goes to Landmark hospital and is put in the "Back" and brutalized to a criminal degree. Note: The perpetrators of this abuse were on the night shift May 19-20, 2016

Overall the emergency doctors and nurses performed professionally, albeit a little slow to react after the fact and actually administer some treatments and Meds.took 3+ hours. A little of the left hand not knowing what the right hand does from what I observed. Many Doctors and nurses were very good but maybe over worked. The real nightmare started after some tests and scans were ordered the following day.
The admin staff that works behind the scenes are quite dysfunctional with seemingly/lousy, if any, interdepartmental communication. We had a hard time getting answers and followup from many there. Julie who communicates and coordinates with visiting Doctors was particularly painful to deal with when we visited her. She just completely blew us off not wanting to address our concerns, a witch of sorts.
The manager of scheduling was also all hat and no cattle, no followup from her after she assured us of results. Where have these people been spending their lives? Customer service drives everything today. Also when tests and scans are ordered, you are asked who they should go to. Sounds basic right? They cannot even do this.and as a patient you have to come in and coordinate this departmentally.
Really strange, having never seen or been exposed to this level of non execution. The test results even say where to send the results to.and it just does not get done, at least with us a couple of times. Having come from the Hospitality Industry these Hospital types really need a dose of Hospitality skills in at least pretending they care for you in wanting to fix your concerns and problems.
Also it seems they are way behind the times with systems and automation, again very slow and dysfunctional. I hear they are starting this now, but I predict many employees will not be able to cope.

What can I say about Woonsocket Hospital. Well, for starters, they felt that my dad didn't need a CT Scan or an MRI even though he ended up there this afternoon due to a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack.) The ER doctor didn't seem too concerned, the RN poked fun at my mom to my face, for providing them with notes that she described as a, "dissertation, " rather than thankfully acknowledging the fact that there were details about his episode that were vital to problem solving.
The more we know, the more accurate the assessment, correct? Then again, what do I know? I'm not a medical professional. Out of the entire staff, the ER secretary was the most compassionate, but what can she do? Not much. I'm not asking that everyone gush like a social worker, but it comes down to common sense and vigilance; two of the numerous aspects that lack at Woonsocket Hospital. Sigh.
