Allergy is a sensitivity some individuals develop to substances which are ordinarily harmless to most people. When the allergic person comes into contact with something to which he or she is sensitive, symptoms develop. Symptoms vary greatly. Common ones are sneezing, rash, itching and wheezing. Substances to which the allergic individual may become sensitized are called allergens.
Asthma is an inflammatory lung disease. The inflammation causes the airways in your lungs to become sensitive and narrow when triggered by factors such as cold air, exercise, infection or allergens. People with asthma have episodes of breathing problems in which the airways become blocked and breathing becomes difficult, with wheezing or cough.
If you have allergic rhinitis, your immune system mistakenly identifies a typically harmless substance as an intruder. This substance is called an allergen. The immune system responds to the allergen by releasing histamine and chemicals that typically cause symptoms in the nose, throat, eyes, ears, skin and roof of the mouth.
If you have a food allergy, your immune system overreacts to a particular protein found in that food. Symptoms may occur when coming in contact with just a tiny amount of the food. Food allergies are usually diagnosed in childhood, though they may also develop in older children and adults. While many children outgrow a food allergy, it is also possible for adults to develop allergies to particular foods.

Very good experience at this facility. All of the staff were awesome. I was a little nervous with it being a allergy clinic and preconceived notions but it was a good experience that probably everyone should go through. Can't say how at ease the staff made me. The Dr was extremely helpful. They gave me a handout for each problem that I'm having and some very useful information on how to help with it.

The Bryant clinic was amazing! We had an incredible experience! The office staff and nurses were so kind and knowledgeable! Dr. Stoner was very thorough and super smart! She took the time to inform us, ask questions, guide us and develop a comprehensive treatment plan! She is very sweet and compassionate too! We could not have been more happy with our experience at this clinic!

Dr. Ingram at the North Little Rock office is awesome! Very caring and concerned about your overall well being, and he wants to see you well. He takes his time to ensure you are satisfied with your treatment and is very friendly while being professional and informative. Overall, this is a great clinic with an awesome team of caregivers.

I would recommend this place to anyone suffering from allergies. I have battled them for the last few years and finally feel like I'm going to get some relief. The tests were quick and painless. The doctor was thorough with the examination and knowledge he provided about alleviating my allergy symptoms. I cannot wait to start my allergy shots that are custom to my specific allergies!
This would be a 5 star rating but my experience when I first entered the clinic was awful. Before entering the clinic I saw a sign stating that masks were required. I enter the building thinking there would be masks there available. There weren't any and I didn't have one on me because I was not driving my vehicle. I walk over to the check-in counter and the lady behind the desk and window signaled that I needed a mask after throwing her head back as if she was either disgusted or annoyed.
I told her I did not have one and she rolled her eyes and pointed towards the door signaling me to leave. Let me make clear that she did not have a mask on and did not have one around her at the time. I walk outside and my mom gives me one she had in her purse that was used. What's safer in this situation? I go back in and the lady is obviously irritated because I now have a mask and points at the lady behind the desk closet to the door.
I know this seems like a rant but I was truly upset with how I was treated when all I ever was was respectful and polite. To end on a positive, the doctor and other staff definitely made my experience better.

The people at clinic starting at the check in was a wonderful experience. Everyone was very helpful in checking in, to the nurses checking on my comfort even in an uncomfortable experience. Everything was handled in a very professional matter. Dr Scheer's interview and analysis of my background and physical Well being was much appreciated. I'm now hoping to have a much better experience in living. So I say thank you!
