Services
Since our founding in 1983, New England Pediatrics strives to provide our patients with the best and most comprehensive pediatric care possible from birth until 22 years of age. We accomplish this through close collaboration between our staff, our patients and their families. Our physicians and nurses are recognized for compassion, experience, knowledge and a commitment to excellence.
Thank you so much for your invaluable input and great patience during our string of phone calls regarding Steve's vitamin overdose last Friday evening. If it hadn't been for your advice and support, I am certain the hospital ER doctor would have x-rayed and pumped his stomach. It saved our son from much unnecessary trauma.
Topics we commonly discuss include nutrition, sleep questions, speech development, toilet training, school readiness, sibling and family issues, as well as the normal developmental expectations for each stage of early childhood. When you schedule these visits well in advance, you may request your physician of choice. We appreciated your careful explanations, and were delighted that her progress allowed us to take her home after one week.
In order to provide the most thorough well care possible, we prefer to schedule only two siblings per family, during the same morning or afternoon session. If you have triplets, we will arrange for one doctor to see them together in the same session. Whenever possible, a parent should accompany a child under 18 years of age to well visits to facilitate first-hand communication between doctor and parent, and to authorize the necessary immunizations. Our office staff makes reminder calls two to three days before each well visit.

We've taken both of our children (4 and 2-years-old) since they were born and really love the experience we've had over the years. Dr. Palker is our primary physician, but our children have also been seen by Dr. Davis and Dr. Morelli. To a person, every doctor has been professional, thorough, and pragmatic in their care for our kids. We're very appreciative of their approach and how they engage with and interact with our son and daughter.
In addition to helping us address any injuries or ailments our kids have had over the years, the physicians and nurses at New England Pediatrics make them feel comfortable and, dare I say, enjoy their visits to the doctor's office.

Very, very disappointing. We were patients for many years (more than a decade) when we lived in the area, from the time that our children were born until we moved overseas. One would think/hope that the practice would feel some sense of connection, or at least obligation, due to our former relationship with them. However, when I contacted them recently to ask for a specialist referral for our daughter, who lives nearby again as a university student, they could not have been less helpful or more unfriendly.
It made me feel as if our former long-standing association with the practice meant nothing, and it definitely coloured my formerly positive feelings about them. Drs Klenk and Levine, in particular, were very special to us, and I am extremely sorry to see how badly run the practice is now.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. KEPT TRYING BUT IT"S HORRIBLE. NURSES ARE GREAT. SOME OF THE DOCTORS AS WELL. The service is horrible. The receptionist have not respect or customer skills. THEY WANT TO TAKE MONEY FOR EVERYTHING. They just want to keep you going to their office when the child is sick with no diagnose. THEY DIDN"T DIAGNOSE MY DAUGHTER WITH LYME DISEASE. I HAD TO TAKE HER TO THE ER. STAY AWAY!

We switched to NE Peds 13 years ago when we moved. On the first visit with my then 4 month old daughter, she was referred to a specialist for a condition that our first pediatrician missed and required multiple surgeries. Thirteen years and two kids later, we still go and have good things to say- and my 13 year old's file can attest to how much time she has spent at NE Peds and in the hospital.
Aside from Dr. Levine, whom I avoid at all costs, the doctors are caring and patient and we don't ever feel rushed. The nursing staff are great, and for sick visits, they always seem to get you in.

I changed from Westchester Medical Group to this practice as we moved to South Salem. Unfortunately I haven't had good experience with the group. They don't care about the patience but to collect fees for every single request like Immunizations records, annual report, cancellation of visits etc. The customer service desk at New Canaan is poorly managed. I do like Dr. Palker as he try to connect with the kids and their needs.

I think they are great! Our little guy was sick with a fever and they see him every day and are truly concerned for his well-being. They always call back when he is sick and do not act as though my first time mom questions are ridiculous. Our last pediatricians office in Greenwich was a nightmare. They never called back when he was sick, the nurses were rude, and they were totally unorganized. Compared to our last experience they are amazing and we feel very lucky that we have them.

My three children have been patients of New England Peds for 10 years. The practice is no longer as is once was. It is heart breaking. We love the nurses like family - Lynn and Christine are like trusted friends and I am truly sadden to no longer see them. They are reassuring, patient and have been there for me through joyous, stressful and even fearful times (a new baby, chronic ear infections, numerous rashes, injuries, and all the madness of raising a busy active family). Dr. Morelli is an amazing doctor.
It is so unfortunate that he and Doctors Levine and Klenk, who have built a much trusted practice, have allowed it to tumble so far. The office staff has always been prickly with one staff member (she started out at the front desk but is now one of the clinical staff) being infamous for her dismissive nature, a bit like the notorious soup Nazi. However, in the past several years, the practice has added doctors that seem to come to work to be tortured and genuinely lack any common sense let alone adequate skills as a physician.
And then there is the business manager who has zero customer service ability and the people skills of wild bore. She is wholly inept. At some point you will have to deal with her and it is nothing short of brutal. There are plenty of patients in this town to keep this practice in business as the revolving door it has become - but trust me - save yourself the trouble go someplace - ANY PLACE! else.
